Best coffee in Tokyo. Feels like we are in Surry Hills as soon as you walk in the door to Single O. Perfect place to chill and unwind

Coffee is great, as expected, staff is also really-really nice. It’s a good place to chill and enjoy coffee. The issue we had is that they were out of cold brew, so I took an Ice Americano for my husband. I asked if it was sour, they said no. Spoilers - espresso had expressive sourness 🤭 I mean the taste was exceptional, but my husband doesn’t like sourness in coffee, so he didn’t really enjoy it 🥲 The chunk of ice in the cup was so enormous, it made us laugh. The cup had only one hole right in the middle of the cap, (for a straw I presume), but there was no straw and the only way of drinking the coffee was straight from the cup, battling that huge chunk of ice 😂 …while driving Guys, get straws, please 🤭

Fantastic coffee, the people working there are so kind and explained everything in an easy-to-understand manner. I’d come back again. I got the coffee kombucha and I liked it so much I asked if it was for sale, and they told me the company they collaborated with would be selling it around January 2023.

What an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in a quiet residential area this is one of the coolest coffee spots I have visited. Great atmosphere, chill music, delicious coffee. A must visit.

Warehouse garage turned into Roaster & Brewing station. Australian-born Japanese barista is super friendly and brews a great cup. Great light roasts AND blends. First time in my life that I’ve tried an Ethiopian-Kenyan blend that is better than a single origin roast (Firecracker Sumida summer roast). Don’t forget to check out Leaves Roaster while you’re in the area!

This Sydney offshoot roasts and extract exceptional coffees very well, including an occasional cup of excellence, and serves them in relaxed surroundings in a completely residential neighborhood.

I think this Café has very good coffee. Also the barista are very kind and are happy to help. They have nice places to sit and the ac was just right. The location is very cool as they have a nice set up to look at the bar while enjoying the coffee. The coffee itself was nicely brewed and I think one of the best of sumida. Also you can check the roastery from here and buy some merch.

Very good coffee, they seem to be more knowledgable that my humble skills can appreciate, but loved it. Also they have a table outside which is very nice.

It feels exactly like walking into Surry Hills as you step into this shop with the chilled industrial vibe. The team here is very knowledgeable about coffee and take great care of their customers. Needless to say the coffee here is amazing and I love the La Minita Blend from Costs Rica.

Great atmosphere, with single origin coffee beans to choose from. Love the little flower arrangement on each table. Music sometimes gets a bit all over the place.

We had a wonderful time at Single O. It’s one of my favorite coffee spots in Tokyo. Nari was super kind to chat with and I learned a ton about coffee from him. He was so meticulous about the process from grounding, measuring, and timing. You will be amazed.

Hands down, best damn coffee I have ever had, and it’s right down the street from my house!

I enjoyed the coffee and experience at this café. It had an open layout, allowing me to sit at the counter while the barista prepared our coffee. During our conversation, I learned that he was a master of the AeroPress technique and took great care in brewing the coffee. The variety of coffee and beans available was impressive, making this my best Tokyo café experience.
