My family and I have taken part in multiple of their tours, hikes and other programs they have. We went on a mudflat hike and learned a lot of interesting things about its animals and ecosystem. We also went on a bunker tour and learned lots about the history of Rømø and we went fishing for shrimp as well. All the tour guides are really nice and well informed about the tours they do! The tours we’ve went on are mostly suitable for children because the guides always find ways to make their tours fun for the kids. All of these three tours are somewhat interactive… on the mudflat hike we got to try different types of edible plants and the kids on this tour got to hold the worms and other animals. While going fishing for the shrimps many people accidentally caught little fish, crabs and jellyfish which were later brought back into the ocean. The shrimp were then cooked after everyone was done catching them and whoever wanted to eat them could eat them. On the bunker tour we got to climb into a bunker and walk through another two bunkers. All in all the tours were all really fun and interesting!

Cosy museum with interesting facts on nature in Römö. Kind and helpful staff. Guided tours for grown-ups and hands-on for children. My kids enjoyed the crab tour on the beach.

Great for curious children and adults alike! We initially thought that only one room of artifacts would be seen quickly but our children (8 and 13) spent over an hour experimenting, reading and watching things and wanted to stay longer. Loads of fun facts made the experience extremely interesting and we'll most likely go back again when we're next on Rømø.

A very nice stop on your visit to Rømø. There is a lot of information about the nature om the island. For children there are lot of activities to do, for example you can make your own kite to use on the beach 🏖. The staff is very friendly and will make you feel very welcome.

A smaller museum explaining the history and nature of the small island of Rømø. The information in the museum is in Danish and German only. Wonderful outside areas with opportunities of eating your homemade lunch
