Just
slightly
off
a
main
street
sits
a
laid
back
coffee
bar
that
serves
espresso
with
a
punch.
A
few
seats,
a
couple
signature
coffee
options,
dorayaki
and
more.
This
self
proclaimed
"most
outrageous
coffee
shop
in
Japan"
can
be
your
pregame
or
after
for
your
epic
Tsukigi
excursion.
And
if
you
ask
me,
you
should
start
with
a
dose
of
magic.
Turning
in
from
the
noisy
street,
you
immediately
see
a
gigantic
monstera
in
front
of
the
shop.
The
shop
may
not
seem
large,
but
it's
packed
with
characters.
It
has
an
off
beat
industrial
aesthetic.
The
espresso
is
served
with
a
ring
of
dark
color
crema.
The
crema
is
incredibly
thick.
it
is,
for
sure,
a
more
developed
profile,
but
it's
not
your
regular
old
school
italiano.
The
first
sip
is
intense
with
a
lot
of
caramel,
dark
chocolate
characters,
but
then
it
progresses
to
a
much
more
balanced
and
sweet
finish
that
lingers.
The
seasonal
spiced
mocha
latte
has
the
most
perfect
ratio
of
warming
spices,
chocolate,
espresso
and
milk.
Not
overly
sweet
and
has
absolutely
no
hint
of
bitterness.
Can't
stop
at
their
Tokyo
store?
Apparently
they
have
other
stores
based
in
New
York
and
Los
Angeles.
