First off, I was very hesitant to stay here due to reviews on various websites but I’m so GLAD we did! We had a King bed suite with balcony facing the water and it was beautiful. Patio had two access points and it wrapped around the room. In other reviews people stated the hotel was very busy with cruise goers, but honestly it wasn’t too busy. The pool only had 1-2 other families and the only part that was slightly congested was Valet. But I would highly suggest not to do valet because the parking garage in same lot hooked onto World Trade Center is almost half the price and has plenty of parking. The customer service was phenomenal and the M Club was a great addition for snacks and drinks. The location was perfect with water for breathtaking views but also because it was walking distance to Pikes Place and Public Market. The only downfall is there’s not a hot tub, but other than that our stay was absolutely perfect. I actually enjoyed and fascinated with the daily parked cruise ship. The ship blocks part of your view but it’s still beautiful and super convenient. Plus you have wide open views of water from 530pm-530am. The hotel was very clean with the BEST water pressure ever and is managed well. Will definitely stay here in the future!

We were in town for a night and wanted to stay in a place that was walkable to things. This Marriott definitely fit the bill. Overall it was a good stay. Nothing spectacular but I wish they did a few things differently. First, the towels felt cheap. And no body lotion available. On the positive note, the shower water pressure was awesome and it was very clean with a nice partial view of the water. Valet parking overnight was $55 with unlimited in/out. Think that’s the going rate for Seattle but not sure. It was walkable to the Seattle great wheel, pikes market and lots of restaurants and shops nearby on the waterfront.

The service is super rude when checking in. My partner booked us a room and they would not let us check in when he hadn't arrived yet even when I had the confirmation, insisting that we call him up to verify that we are in fact staying in the room. It was late - did we really look like we were going to steal some random person's room reservation? Also they needed to check our IDs and take our card information when they had his on file - which I think is intrusive and just bizarre because we've never had an issue with any other Marriotts. The rooms are also really outdated - old wall paper, old carpet. The bathroom tile is also really slippery when wet in the bathroom so hopefully nobody trips on that. There were only two towels for the two of us - so we ended up using our wet towels constantly since they didn't dry. The walls are super thin and the air conditioning is exceptionally loud. There was some blood(?) on the door way trim in the bathroom. Your view will be blocked if there is a cruise ship docked. The concierge lobby has no services except for some snacks. The coffee tastes pretty burnt in there too. The hotel breakfast is at the Hook & Plow and is pretty good food if you manage to get a table. If there is a cruise ship at the pier, there will be a ridiculous amount of people waiting in line and you just won't get hotel breakfast unless you wait at least 30 minutes. It looked like they had the ability to serve food in the concierge lounge so I didn't understand why breakfast was not there instead to cater to hotel guests. Parking is $65 per day. The location is definitely ideal if you are going on a cruise at the pier, but otherwise, it's really not worth it to stay here.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel with such wonderful front desk staff! Tamara at the front desk was incredibly personable and fun to talk with! She gave us a fantastic breakfast recommendation for the next morning and also remembered to say happy birthday to my partner (we stayed at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront to celebrate the birthday) once we got back in for the evening. Tamara was very charming and VERY knowledgeable about the local area as well, she was a great resource for information for us and really went above and beyond to make us feel like the only guests in the hotel! She really made our stay brilliant and put a lot of effort into us in terms of her outstanding customer service! Immer the Valet was also incredibly nice, he was very nice and VERY fast! He certainly made us feel like VIPs when he brought the car around. I'd even recommend staying at this hotel just for the Valet!

We arrived early and started to get the run around of not being able to get in a room before check in time and the plane ride in was exhausting. Manager stepped in and hooked us up and got us in a room before 10am. Very grateful for that. Other services were mediocre. Asked twice to have our shower gel and conditioner bottle in the room to be re-filled and room service never came. In our opinion the rooms and pool were very small for such a huge hotel. The bath towels were like a Motel 6 towel. No microwave in the rooms was shocking. No way to heat up a late night snack unless you went all the way downstairs to lobby. I was told on our last night they have complementary microwaves at no charge. O well...didn't know. For a 4 star hotel, I just didn't get or see it being worth $360/night. The location was great. Very close to Pike Market. The scooter rentals were a great way to get around for places further away.

Came here for a B Day Trip!!! The views were breathe taking. We got to the hotel super early and was able to drop our bags off and go explore the town and eat!!! The lady at the front desk said they would call us when room was ready!!! When we finally checked in the guy was really informative and nice. The gym and pool was closed but we were informed that the Sheraton down the street would let us swim as long as we had our key cards. They were doing renovations next to the room we were in but again they informed us that if it was to loud they would move us. It got loud but during the times we were about to leave so that wasn't a big deal!!! The rooms here are beautiful 😍 and the service was A1. Loved the shower and the huge mirror in the room was very nice. Thank you sooo much for the awesome service!!!

