A beautiful place away from town. Great if you are going as a group and book the full building which has 6 bedrooms with attached baths. Excellent service too. Breakfast is provided but if you need lunch and dinner they will prepare to order. The have a BBQ area and music system for entertainment.

Beautiful place to stay. Roads to the stay is very narrow and stiff. I would recommend not to put second gear as It required first gear only till you reach to hill where stay is located. At some point you will feel you are missed road but not to worry google map shows exact location. Please have a look at sign board placed on the way to help you to find the place. Don't miss morning scenery around the stay. Very beautiful and refreshing.

An amazing homestay at the top of the hill. Good hospitality , the hosts were too friendly. Rooms were luxurious. Since it is located at the top of the hill , driving car is slightly difficult for the low end cars . So buy snacks and other required things before coming to this resort . It will be a peaceful stay.Overall Experience & the view will be worth of it !

Without any information or review we stay there only one night . Basically I am from Dubai . In my life I never stay like this . the number one their neat and clean of the rooms and surrounding it will be better more than a 4 star . Also their reception we will feel like a second home in Kerala . Break fast I feel normal may be the food I don’t like . But altogether I will give 5 star facilities. Better you want to feel with your family one or two days away from the crowds you can choose this location it’s like Kerala traditional culture and calm and quiet . You will never loose the value of money and your time . Both two guys who serve us Shibu and I forget second person name ( sorry ) thanks a lot to serve us a presidential respect We will back sure

The best view comes after the hardest climb. Tuff road to reach the property but worth the climb. Great stay around the plantation. Loved the balcony view from first floor. Amazing staff who was very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Byju chetan (staff) for great hospitality.

A pretty good homestay in the midst of a coffee plantation along with all the amenities. They are providing good home cooked food as well. There is a quite large open parking for 2 and 4 wheelers. Loved the atmosphere overall.

During my two-night stay in Wayanad, Kerala, I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional place. It was a perfect blend of tranquility and cleanliness, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle. Waking up to the sounds of nature was refreshing, and the location being only 2 kilometers away from the city made it convenient. I highly recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in the lap of nature, with the added benefit of a welcoming and accommodating team.

Nestled in a coffee estate with stunning surroundings, it's perfectly located – close enough to town but far from the bustle. The hosts served delicious Kerala-style breakfasts and offered warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a memorable Wayanad getaway!

A comfortable stay, with very warm hosts. They can go an extra mile to take care of their guests. The caretaker even went out to get medicine late at night when I told him I was feeling sick. And the food served here is amazing, authentic Kerala food.

We had a very good time at Chambra Adobe! The bed was huge and we had a nice balcony attached to our room. The host showed us a beautifull place to watch the sunset. It was a little far from the main street and a bit hard to reach when you do not have your own transport.

The Chembra Adobe is a tastefully done homestay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are cozy and clean. The stay is for people who have their own conveyance , for others getting up and down the hill might be difficult. The highlight of my day used to be the breakfast served by the host. Super yummy 🀀. The caretaker is responsive and accommodating.

Chembra Adobe is an extremely beautiful resort. Very serene and calming. The rooms are comfortable and nice. The only con is it's connectivity. Great for people who have their own cars, for others getting up and down the hill might be tricky. In all great experience.

A beautiful bungalow on a hill top, peaceful & serene. The hospitality and service is very good. Rooms are appealing with a touch of wodden interiors across. It's an advantage to travel in own vehicle, might be a difficult tour if depended on a public trasport as the stay is on a hill top.

Located on top of a hill so very quite. Rooms were big and nice. Sink did leek a little bit. The hotel owners (veneesh) were very helpful in helping us plan the day and had a lot of suggestions to do. We also were able to check in early and check out late without additional fee.

Stayed at the Chembra Adobe on May 27 and May 28, 2023 with my family consisting of 8 members. The property is awesome with great ambience. Mesmersing view of the forest from the balcony. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. The hospitality and service of the staff is top notch. I have stayed in many places but never have come across such friendly and helpful staff. Mr. Ajo, Mr. Vineesh, Mr. Shibu and the other staff took good care of us. Served us delicious food and arranged a campfire with music. Mr. Shibu even sang for us. Only minor drawback is that it does not have a swimming pool. However, I understand from the staff that they are in the process of making one and that it will be completed soon. To conclude, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our stay. Will defintely go there again in future.

Location of homestay, view from homestay & ambience is good. Owner has invested well. But need improvements in staff, maintenance & service. They have only one cook who is not guided properly, staff seems lazy & doesn’t respond properly or communicate clearly. Room not cleaned bed sheets & towels not changed every day. Don’t rely on food here, as it is very limited & they serve half the quantity served against in restaurant. Once happened with us, They even turn off power connection & when asked about neighbours playing TV, suddenly power came. They say they clean room again only for long stay. If you don’t know Malayalam they don’t even bother to talk to you & respond, ignore tourist as if we come from different world. Staff has careless attitude. They serve food kept in refrigerator, in front of us they mixed the fried rice served to other top same bowl & when asked they mix and heat in front of us to serve. Road is narrow where only one car can pass at a time, not good for low ground clearance vehicles, but manageable. I think if they get better staff with positive customer attitude, treat everyone equally, improve room cleanliness & improve food arrangements, this might be best stay.

Thanks to CHEF SHIBU , ABHIMANYU , VINEESH who made the stay fun thanks to their sympathy, tasty thanks to the dishes cooked with care by the chef, organized thanks to the tours offered with cab. the structure is clean and fragrant, the room very comfortable and elegant, the internal and external common areas are well cared for. excellent value for money!

Probably the worst experience during entire 2 week of backpacking trip in Kerala. If you're someone who wants peace and quiet, this is NOT it! 🚫 You can literally hear every word spoken across the house in your room as there is no noise isolation. Plus the constant haggling was a big turn off, the managers forced us to pay tuck tuck wala more than twice what it read on meter, charged us obnoxious high price for the meager breakfast and cherry on top when the person offered to drop us off at bus stand with his car for more money than we paid to the tuck tuck! This experience will probably deter us from coming back to India for travel. 2 star for service because we were allowed to leave after one night of stay as we originally planned to stay 3 nights but very much a negative experience overall.

The best homestay I've stayed at in India!! We went as a large group of 8 adults and 3 children. We couldn't have asked for a better family friendly homestay. The property is located in serene surrounding, the staff super friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious and well maintained. There was plenty of room for the kids to run around and enjoy their time away from city life and enjoy the natural surroundings. Highly recommend this property for families.

The stay is a little isolated. But the best place to go to is if you want to escape from a busy hectic city life. Rooms are very clean and the toilets are clean too. The host is very friendly. The location is amazing with a hill view surrounded by a tea estate. Must stay if you are planning to visit wayanad and want to stay away from the busy city life.

πŸ‘ The highlight dish here is the pothum kaal, which was trending in social media. However, the thing we got had less meat and didn't have that bone marrow as seen in all vlogs. That was the only downside I felt because of expectations. Apart from that, the dish was delicious and it had a thick gravy....
