Very beautiful and serene area. The garden surrounding the temple is very well maintained and there are some stunning views of Kampala. Unfortunately the inside of the building was being renovated when I visited.

Interesting place. First I thought it was a church or chapel. I was visiting places in Kampala by VodaVoda and some one in the Kampala musium suggested me to visit Baha'i and Gaddafi Mosque. I found it's something different, not Christianity. There was a person who gave me a short demonstration about the place and the religion. It was built upon good portions of different relegation: Christianity, Islam etc. The place is nice. This is the only one in African continent, as they have one temple in each continent. Quite interesting!

Excellent example of Beautiful Temple, it's a very quiet place located in Kyabando near the mid of city with beautiful views, environmental, fresh flowers and good guides. Fully equipped with all the facilities like washrooms and a fabulous well maintained garden in front of the temple. We met there groups of people hosting picnics and birthdays. Ample parking place available. Must see if ever in Kyebando,Kampala..

Serene gardens, quiet, beautiful views, cool air, free parking. The place has a beautiful interior where you are taught more about the Baha'i faith. It is secure and open to all people. You can also go there to relax and read a book under the tree shade. It is easy to access when using private transport means as you use navigation and get there fast.

The only mother temple of the Bahai faith, very quite place to visit, a lot of information, beautiful gardens, lots of birds in the gardens (carry your binoculars just in case), great city views and very friendly guides. In case you’re planning on carrying your camera and lenses you need to inform the team on ground before your visit otherwise cameras are not allowed. After a long safari in Uganda, you can conclude its with it a holy visit to this beautiful temple. Note. Free Entry

It's a nice place and quiet but the staff is very rude and unnecessary to have they spoil the whole essence of the place and ruin the serenity and peace that the place provides. The staff there needs to be reduced or removed because they really have nothing positive that they add to the place

The right place to escape the noise of Kampala and take a walk in nature and have a chill time. The garden has a great view of the city and the entrance is free. You just have to register and show your ID. The temple has Sunday prayers: 45min, integrating prayers for different religions. Nevertheless, the Temple is always open for visits.

By far of the best worship places in the country. At the hilltop and has vast land with the lawn covering every inch and lawn is well kept too. Secure with a perimeter fence and it is open to all. If you're ever in the vicinity you should definitely take a tour.

It is free to visit. My friend and me had a really good guide, who explained all about the temple in detail. If you have nothing to do and you want to have a relaxed day, just to lay down on the meadow or read the book - then go there earlier and find your spot on the meadow in front. You can stay until 5pm. Very peaceful and clean place. P.S. This was my 3rd Bahai temple. :)

I didn't like the place They are trying to introduce you to this faith However a huge part of this faith is taken from Islam The first one who invented this faith was bahaallah and he took alot of Islam just to make himself as a prophet I hope the followers see the truth and be guided to the right faith

The Baháʼí Faith, or Bahaʼism, is a religion teaching the essential worth of all religions, and the unity and equality of all people. Established by Baháʼu'lláh in 1863, it initially grew in Persia and parts of the Middle East, where it has faced ongoing persecution since its inception. This place was built by the Persians and a new one also in the process of being setup in Matunda, Western Kenya.

When in Kampala, this is a must visit place. It is approx. 15min ride from the city. An uberX can charge you around 7-10k UGX depending from where you book it. The landscapes, trees, flowers, plants, the temple itself, is truly mesmerizing. I have seen people specially visiting Kampala just to be at this temple. Do take out sometime and be here for a couple of hours.

One of the quietest and cleanest places I have ever been with rich green grass surrounding the entire hill for great relaxation or reading and communication with God … there is a simple and beautiful flower garden at the very Temple entrance and inside the temple it’s smaller than it looks on the outside but it’s very quiet and relaxing inside. Plus they allow everyone of all religion to Enter:)

I went three Sundays for public service. Nice gardens, spotlessly clean and the only place in Kampala i saw butterflies (after one month's stay). Many families and almost 100% local people. All nine doors wide open and high on hill distanced from roads so it is quiet. Lovely choir, written program in English so you can understand the prayers. No sermon, no collection and no pressure. There is a discussion on the lawns afterwards if you wish to learn more.
