Death Valley - Great place in NCR to visit. preferebly visit in Group as some has reportedly been misbehaved by locals. Basically these are mines now naturally converted into lake n valleys. So Beware of deep water. πŸš΄πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Death Valley National Park offers a mesmerizing experience with a stunningly clear water lake. The vibrant blue water reflects the surrounding mountains, creating a sense of tranquility. Swimming in the pristine lake is a surreal experience, and the diverse wildlife adds to the beauty. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape. As I approached the lake, the first thing that struck me was the vibrant blue color of the water. It was incredibly clear, reflecting the surrounding mountains and sky. The serene beauty of the lake was awe-inspiring, creating a sense of tranquility and peace. Walking along the shore, I could see the intricate patterns and formations on the lakebed. The water was so transparent that I could observe the smallest pebbles and plants beneath the surface. It was a surreal experience to witness such pristine clarity in a natural setting. The lake provided a welcome respite from the scorching heat of Death Valley. The coolness of the water was refreshing, and I couldn't resist taking a dip. Swimming in the crystal-clear lake was a surreal experience, as if floating in a suspended oasis of tranquility. Exploring the surroundings, I discovered the diverse wildlife that thrived in this arid environment. Birds soared above the lake, and I caught glimpses of small fish swimming near the shore. The combination of the vibrant blue water, golden desert landscape, and the vivid wildlife created a breathtaking sight. Visiting this clear-water lake in Death Valley was an extraordinary experience that exceeded my expectations. It showcased the remarkable beauty and resilience of nature. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, this hidden gem is a must-visit destination.

Really dangerous place, snacthing is common here and place is very remote even police do not recommend to visit here. You have to track to this place because cars and bikes can't go to this place. This place is not a tourist spot this velley form due to stone mining.

The lake has apparently dried years (a decade?) ago. We were not successful in finding a way to enter the area. It's also not clear what its supposed to offer. Surely has conservation potential? The Haryana tourism board that runs hotels in the surrounding need to develop a more holistic approach that includes proper indications, environmental conservation and better urbanism in the surrounding area.

Faridabad's Death Valley is one of the only pristine wildlife ecosystems left in the city that offers people a comforting seclusion. Located in Surajkund, the valley is a collection of seven abandoned mines that are filled with natural crystal blue water. The lakes are the byproduct of many illegal mining operations that occurred here till 1991. Legend has it that the miners dug to such depths that that they touched groundwater and the areas surrounding the mines became natural lakes. Over the years, these lakes have claimed the lives of many visitors, thus earning the name- Death Valley. The serenity and solitude that Death Valley offers is indeed rare and addictive, especially in a fast-paced city like Delhi. It also offers the pleasure of seeing some endemic bird species and wildlife animals like deer, hyena, and blue bulls. It is a great place for a short hike with your friends on Sundays. Swimming in the lakes is now prohibited, but if you still wish to go ahead with it, do so with proper safety precautions while remaining wary of the locals.

Asola-Bhati Wildlife Sanctuary covering 32.71 km2 area on the Southern Delhi Ridge of Aravalli hill range on Delhi-Haryana border lies in Southern Delhi as well as northern parts of Faridabad and Gurugram districts of Haryana state. Biodiversity significance of Ridge lies in its merger with Indo-Gangetic plains, as it is the part of the Northern Aravalli leopard wildlife corridor, an important wildlife corridor which starts from the Sariska National Park in Rajasthan, passes through Nuh, Faridabad and Gurugram districts of Haryana and ends at Delhi Ridge. This protected area contains one of the last surviving remnants of Delhi Ridge hill range and its semi-arid forest habitat and its dependent wildlife. Once the whole Delhi Ridge was a forested area, but development has destroyed several parts of it. Historical place around sanctuary are Surajkund and Anangpur Dam (both in Haryana), Tughlaqabad Fort and Adilabad ruins (both in Delhi), Chhatarpur Temple (in Delhi). There are several dozen lakes formed in the abandoned open pit mines in and around the sanctuary. It is contiguous to the seasonal waterfalls in Pali-Dhuaj-Kot villages of Faridabad[4] and the sacred Mangar Bani.

We booked a Maldives vacation through Sofitel Cruise & Holiday. Our water villa at Siyam World Resort was amazing with a private pool and glass floors showing marine life. Snorkeling in the house reef and candlelight beach dinners were magical. Sofitel arranged an incredible vacation.
