Kottakkunnu is the one of the main tourist place in malappuram district... It's includes children park and amazing activities... There have ZIP LINE and ROPE CYCLING Big parking are... Ticket fee is 10/head Amazing children activities are available Inside of park many shops are available... But some shops are charging unreasonable prices for things.... It's a top of the small mountain at the centre of the Malappuram town. If you walk from the down you have to climb a number of steps up. There is Garden, Childrens fun park, Art Gallery, Open stage and adventurous activities... etc on this spot. Very crowded at weekends, it's better avoid weekends. On the pandemic period only vaccinated people are allowed. Foods and drinks, snacks are available at the top area, parking also available.

Vehicles can be parked in the top and we can roam there, or we can park vehicle in the bottom side and walk in through steps. 222 steps are there to reach in the top. Entry fee Rs. 10 per head. Vehicle entry extra charged. On the top, children's park and a few adventurous ride for adults also there with separate ticket.

Now is the perfect time to visit kottakkunnu. Since due to COVID the rush to kottakkunnu has somewhat decreased. So it is better to visit there now. The best time to go there is 6:00 am to 8:30 am or from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Most other times it's pretty hot. Due to the decrease in rush, you will get considerably good private space. Also the parking space isn't always full. Whenever you're visiting there please don't waste much money in their rides which is overpriced when compared to other places. For family outing in the evening, it is a best place. Childrens will love it. If you're planning to walk. One round through the interlocked circle will be approximately 750 meters
