Not that famous or awesome place to be called as a tourist destination. But a good place for local people to enjoy sunrise and sun set.The view from top is good the people who love should visit it in evening when light house is switched is good to see with lot of breeze.I just saw a wonderful sunset, and of course I recommend.

Nice place, timing is evening 4 pm to 6 pm most of the months light will turn on after 6 pm, for eg. In May it is 6:15pm. So if you want to see the light, plan your trips in October, November and December. During these light will be operated at 5:45pm and we will be able to see it. Zoom the time showing chart for details.

Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery is beautifully located among the picturesque settings of Kozhikode and it is an ultimate destination for the historians and aficionados of art and literature. The art gallery is located in the vicinity of the museum and exhibits a number of paintings of Kerala's respected artists, including the Raja Ravi Varma, and Raja Varma, who were the connoisseurs of paintings and other performing arts. It is said that these paintings tell tales from the past and gives a visual history of Kerala.

The place is very good. Not too crowded usually. The view from the top is just beautiful. Earlier mobile phones werent allowed inside and we had to keep outside with the ticket collector. But now, we can take mobile phone with us. The ticket cost is just 10 Rs per person and it is worth it. There are many steps to reach the top and final steps are little tough. The timing differs from month to month. Usually it starts from 4 and ends at 5.45 or 6pm. Mask is still compulsory to enter. If you do not have a mask you can buy it from the ticket collector at Rs 5 per mask.

This place is so amazing, a rich heritage place. Built in 1909 AD, the location is tricky. So there will be a rail track, don't use the overbridge. Instead take a bypass and you'll reach the location. It is only open for 2 hours. A must visit place in Calicut.

A beautiful place to spend your evening. Mesmerizing views of sea with green lush surrounded. The place is managed by central government. Entry ticket cost 10 Rs for adults. The light house has 135 steps to climb over. You will see oldest systems to light with large lens.

*Thikkoti Light House* The lighthouse which overlooks Velliyamkallu off the Moodadi Coast in Kozhikode district, Kerala, was built after a shipwreck, the remains of which can still be seen here. The region around the Velliyamkallu Rock is the transit home of migratory birds. Visiting hours: 1500 to 1800 hrs Getting there Nearest railway station: Kozhikode, about 37 km Nearest airport: Calicut International Airport, about 62 km | Kannur International Airport, about 70 km

Location is little clumsy to find but locals will guide you correctly, purely central government controlled light house so well maintained, scenic beauty of nature can be experienced here and a treat to your eyes, payolli beach view and terrain of coconut trees is the main highlight , entry ticket is only 10 rupees, timings after 6 in the evening not allowed, parking is manageable,if more people took entry tickets they will leave in batches to view, ambience as told is classy, overall must tryout place...

Must visit place to visualise the beauty of sea from top distance. Reccomented time is evening but try to reach before 6. Ticket fare is as low as 5 ₹ per head. And a 10 ₹ for all types of still cameras.

It is very disappointing that those in charge didn't open the light house for the public even after the covid restriction are removed.
