It's a lake made by the kings for storing water which is now dried and farming is done, it's only during rainy season it is worth visiting. Local crowd is not friendly, no shops and liquor stores nearby, couples are not encouraged

A good historic site to visit. Especially great during winter and rainy season. You should definitely visit this if going to alwar.

Due to scanty rainfall there is no water available in the lake.. it’s may month end the weather is so hot at their peak level temperature about 44Β° celsius… local residents are growing their crops in the lake area … Best time to visit the lake in the monsoon season

This lake should not be listed as tourist place. Just for the sake of name, this lake doesn't have water. Just a small water body in which animals are there

No water, no maintenance. Don't come here. Alwar administration don't know how to keep such invaluable assets maintained.

Quiet and serene place. The Jaisamand lake is close to the Siliserh Lake Palace. It used to the largest artificial lake in its time. It was apparently built to store water from the overflow of the Ruparel river, though it is quite dry these days and the water levels have receded due to the low rainfall. Nonetheless, the cenotaphs (chhatris) alongside the lake are a treat even today. There's one central one which is more artistic than the rest. One can only imagine that in the past, the royal family and their retinue sat safe in them to enjoy the rains every monsoon.