We stayed at the Marriott Waterfront Seattle the night before heading out on cruise. The location is great! Walking distance from the market and a ton of downtown restaurants. The room was newly redone, at first glance it looked really nice, but the bones are still old and outdated. The finished were also cheap. Our bathroom light was on an automatic timer and it continuously turn off after 45 seconds. This is a safety hazard as it turned off while showering. All bathroom activities were done in the dark. The furnace door was unlatched and continuously vibrated and banged keeping us up all night the air condition unit is old and loud which also kept us up all night. The beds were hard and pillows had not fluff, very uncomfortable. For the price we spent it is definitely not worth it. While waiting in the lobby for our group, I learned I was not the only person that felt this way, many complaints within the 15 minutes I was there waiting. Definitely not worth the price. We will not return to this hotel.

You can't stay at better location than here. You walk right out of the hotel and across the street is the water. Truly loved the decor, which had an ocean meets jazz theme. The artwork was eye-catching, and inviting, making the lobby and lounge areas warm and inviting. My room was clean, cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable, with a soft pillowtop mattress, and soft pillows. I requested more decaf foe my room and they gave me extra. Appreciative of the staff for going above and beyond.

Great location! We chose a king with a view. We didn’t have a balcony, but nice view of Puget sound. This is a very clean hotel and looks new. Great showers with hot water, AC, comfortable beds, and plenty of room for us and our things. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked fabulous. We didn’t swim but the indoor/outdoor pool looked nice. A hot tub/spa would have been nice after a day of walking around town, but the hot shower sufficed! I would definitely stay here again. No street noise or ear plugs needed here.

August 2023: Stayed here for three nights from Thursday night to Sunday. Overall, was happy with my stay. I would consider staying here again. Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Like how they provide king size pillows on the king size bed. (Can't understand why some hotels give you the standard size pillows on a king bed.) Rooms are a good size. Cleanliness met expectations. Location was great. Short walking distance to Pike Place Market. Lots of food options nearby. Service was friendly. Gym was a decent size with lots of equipment and machines. Pool looked good. The lounge that was for platinum members and above had some okay snacks. Cons: The breakfast experience was very disappointing. We got seated on our first morning at this table that was tucked in a notch in the walls. There were plenty of tables by the window but the guy stuck us in this lousy spot. We waited about ten minutes and no one came to talk to us. No one offered coffee. We felt totally ignored. So we just left. I get that they were probably under staffed. But I didn't like how we were treated.

Overall, it was okay. They didn't have breakfast available in the lounge - annoying. No bathroom fans - annoying. It was a good location with nicely renovated rooms, and the employees were friendly, nice and helpful.

I recently stayed at the Seattle Marriottt Waterfront Hotel and was blown away by the breathtaking location and exceptional experience. Its unbeatable location within walking distance of Seattle's most iconic attractions makes it a must-stay for any visitor. The hotel offers stunning views of the harbor, where you can watch boats sail in and out, adding a touch of maritime charm to your stay. The dining options at the hotel are truly outstanding. From casual bites to fine dining experiences, there is something to satisfy every palate. The on-site restaurants serve delicious food with a vibrant ambiance, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The hotel staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. Their insightful recommendations and knowledge of the area enhanced my stay, making me feel welcomed and well cared for. In conclusion, the Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel provides an exceptional and unforgettable experience. Its phenomenal location, stunning harbor views, and excellent dining options make it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Seattle. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel truly captures the essence of the city.

I arrived tonight and Shaka, was awesome! Super accommodating, and gave us a room with a great view of the Sound. Really helpful and polite. Hotel is nice and the location is top tier. Recently remodeled and the smart tvs are great for the family. I definitely recommend stay here!

Great location! Stayed for 3 days and walked around the waterfront, aquarium, souvenir shopping, great wheel, etc. Pikes place is close about 1/4 mile (UPHILL) walk away. Nice view, room was clean and sheets & towels were bright white, bathroom looked new shower & water pressure (toilet too!) was perfect. Coffee in the lobby every morning & iced water in the afternoons took advantage of that before & after exploring. Housekeeping was fantastic and as we were leaving one morning asked if we wanted our room cleaned. We said yes and asked if we needed to remove the privacy sign... So we did, gave her a tip, and went on our way. Came back with our bed made, room cleaned, & fresh towels.

The place is nice but their drop off and pick up situation at their entrance is completely screwed up. Multiple times we were stuck unable to leave while unattended cars blocked our path. Tonight trying to drop off someone with mobility issues and the entire driveway was blocked with large vehicles to the extent I almost couldn't get off the main road. It was way too far for our person who has an ADA placard. Then I had to back out onto to main road since there was no way to go forward or even turn around. Completely unacceptable.

