It was a very pleasant stay here. Our pax had 12 adults, 4 infants and a 5-year old. Although google predicted heavy rainfall, we were spared and it hardly rained. Food was awesome. We took an entire bungalow + 2 cottages. Everyone liked the stay and just as we were planning to extend our stay on our last day, we got to know that there was another booking in line. This place is very reasonable definitely suggested if you are visiting Wayanad.

Dhanagiri Homestay is a beautiful homestay nestled amidst lush green coffee plantation. We stayed in one of their cottages situated in the small hill surrounded by plantation. The room has a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains. Room was spacious and neat. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The place was very peaceful and calm. It's a perfect place to connect with nature in complete tranquility. The homestay is situated in Vyithri and is close to attractions like Zipline, the new tribal village, tea plantations and view points. It was raining heavily, when we visited Wayanad so the major attractions were closed. But we could visit some waterfalls, tea plantation and view points. We loved our stay at Dhanagiri Homestay and looking forward to visit again.

This was the best home-stay I’ve ever been to. We had excellent views and great hospitality during our time here. The farm is beautiful and it’s very evident how much care and effort the owners put into the property. The food was very healthy and delicious. Their cook is just excellent. The service was very warm and attentive. The staff were kind enough to take us on a trek at sunrise and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Can’t recommend the place enough!

I stayed here with my wife for two nights at this amazing property in the middle of a coffee estate. The room is spacious, very clean and with all the basic requirements. The room is good with the most beautiful view from the balconies. The staff is very courteous and helpful especially the manager Santosh. We really enjoyed the food, all meals breakfast buffet, Lunch (Order bases) and Dinner was amazing with a lot of options. Especially the chicken biryani was finger licking good. The flavours were lite and extremely tasty. Evening we went for a small trekking to the top of the hill, the view from there was pretty amazing. But a small suggestion, it would be great if there was a walkway to reach the hilltop. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing time with your family and friends in the beautiful environment in a cost effective way. !!

Dhanagiri homestay is nestled amidst lush coffee plantations and has beautiful tropical mountain views. The rooms are very well maintained and have a balcony overlooking the scenic outdoors. The food is prepared with locally grown produce (farm to table), with less oil, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. We relished on authentic homely Kerala cuisine, served with love. The host and every staff are helpful and homely. The area around is surrounded by greenery, beautiful sounding birds and flowering plants. If you came to Wayanad and just stayed at this homestay, that itself would be a great holiday!

Very scenic, surrounding greens and clean rooms . Kerala authentic food preparation is good. Room service is fine. In one of the bedroom needs good beds. Also bathrooms to be fitted with bigger water geysers. Present one not sufficient in winter seasons.

Nice cozy place with a great early morning view, right in the middle of greenery. Breakfast was excellent. The crew built a glorious campfire and were eager to assist in setting up our cake table in front of the fire. Played carroms, badminton, table tennis, soccer all provided by them. Had to order dinner from outside which was promptly delivered to door step. Suggest keeping room heaters and thicker blankets.

Good villas & a bungalow. But the a/c was not there 😟 The food menu is limited & they need to reduce the cost of food. Highly recommend the place to stay. Kalpetta is a nearby town from here.

We stayed at Dhanagiri Homestay, Vythiry, Wayanad for 3 nights, and had an extremely pleasant experience. They have a sprawling coffee estate with lush greenery and lots of trees. Food was splendid, with personal touches. It was authentic keralite food, and in generous quantities. We went with family, and we were made to feel very welcome. My children were even taken on a trekking experience through the coffee estate. Special mention to Rajesh and Santhosh. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. And lastly thanks to Mr Anand, owner of the homestay.

This is managed property. there is no owner to host you. so we are disappointed as no talk with local culture and no warmth that u get from hosts. food is well prepared all the time and good in taste. chicken biryani prepared is ok. the vegeterian dishes and breakfast is all good. to sum up compared to 400 rs charged per plate for lunch and dinner, there was limited spread and limited quantity. one weird thing is desserts, eggs, bananas are limited in quantity for all meals/bf. service is good during meals. They prepared custom meal for my kid as per the request. Once we waited 30 minutes for a dinner. though they insist coming on time. we have to carry water to room 2 times ourselves. rooms are neat and clean. bathrooms are clean and decent. there is smart tv in the room with good wifi. has balkany and hill side view. but there steep walk of 200-300 meters to reach to the rooms. it is not kids or sinior citizen friendly. they should provide railings. also height is uneven for steps in between. the last 10 meter walk towards room is not even paved. bricks are put up every feet and you have to jump on it. grass is taller around and u cant guess ur steps. it could be better. my mother almost fell once. there is not enough light there as well. also there is a high tension wire going across near the rooms and lunch sitout. so there is constant crackling noise due to the discharge if you are at sitout or outside in balkany of ur rooms. there are no umbrellas to reach to your room from sitout area.

This home stay is at chonda and is one of the best places to stay if you're looking for good food. They do not have AC rooms but I'm sure you will not need it.

One of the best place to stay in Wayanad. Clam and beautiful place for families. They have 4 indipendent villa which is best . Staff are extremely professional and friendly. You can enjoy the view of coffee plantation and wide variety of fruits, flowers and trees here. The breakfast was very yummy πŸ˜‹ too.

Gorgeous homestay far from the city amidst lush greens and plantations. Must recommended spot if you ever want to catch a break and enjoy the peacefulness and solace. Hospitality and staff behaviour was top notch..Beautiful view of mountains, trees and coffee plantation from the cottage balcony..Cute and cozy restaurant area, campfire and just a few kilometers from the property there is a private waterfall, adventure activity spot and a hiking spot to see early morning sunrise. Will surely visit again ❀️

We stayed here for 2 nights 3 days with my family ( myself, wife , 2 yrs kid and father 66 yrs old). I would say that it's a pleasant stay in middle of coffee estate . The rooms were clean and tidy and the service provided was excellent. Jerrin( manager) was extremely kind and helpful during the trip. We are vegetarian family and it was really difficult to find good vegetarian restaurant in wayanad but the cooks in the resort Sudha and Ranjith prepared very tasty breakfast (puttu and Kerala food) and they packed extra food for the kids . Ranjith the other cook was friendly he prepared yummy dinner and milk payasam as per our request. Our entire trip was enjoyable ..i will strongly recommend the independent cottage facing the mountains for the family travellers ...All the very best !
