One of the most ambitious pleces in Kampala. Haute Italian cuisine. Delicious pasta and burgers. Excellent steaks. Large selection of cocktails and a huge selection of spirits. Nice atmosphere. Sometimes there are problems with parking. The restaurant has a shop for sausages, cheeses and groceries. Once we saw a cockroach in the washroom ( UPD: most of the expensive whiskeys were opened more then 6 months ago, so you can't enjoy the original taste. Couldn't recommend to try expensive alcohol in the restaurant.

Loved the atmosphere and I enjoyed the Cesar salad and pasta that I had but sadly didn’t try any of the bbq as I was quite full. We then went to the bar section which I enjoyed greatly. Love the selection of liquor and cocktails.

We had a wonderful experience at Cantine Divino in Kololo! The delicious exotic dishes on the menu must have added a unique touch to your dining experience. It sounds like the restaurant's executive ambiance also contributed to making our dinner memorable. My experience was a bitter sweet one. 1. There's ample parking space, with tight security. 👏 2. The overall ambience is beautiful. Clean toilets. However, the place is too dark for an individual like me, who loves well-lit places 😒 3. They have two static menus (food and drinks), with a variety of options to choose from. 4. The prices are a little higher than the normal range. 5. Food was very tasty. 6. Unfortunately, the entire experience was shuttered by the mosquitoes 😭. We were terribly bitten by mosquitoes throughout our stay. We were given a mosquito repellent that attracted more mosquitoes instead of repelling them. This place needs thorough fumigation. I recommend that one wears trousers and long sleeved tops to avaoid such a horrible experience. Overall, i would go back, only if the mosquito issue is resolved.

An actual steakhouse in Kampala.. they have the 5 cuts of gourmet steak, the T-bone steak. The place is located in a secure place and has ample parking space. The dishes have that special Italian touch and the menu is rich with Mediterranean and European cuisines. The quantity offered is worth the price and I recommend this place for all steak lovers. If your visiting Uganda, then this should be on your list of restaurants to try it.

Had the braised beef with gnocchi. I was in Italy a couple of months ago and the gnocchi here was better than any I had there. So light, they melted in my mouth! The beef was also excellent.

Lovely experience and setting. We went here for my birthday, and had appetizers and drinks. The cheese plate was comparable to European quality, seriously amazing. The waitress wasn't as well versed in what every cheese was, which dampened the experience a bit. Although we enjoyed guessing which cheese we had. Again, the food was European quality. Well, no surprise: best restaurant in Kampala. The French chef is an absolute artist. The Italian designer who created the place is another one. Eat high quality cuisine made as an art, among an environment that makes you feel almost in a museum.... or "somewhere else, in other times"... Our moment at Divino was not divino at all. We had been recommended this restaurant extensively so we definitely wanted to try it. My husband ordered ravioli (that were brought to the table without Parmesan cheese), and I ordered Beef Stroganoff. I got beef strips in mushroom sauce with a portion of tasteless white rice. Waiters are friendly and the place is very nice (we loved the rug cat!), but somebody has to audit the recipes that the Chef is sending to tables.

We eat here frequently and almost every time it is a 100% perfect experience. The staff are amazingly friendly. The steaks are excellent and the Italian food is great. They have very rich desserts. They also have the very expensive Japanese beef that is amazing! The burger costs 100K UGX so it isn’t cheap. The rest of the menu is fairly priced. This has been the best and most consistent restaurant we have been to.

Cantine DiVino has become a household name for me. From the best steak and grilled chicken to the best ambience. We did a birthday restaurant hopping spree and Cantine DiVino was our first one. Boy oh boy, everything was so perfect. Coming back soon for your tender T-bone steak.

This is a Wine Bar, which also serves some really superb food too. I had a Chef’s Special - Ravioli filled with Ricotta Cheese and Ham in a Creamy Basil Sauce. It was tasty and filling, as complimentary bread and oils were provided too! The service I received was fairly attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed as well. While the prices are high; the ambience, quality of service and food makes it a worthy sacrifice!

Customer service is disappointing. This place was high on my list of recommendations but I've now had 3 bad experiences and i think I've given it 3 chances too many. After having a problem with my meal that was not ready to my liking, and i did not eat it, i was asked to pay for the meal without any effort to make it work for me. When the head chef (Kenyan) came to find out the problem, he was so rude and condescending and created a scene, educating us about Italian food and how we don't understand it. No customer needs that. Generally they don't care so no need to go back there. This is the first negative review i have ever done for any place on Google so it should say something. I'll be happy to return when things get better. But for now, there are better Italian restaurants in Kampala with better food, better service and better prices.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with lots of charm. Prices are reasonable and the staff are accommodating and professional. Served in a long brown paper packet there are delicious small soft white rolls, slices of brown bread and breadsticks served with butter. If you like sweet wine I highly recommend a glass of The Four Cousins from South Africa. From the chef's menu there was a delicious 😋 fettuccine in a creamy asparagus and chicken sauce. And a must try if you enjoy salads was the roast chicken salad which included beans, potatoes and sun dried tomatoes. The Tiramisu is yummy too. Highly recommended

The food is soooo good. The flavour on their meats are so good! I had the lamb chops and my fiance had the pork ribs. Sooooo delicious I can't stop saying. The only down side for me were the cats. Cantine Divino is one of the places that my friends and I usually go. I love their ambience. Their furniture shops have all these antiques from Asia and Africa. It is quite cute. However, recently their food quality has dropped a bit. Ordered pasta, some were not cooked. Ordered medium well burgers, it was medium rare. The cheese board was not impressive enough. Hope the quality of food will be improved like the old times. The four stars give to the ambience and the furniture shop.

The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful gardens and the architecture and lighting makes you almost feel like you're in the forest rather than in the middle of the city. While we waited for all the guests to arrive we first went for pre-drinks - some coconut Waragi - at their bar. When it came to ordering dinner, I decided to go for the Sirloin steak (which was nicely prepared), however they also do have other dishes available if you don't want to go for a red meat dish. With my steak I got some mixed vegetables and a baked potato. The potato was a bit overcooked for my liking, so I recommend you rather go for one of the other options of sides. The waitress was also very friendly and helpful, so overall we had a very good evening.
