This place is not yet recognised as a tourist destination. If the Local body comes forward, they can transform this place into a tourist spot. For this, a lot of conservation measures are to be taken like desilting the lake, and prevention of pollution. The main obstacle in developing this place is probably the fact that it is a private property. Acquiring the land for development is the first (and most expensive) step. But this will be a rewarding effort as it would help in the development of the whole village. Hope the Kayakkodi panchayat will act.

There are nice scenery of green here. The water is full wealthy with fishes. But sad thing is it is ignored by the officials.