The parking garage closes at night and you can't get your car out until the next morning. They don't mention that at any time and don't offer any other parking except valet. The room we were in is next to the train tracks. It can get loud. Room quality is pretty nice and right on the pier so decent place.

Outstanding hotel with very friendly staff. The view from my room was amazing as well. My only complaint would be how loud the doors can be when shutting them. Which isn’t totally the hotels fault but people just not caring to close doors quietly in the early hours.

Had a room with a view (and a king size bed.) Clean and spacious. This hotel has any amenity you can ask for.. Right in the heart of Seattle. Walking distance (25 minutes or so) to the space Needle and Pike place. However you will be paying a premium for your stay.

Rooms are clean, prices are right, staff is professional, amenities are good, location is good. Hotel trains staff fantastically. This Marriott brand hotel punches well above its weight. It’s a large hotel but really does have the small touches I honestly wasn’t really expecting from this brand. Good stay.

Wonderful location and prompt service from the staff. I personally didn’t need much during my stay, but the cleaning crew was respectful of my items when they came to clean. During my stay, the road was partially closed, so it had limited traffic which made crossing much easier. Would recommend the hotel and location!

Check in was fast, my room has a beautiful water view- room is lovely. I came back after my conference and bought a bottle of wine for $19 that is actually good! I ordered a burger to go that they subbed my cheese preference and was both reasonably priced and also cooked perfectly! I was surprised with how they packed it for my room. A plus for the food and service! You should stay here!

Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Everyone here was so nice and the gave us free food for us to wait on our tinned to be cleaned. They have water bottles and guys who carry luggage for you! Roomed were clean and spacious and they have big TVs. Bathroom door slides open which is cool

Nice place. High end but honestly, not impressed. Barn door for bathroom doesn't cover the doorway. No bathroom nightlight but the sensor will turn on the lights even in the middle of the night if you go in. No one could tell us if the pillows were down or foam. My wife is allergic to down. The good, is that it's a short walk to the cruise terminal and the Space Needle. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but as expected, pricey.

I had an excellent time at this hotel, and they made my trip to Seattle great. Ellie and Jesse at the front desk were absolutely wonderful. They helped me with all my seattle needs, and listened to me and all my questions as it was my first time in the city. The chef concierge was also amazing! Jeff talked to me and listened to me for a very long time (as I was just too excited) and had excellent customer service skills. Definitely get his recommendations for restaurants, and have it reserved by him. Truly a great experience, with wonderful staff!

I had a wonderful experience at the lobby bar. I came in for a drink and a bite to eat, I had heard really good things about the award winning chowder. Hank and rob took great care of me at the bar, they were very amiable considering how busy it was. I initially was greeted by Jared, it was refreshing to see how well he interacted with the guest. Good service is few and far between.

I was bummed I didn’t get the king with the balcony as pictured, but their customer service at the front desk is like no other. Every person there was courteous and friendly. They went out of their way to help me find a box to ship a couple packages out. The valet guys were great and friendly! The food at the bar was good, and honestly on par in price as going to a restaurant. It’s a little tricky to get into and out, meaning the entrance is super tight, but highly recommended for solid customer service.

Everything about this hotel is perfect! I visited Seattle for a weekend and I struggled to leave the bed each morning! It was easily the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the location is wonderful, and the room was beyond excellent.

  • 2/5 M B. 2 years ago on Google
Didn’t quite meet the expectations and price point. The positives: location, location, location. Also the hotel has comfy beds, mostly clean, lovely lobby, common areas, restaurant. The negatives: broken tile in pool area, dark spots in the ceiling, walls (water damage?), generally run-down areas unexpected for the hotel of this level and price. The heating system was very loud, but that’s common in other hotels. When we were checking in we were asked if we need daily room cleaning we said yes, but our room wasn’t cleaned, no fresh towels, coffee until we asked two more times. Also, the longe was not open.

We came to stay at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront for my partner's birthday, and OH MY GOSH did the staff do a wonderful job at making that day special for us! Ellie at the front desk helped us out when we arrived early and gave us a call when the room was ready, as well as wished my partner a happy birthday without even being reminded or prompted, the next day, Ellie also gave us an umbrella because it was rainy and we forgot to bring ours, she was absolutely fantastic and really gave us outstanding customer service! She even asked us about how our dinner went the next morning when we were checking out! Ellie went above and beyond to make our stay brilliant and really ensured that our time at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront was memorable and special. I will not soon forget this trip, or how Ellie's hospitality made it the best trip we've been on! Moe, the Valet, also extended fantastic customer service to us, he was incredibly timely and polite. He stored our bags for us in the morning and was always quick, yet cautious when bringing my car around front. Thank you Moe, and thank you, Ellie!
