Sometimes as a traveller you get lucky when you get to stay at such properties. After reviewing many properties for our stay in Wayanad, we decided to book this property. This is located at a hilltop amongst tea garden. This is a cute little property with 7 rooms. The rooms open up to a breathtaking view of tea garden and mountains. The mountains are usually covered with cloud which makes the entire experience out of the world. We reached the resort at 10 in the night and when we woke up the next morning and opened the curtains, we were awestruck by the scenery. Infront of us we could see the tea garden with small bunch of clouds and when the clouds cleared there were large mountains behind those tea gardens. The resort is managed by a small but dedicated team. The property has a dreamy approach road. There is a small pond. The entire property was covered by mist which makes the experience amazing. The food is ok. You have to order in advance. There is a swimming pool which is good. The rooms are spacious. They also have cottages behind the main property which are secluded. Ideal for honeymooners. Our kids loved the property too. The luxury rooms open to a balcony where you can chill and enjoy the surroundings in the afternoon. Overall a definitely recommended resort.

Very good location, but had a very bad experience with them. I had booked the cliff villa through Agoda just a day before the planned stay and travelled all the way from Bangalore to the property just to know that my booking was cancelled!! There were no notifications from them regarding the cancellation. Got to know that property guys sent me a message to pay some advance amount and cancelled the booking in 2-3 hours. And this was never conveyed to us. They just wanted to fill the rooms somehow. Show some ethics pls.

One of the finest placed to stay in Wayanad, The team/staff is extremely helpful, we have stayed here for 4 nights and the team has helped me plan for the overall trip, they arranged a personalised cab and also catered to our special request, The staff is polite and always ready to help with any assistance, one of the major highlights of this place apart from the scenic surrounding, the lush green mountains, and tree plantation is the food, which is freshly cooked and has amazing flavour and tatste In conclusion this place can fit anyone's plan and its a must visit if you you want to experience peace and serenity

This was a perfect property for us. Vivek from the team helped book it for a very reasonable price and it was a hassle free experience. Their service and food is superb. I have experience staying in all the type of properties, but Chateau Woods has raised the bar and provides overall better experience than a 5-star property. You should definitely try it.

One of the worst resort I have stayed.I had booked presidential suite with jacquizi they don’t have proper hot water arrangements for jaccquizi so it’s waste to book presedential suite here. They don’t have automatic power backup at morning 4:50 am Power went and they took 20 mins to on the generator the sleep had gone by that time .its not updated with 21st century trchnologies no solar nothing is there here. They charged me 12k per night for this Below average facility. Don’t go here by seeing good google reviews and book this resort at exobarant places. However the resort owner was supportive and promised a refund of one day and we stayed here only one day out of the two day booking and went to another better property

It was an overnight stay at Chateau Woods that we had planned. If we could have another go to Wayanad, I can't wait to wake up to the chirping of birds and watch the mist settle upon the picturesque scenery from Chateau Woods. We were showered with humbling service from the staff and Anas Anna. The vegetarian dishes were lip smacking. The Aloo Paratha and Chole Bhatura definitely deserve a try here. With comfortable rooms, ample indoor games, providing staffs and breathtaking view, Chateau Woods is a home-like stay ! Would recommend it to anybody who visits wayand!

We visited this property on 17th Feb this year and I am just amazed by the hospitality of the people and the condition of the stay place. It's clean, they provide amazing food , the swimming .pool adds to it. The best part about this place is, it's in the middle of the estate and that kinda gives u perfect place to be in away from city life. The people managing this place are extremely helpful and I am very thankful to them for taking such good care of us

Pros: 1. Anas is one of the best caretaker any hotel can ask for, he covered up for every shortcoming this hotel has and much more. Arranged everything on time. 2. the views from this hotel are magnificent from all the corners. 3. Food is delicious, they have good indoor games that keeps you entertained. Cons: Instagram influencers have hyped up so many average places, I'd say this is one of them. 1. No lift, you have to use stairs. be ready to go three floors + 5 min trek to reach your cottage room 2. The luxury rooms are good in most terms, but cottage rooms don't have room service. combine this with point 1 :') 3. Swimming pool had dark green water, so couldn't use. (this was during monsoon) 4. Toiletries are not adequate for what you'd expect at this price point. 5. AC wasn't working in cottage (making loud noises, spraying ice multiple times during night etc.). But they heavily compensated us for this shortfall (waived off 50% of the room charges, all thanks to Anas) Overall, it's a good stay for a day, but not for 2. If you're in Wayanad, book a centrally located hotel for your plans each day since everything is far away from each other.

