It is a good high end restaurant offering conference facilities, delicious meals, in a clean place with a good ambience. The services are fast and great. I have been here for meals at a different occasions but have never left disappointed. I attended a birthday party and it was really awesome here.

An oasis in Kampala, would revisit anytime. The food was great. Nice options on the menu. The ambience was great, good nature feel. The staff were helpful. There was ample parking inside the restaurant premises. Well done!

Thé place has a wonderful ambiance; greenery and setting. It’s quite a busy place and often has a lot of clients flowing in. The food tastes good although they could do better. Their cocktail juice is amazing. We had grilled chicken pork chops and fries; The only issue is with their service. It’s very relaxed and laid back. The waiters take a lot of time to attend to you. And then processing the orders also takes a lot of time. The menu was brought in at an untimely hour; we hadn’t called for it yet.

The services here are not comparable they are on point. The green environment to individuals like me who love nature is another reason to visit Piato. It's good for a date. Close to town but quite enough.

It a such a nice dining experience at this joint. The menu is diverse but mostly tailored on continental rather that local. Patio served with well garnished dishes and mouthwatering. And though the price was slightly on the upper side, the quantities were filling enough to even have some takeaway. I can't specifically choose a single best dish; however, their fish is one not to miss. The space was cozy enough for company and close enough for everyone to get around home on time. despite all the sweetness, i have to mention the limitations with parking and the fact that Patio is located on a one-way street, access can get a bit tricky.

The place is so beautiful, it's outdoors which are like. The food is fine. My only issue was the waiting for the food to be delivered, it's so slow, we waited for I can say one and half hours for our burgers to be delivered.

The restaurant is located off the Lumumba Avenue on the Nakasero Hill in Kampala next to the French embassy in Uganda. The restaurant is truly East African in it's menu offering. The place has a reasonable space for functions including birthday parties, wedding receptions, corporate functions etc. There's terrace seating in a somewhat naturally occurring vegetation setting. Limited parking space. Payments can be made by cash using mobile money, major cards etc. I highly recommend this restaurant

I had a wonderful dining experience at Piato restaurant. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and tropical, and the restaurant is impeccably clean and quiet. The lush green scenery surrounding the place adds to the serenity. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Plus, the ample parking space and secure environment made me feel at ease. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience!

A nice quiet cozy place in the middle of town. The food was really nice n quantities good. The oy problem is either the waiters are too slow or few and overwhelmed. The food took some time to come and picking the bill was a tag of war. We had to go look for a waiter to have our bill cleared. Other than that, the food was good.

Piato Piato Piato? I just like saying the name of this restaurant. I'm never disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered a curry goat dish and it was delicious. The meat was tender and the sauce spiced perfectly. My business colleague ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. That dish was made for an Ugandan palate. It was disappointing from an American standpoint. The reason I am giving Plato's 5-stars is for how they handled my complaint. The HEAD CHEF came out to our table based on my comment to the waiter. I mean this guy, I think his name is James really takes pride in his work and end product. I rarely get this kind of service and care in the US. Just for how well Plato's handled our complaint, I will come back and eat here again. Five stars for excellent customer service. ?

Piato restaurant is just a place to be located along Lumumba avenue next to the French Embassy with vast vegetation inside, nice furniture, great service providers and not forgetting great local and international dishes served respectively. It's so cool to meet in this place for group meetings.

Okay the food was no problem. I liked it and I've ordered cake from there too. My concern was that for the few times I was there the staff were slow. Claire was trying but still. I literally asked if my guest could get a bottled water but that never even arrived, then the waiter overcharged my card when I'd give. Him clear instructions on what to do. There's this other time both myself and my guest ordered the same thing and he only brought one as if I came to look at plants that day. So, the food is not the issue, the humans there need some morale boosting to do their work better. This is a follow up. My most recent experience was not good. Never go there when there are any sort of meetings being hosted. You basically become invisible.

Piato remains quite a unique place to hang out; with a green environment and a whole conforming view and scenery. A good place to make long lasting memories from. In terms of food, I've not seen any better place in Kampala

Had lunch at the upstairs restaurant area. Was looking forward to be wowed by the experience there as I last visited in 2013. Well, I was not wowed. The gate keeper (lady) that met me at the entrance was cold.. maybe because I rode a motorcycle (?). I did get a parking spot though. The food.. had grilled tilapia and mashed potatoes.. not outstanding as I have tasted better. The ambience- was rather bland. Despite having a significant foliage of trees on the property, where we sat felt plain and "dry". The lady that attended to us won me over with her professionalism and courteous nature. Because of her, I scored an extra star. Out of 10, my experience was a flat 5.

First and last: Three star due to it's ambiance only otherwise food was not up to mark. You can say it was Average. Price which you will pay for food it's quantity will not justify it. I ordered chicken & egg fried rice which costs around 22,000 UGX but salt was distributed improperly, Chicken was having different salt taste, Egg was having different salt taste and rice was having another level of salt. Better search for another option

Great ambience, they seem to have ample packing but don't take your 100 strong car happy wedding guests there... I don't think they can support them. The toilets were clean though you could not change a diaper in the ones used at the hall I was in. The fact that I had their kachumbari and did not fall sick is an added bonus. I first visited Piato in 2013. It had and has always had a calm ambiance. Very soothing music and sometimes even live bands are available. The food is great, the waiting time for a meal is also good we didn't have to wait longer than 15mins. The menu is very diverse. Its definitely a good place for family a birthday party a small gathering and even a cosy get together with a loved one. The memories I've made from this place are more than I can remember. The prices are a bit high and on average a meal is about 25000shs. But nevertheless withevery penny.

We held my friends engagement party there Everything was fine and arrangements were great too because 1. It was my first time there so I didn't know where to..... I was ushered in by a waiter who welcomed me in and politely asked me about what sitting arrangement I would like.. With a smile I gladly told him I was there for an engagement party ..... So he asked me to follow him to the place where the engagement was ... So yes they have good welcoming service and their employees are polite 2. When I finally settled in ..... I asked for the menu and vola......it was exquisite and had amazing dishes .....by the way I arrived and hour before the party so I would enjoy the place before the actual event started... So I ordered an ice cream first ...cause yes I love ice cream..... their berry ice cream was okay.....and melted on my tongue bringing back good memories 3. I went ahead and ordered for some food which was also mouth watering with it's aroma and tingling scent .... With that I had a glass of juice too...which consisted of natural juices ........ By the time I was done with the meal..... My belly was cram ling for more n more Anyways time for the main event arrived and we prepared the surprise for my girl. One thing that I didn't like was the music that kept playing even when we requested for the volume to be reduced ......and the place was hot....the fans where not working Everything else was fun.....
