Can't describe the vibe. I visited this waterfall on a rainy day. It's better to avoid the visit on cloudy season. because slipping may occur and it's dangerous. There is a small bridge, it makes the view more beautiful. Really an adventurous place. Don't miss this place to explore!

Beautiful place. Since its summer water is very low. Still there are places between the rocks with water enough to swim. Would be an awesome place at monsoon(dangerous too). They have ticket rated at 10 rs per head as per 20 march 2022.

An amazing waterfall jumping down with massive power. It's roaring sounds are blowing in atmosphere nearest areas. It's origin is from the dark mountain parts of western guts. So it's bluish colour is very attractive. There also a new bridge to see the waterfall with full pressure and to enjoy the water filled breeze forming from the fall. It's stream also have a Glassy like water flowing between huge rock parts.

Arippara opens to the best scenery and water fall where diving and swimming is safe. One of the best swimming spot in Kozhikode. It’s more preferable to choose this spot rather than Narengathodu as it’s restricted to swim there .

A beautiful place with picturesque surroundings.. Calm and serene atmosphere. The suspension bridge is the biggest attraction here. Entry ticket is 30/-. There are security guards and it is not recommended to take bath or play in water here due to instances of flash floods. The rocks are pretty cool and scary at the same time.

Nice place. Good waterfalls. Please be careful when you step into the water, at times the current is stronger than expected. Pretty risky if you don't know about the place.

Scenic view of hanging bridge and waterfall.. it can be visited during monsoon or summer and can have different view of nature..during monsoon water will be turbid and it's dangerous to get into the waterfalls.. however in summer it will be other way around.. there is a small entry and parking fees charged..

A wonderful place for a weekend hangout with family or friends. But make sure that you stay in a safe area. The Rock maybe slippery. There is a great view from the bridge.

Awesome viewpoint, awesome ambience. But, be warned though, the way to the bridge over the waterfalls is under construction, so there might be a little difficulty reaching the bridge. The good news is, the construction work is progressing at a rapid pace, and it will soon be a clean and beautiful, functional tourist spot. People are not allowed into the water, because there are very swift currents at the moment. The bridge has a visiting fee of ₹10 per person, so keep that handy. In short, visit Arippara Waterfalls during these few months only if you plan on not entering the water.

We visited this place on 11/12/2022 sunday. As it was a sunday, we thought that there would be a huge crowd. But there wasn't. Entry fees is 10 rupees per head. Parking space is available. Fun and nice place to visit. Water level was low. If it is hot climate, then we will have some discomfort. Otherwise it's a really great place to get pictures and to enjoy...

As always Kerala doesn't disappoint in it's natural and man made locations. The place has a steel bridge over which one can see the rush of water downward. The rains add to this rush als well. Thers a small 5 mgwt power generation plant too...

Good Place to visit in group.. avoid playing in water since it's hilly areas anytime water may surge forward when it rains in hills... careful while playing in water... Be cautious while it rains.

The best things is it is less crowded and having a bridge over the river ,which also gives best view of scenic beauty of waterfall, river and lush green surrounding with coconut trees. Entry fees is 10rs,closing time is 5pm

Awesome place to visit in Kozhikode district . Its around 2 hour journey from Calicut City. This waterfall is situated around 15 kms from Thiruvambady town in Kozhikode. The name Arippara means ‘rock of rice’ and a lot of small and huge rocks can be seen nearby. There is a hanging bridge to see the areal view of the falls. Several natural water pools between them make for great swimming experience for tourists, with the pristine water gushing through cracks in the rocks creating a wonderful musical backdrop.

Good place to chill, especially in the summer. Reaching the destination is bit trouble since the tarring and reconstruction works on the roads is going on throughout the route. Other problem is with the direction, there are signboards in the route but not in every junction and alternative routes. So you can rely on Google map along with enquiring with local people to get correct route. Entry ticket is 10 rupee per person and 40 rupee for camera. There are places for swimming so you can take extra dresses and towel. A newly constructed hanging bridge is the centre of attraction here.

Aripara Falls [alternate spelling: Arippara Falls (അരിപ്പാറ)] is a tourist spot in Anakkampoyil near Thiruvambady Town in Kozhikode district, Kerala.[1] It is located on the Thiruvambady - Anakkampoyil route, 15 km from Thiruvambadi. The waterfall is a tributary of Iruvanjippuzha. There is a proposal for implementing a hydro power project on the Arippara waterfall. Aripara Falls connects to other parts of India through Calicut city on the west and Thamarassery town on the east. National highway No.66 passes through Kozhikode and the northern stretch connects to Goa and Mumbai. The southern stretch connects to Cochin and Trivandrum. The eastern National Highway No.54 going through Adivaram connects to Kalpetta, Mysore and Bangalore. The nearest airports are at Kannur and Kozhikode. The nearest railway station is at Kozhikode.
