We stayed at this accommodation. Which is self catering or you can choose to pay for breakfast /dinner . I have a big family and we stayed for 6days . We decided to go with self Catering. The hostel *It's good Standard *Very Clean *Friendly and Helpful staff *so many areas you can sit around to chill *Bbq onsite more than one. *massive foot ball pitch *corner store around 8 to 10 minutes walking *Bus stop around 8 to 10 minutes walking if you are to take a bus to see around *Givskud road is just across the road. *such a peaceful place if you enjoy peace and quiet the surrounding areas are so peaceful. * Hostel it does get busy and sometimes quiet but all people were just amazing. *

"hostel" so don't expect too much. Standard is basic, in particular we're disappointed by the very simple shower. Further, the common kitchen cleanliness is dependent on other guests. Let's just say we had better luck on our last visit. That said the place' location is perfect when visiting the zoo.

This hostel is very good. The room was spotless on arrival, and the beds are comfortable. The personnel are friendly and helpful, they go above what you'd expect at any other hostel. The room has 4 beds and a bathroom which is exclusively for that room. The only downside is that sleeping bags aren't allowed, but linen og towel can be rented for a nominal fee.

I liked this place. Good rooms and beds, quite, picturesque surroundings, in immediate proximity to Givskud Zoo, 40 minutes to Billund by public bus. Hosts and workers of the hostel are very nice people. A lot of tips, immediate aid if necessary, interesting guests. Price is also is an advantage. You can even get a discount if you find an appropriate offer on web-page. I've got one called "Stay 3 nights and pay for 2" for low season period! :) I would like to stay here again! You get what you pay for and nothing more. The location is good of you are planning on visiting the zoo. There is absolutely no service, but this keeps the prices low at least.

The location was right next to the zoo wich was great when visiting the good morning zoo program. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

Slept at the hostel. Clean bedsheets and kind personal at a reasonable price.

Very good hostel to stay for family visiting zoo. You could hear the elephants in the evening from your room. Nice breakfast available.

Good accomodation for a hostel. Well equipped kitchen, many rooms for kids, near to the zoo which is a big plus

Brilliant place, quiet and relaxing

Excellent value for the money, very clean, light room, spacious, very well equipped kitchen with everything one would imagine needed for preparing your own meal, three huge activity rooms for kids. The zoo is over the street, discount applies for guests of the hostel, one day ticket can be used during three days, so a great option to combine with Billund Lego visit with kids.

Nice hostel close to Givskud Zoo. Cheap and good place to stay the night.
