Naneghat is one of the best place to visit during mansoon. It's an 2 hours Trek from vaishakhare village. Whole route is filled with greenery and water falls. Walking on flowing water with friends gives an immense pleasure during trek. Nice cave near the nane khind (top of the naneghat). Also, you can visit reverse waterfall to get chilling and thrilling experience. It's hardly 1 km from nane khind. Recommended to visit it with some kind of wind protector/cheater bcz of cold wind flows in reverse direction makes us chilled.

Please visit nane ghat was see how the mountains are carved to make a door way for trading in ancient times , there you will find a pot which was use to collect coins as a fee for trading in naneghat by our ancient peoples , and the coins are called नाणे in marathi so this place is called naneghat , Best time to visit is in monsoon where you will find best climate over here .

Naneghat is a ancient place from Satvaahan era. It has caves where the kings statues were carved but unfortunately they are not in existence now but there is text written in brahmi lipi inside caves. At the entrance of Naneghat there is big pot carved in stone. It is said that Naneghat used to be trade route. The people passing this route had to pay tax in form of coins. Coins means Nane in marathi that is how place got the name 'Naneghat' You can also visit reverse waterfall during monsoon season. The waterfall is around 1.5 km from Naneghat point.

Breathtaking views of the valleys around the peak of Naneghat. The Trek route is well marked with Arrow marks. It makes us think about the era when this route was in use for trade across regions. Best time to visit in monsoon and winter.

It's a major tourist place near Junnar. Here we get the best views of the Decan plateau. Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range between the Konkan coast and the ancient town of Junnar in the Deccan plateau. It was a part of an ancient trading route, and is famous for a major cave with Sanskrit inscriptions in Brahmi script and Middle Indo-Aryan dialect. These inscriptions have been dated between the 2nd and the 1st century BCE, and attributed to the Satavahana dynasty era. This narrow path between two hills is led to a vast green valley. During monsoon, the whole region is covered with a beautiful green lawn. Don't go there in summer- the region becomes a hot dessert.

Amazing place for star trailing late night... beautiful sunset if you reach on correct time Beautiful smooth roads from Pune for 3 hours of drive . One of the best place visit during monsoon near monsoon and Nagar. Family can directly reach at top by crossing Ghat. Weather was awesome. Greenery view from pick point is fabulous. Trek is quite exhaustive but should be experienced atleast once

I have reached the first Naneghat Trekking point on bike going from Badlapur. After 4 hour of trek I reached at top . Mesmerizing view you will definitely find after spree of rain. 2-3 small hotels are available but rate is higher than normal. 20rs water bottle will cost you 30rs. You can reach here by vehicle too but it takes more distance & time.
