Good restaurant, with a plenty of choices. My vegetarian curry was very nice, excepted the carrots which weren’t cooked. I sent them back to the kitchen, they brought me other raw carrots… Too much sauce as well in my plate. But the taste is still very good ! The expresso was nice, served with a little biscuit and a glass of water. Perfect ! Concerning the service, it was ok but there are too many waiters, a part of them do nothing… The entrance door is always open. If you don’t want to feel the drafts, or see a delivery men every minute, settle in the back of the restaurant.

Visited Cafe Javas Bombo Road and was impressed once again! The menu remains consistently fantastic, offering a wide range of options. As a breakfast lover, I appreciate their emphasis on morning meals, and it's great to see plenty of vegetarian choices too. The tea and coffee selections are top-notch, and they also offer delicious juices. The small velvet parking with a few slots is a convenient touch. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal any time of day!

This is one of the best places I have ever enjoyed the most in Uganda. It is an international cafe to spend time and eat healthier! Birthday 🎊 songs and surprises and dating atmosphere is one of the reasons I can't visiting. It feels like a boss to be in this place.

This can be arguably the best brand in Kampala. They have the best burgers, pizzas and above all the juices and milkshakes. The milkshakes are thick and creamy. The pizzas are also fresh made, crispy and lip smacking. Everything is good about Cafe Javas except the pricing as the items are quite a bit overpriced, but the taste and quality tries to compromise that part.

Great ambience, great people, I really was ballistic as usual. The interior design is really worth every penny. On this day though, one of the waitresses was clearly tired n wasn't so friendly bit I cut her some slack, it was probably the heat n the over standing. Great service at CJ's as usual.

Café Javas is simply amazing. I especially like their consistency, across all locations. Their customer care is way above average, and their dishes are prepared with thevery best skill. Prices are a little bit high, but you'll definitely get your money's worth. Five stars deserving for sure.

Today CJ's was subpar. I had booked potatoes with grilled tilapia. The potatoes had a hard core, and the fish was burnt. Meanwhile the quantity of the meal was also wanting. I never come to bombo raid, preferring Kamwokya branch where I have never been disappointed. This could be a one off, but still disappointed that I had to pay $$$ for such a bad meal. The lemonade is still nice, and I like the ginger touch. I would still come back though, maybe the chef will be sober this time round.

Had lunch at the upstairs restaurant area. Was looking forward to be wowed by the experience there as I last visited in 2013. Well, I was not wowed. The gate keeper (lady) that met me at the entrance was cold.. maybe because I rode a motorcycle (?). I did get a parking spot though. The food.. had grilled tilapia and mashed potatoes.. not outstanding as I have tasted better. The ambience- was rather bland. Despite having a significant foliage of trees on the property, where we sat felt plain and "dry". The lady that attended to us won me over with her professionalism and courteous nature. Because of her, I scored an extra star. Out of 10, my experience was a flat 5.

While the food an Cafe Javas is excellent, this particular branch along Bombo Road has issues with finding parking space. The noise along Bombo Road and hooting by Boda Bodas make sitting outside quite uncomfortable. I would prefer other Cafe Java branches to this one.

A nice restaurant in Uganda for all your cuisine needs..The chain has several branches across Kla city..Bombo road,Bakuli,Nakawa,Lugogo bypass,Kamwokya etc..therefore you are catered for whichever part of Kampala you are...I particularly like the juices,carribean jack chicken,chicken pizza and the club sandwich...but there are many more delicious items on the menu...I imagine due to public demand, the car parking at the Bombo road branch may be a bit of a hustle especially during weekdays..Otherwise this does not seem as an issue at other branches..