A Delightfully Fishy Tale at Chateau Woods: A Review to Reel You In! Prepare to dive into a hilarious tale of a fishy encounter at the mesmerizing Chateau Woods in Kerala. Let me take you on a journey through this enchanting place, where the food, stay, and staff left us reeling with laughter, along with a slight pang for the missing fish delicacies. From the moment we arrived, Chateau Woods greeted us with open arms and a tempting aroma wafting from their kitchen. The highlight of our stay? The excellent food that seemed to be custom-tailored for each guest's taste buds. It was as if the culinary wizards in their kitchen had tapped into our deepest gastronomic desires. From spicy curries to fragrant biryanis, every meal was a masterpiece that left our taste buds doing a happy dance. The comfortable stay at Chateau Woods was nothing short of a dream. Nestled amidst a sprawling coffee estate, we woke up to the sweet melodies of birds and the gentle rustling of leaves. The rooms were cozy cocoons, inviting us to snuggle up and relax after a day of fishing, walking, and exploring the breathtaking surroundings. Oh, the picturesque views that greeted us at every turn! It was like living inside a postcard. Now, let's talk about the staff. They were the true gems of Chateau Woods, radiating warmth and friendliness. They seemed to possess a superpower to anticipate our every need, ensuring our stay was filled with joy and laughter. Their smiles were infectious, and their hospitality made us feel like royalty. We couldn't help but be charmed by their genuine care and attention. But here comes the punchline: amidst all the bliss, there was one minor hiccup—a missing fishy affair from the menu! As seafood enthusiasts, we had eagerly anticipated indulging in some tantalizing fish dishes. Alas, our taste buds were left hanging, desperately longing for the piscine delights that never made it to the table. It was a tad disappointing, but we decided to drown our sorrows in the abundance of other delectable options available. In the end, our stay at Chateau Woods was like a delightful comedy of errors, with the missing fish food serving as a running gag throughout our trip. But fear not, dear travelers, as the experience was still a true gem. The enchanting setting, mouthwatering cuisine, and the genuine warmth of the staff more than made up for this comical mishap. So, if you're seeking a place that tickles your taste buds, offers a comfortable stay amidst nature's beauty, and wraps you in the warm embrace of hospitality, Chateau Woods in Kerala is your ticket to an unforgettable adventure. Just be sure to pack a sense of humor and prepare for a fishy twist that will leave you chuckling for years to come.

Staff behaviour and their helping nature is too good especially Mr. Anas & Mr. Prince. Place is situated in some remote location but you will surely enjoy the room views and peaceful atmosphere. Property is well maintained. Food is also good but have only selected menu.

We visited Chetau woods from 14 Sept to 15 Sept.. It is situated on hill top amongst tea estates plantation all around with fog and chirping of birds .. A cozy estate with cottages by the edge of the cliff. They also have rooms in the main building which have a great view as well. Getting to the place can only be via the muddy hilly road which allows only 1 car at a time to pass, n it’s pretty narrow. But it’s not a problem or what so ever. Call ahead if you would want to have your meal at the property since the staffing is limited. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and good to strike a conversation:) The food we were served was tasty and the portion size was generous. Ample of parking at the front, for both two and four wheelers.

Property is really good, very caring staff, clean rooms. We were here for 2 nights and staying cliff cottage, it was comfortable stay with good views. Food taste was good. I am giving them 4 star only because breakfast could have more good spread but overall everything was awesome.

We stayed at chateau woods for 4 nights. It was a truly amazing stay. The location was top notch. We still couldn't get over the views from our bed itself. The hospitality was very impressive. Felt very comfortable. Especially Mr.Anas was so polite and helpful. He had attended all our needs very quickly. And so did all the other staffs as well. It is a MUST VISIT PLACE...! If u want to take a break from the concrete jungle. The breakfast was excellent. Lunch wasn't as good as compared to other places and felt it was overpriced.

The location is super perfect. Staffs were very courteous and cared out of their way. Before we Checked in the rooms were squeaky clean and smelled fresh. Views are another bonus. Breakfast was simple but had the basic Kerala and English. Their breakfast once eaten can last for maximum 3 hours plus with hiking. How 2 nights went was a real bliss. This is a stairs only based resort. Their cottage suite is really cozy but only book up for forest adventure stay. One night stay here is good for cottage suits if very adventurous as each cottage room is located around the forest. Opted for their luxurious room instead. The rooms are very spacious. Don't expect to much technology luxury as that's very basic again but will be a very comfortable stay.

Humble, polite, decent, friendly, cooperative, generous are the words which suits the staff of this resort. What a hospitality, never seen or experienced before though I stayed in many big 5 star hotels but this experience was awesome. My special thanks to Mr. Anas Malik, Mr. Sreejin (Chef), Mr. Shigin, Mr Prince who made our trip so relaxing and comfortable, we enjoyed their hospitality and service. The resort is at beautiful location and very neat & tidy. The staff arranged jeeps & safari trip to us in short time time & it was wonderful. We got to see many animals like wild elephant, bison, deer, etc.. Thanks a lot to Team Chateau Woods.

Amazing location , 2 hair pins with steep incline to welcome you to the resort ! Food taste, waiting time and sequence of food being served are areas where there is a little scope for improvement.

Chateau resort is in between the woods, it takes you time to reach, but once you reach it’s good. The view, service, food nothing has any complaints. There’s an outdoor pool and indoor games section, which is lot of fun. They arrange the camp fire in the night even if it’s just you or many people. The service is very good, whAtever issue any time of the day, it’s been addressed. The breakfast is complimentary and other meals are payable. The food menu is kinda expensive though.

I stayed here for 2 days with family. My experience was awesome and I enjoyed it. Location 5/5 - Awesome location. Better than other places in wayanad. It's very beautifull and no need to go anywhere else. Lovers point is very near to hotel which is pretty. Food - Food was better than most of cafes we tried in this area. Veg, non veg both were good. They just need to add little more ginger in the tea 🤣🤣 Resort - View is awesome, they have few fruit plants, fishing pond and pool is awesome. Staff - I can't thank them enough. My nephew was sick and they help us sooo much and even went to hospital with us at night. Thanks to the team. Overall awesome experience just go to this resort relax and explore nearby areas.
