Right from the entrance,the security team is a bit thorough with their checking. There's ample parking space( parking at owner's risk). However,if you don't know the particular place you are going to for example Nile hall, there aren't ushers to show you unless you look for them. The place is serene and is good for parties, meetings, conferences, accommodation!. The food is served(at least the local food I asked for😂). The dessert is rather disappointing but can be improved upon. The prices are rather affordable. The waiters and waitresses are polite. And most importantly,the washrooms are well maintained. But I would recommend it especially for a wedding (spacious halls). Definitely worth a try🎉.

Average place to attend seminars. Parking availability seemed to be ok. After entering from the building from the rear parking lot, had to walk all the way to the front to be directed where individual seminars were.

The service is professional and of the best quality. The staff are cordial and friendly, there is someone specifically for customer relations. Who pays attention in detail of the customer experience. Quiet place with good sceneries of the Golf course and other neighbours. The price is worthy the service you get in return. I keep going back and I have refered several friends, none has regreted and they to recommend to their besties.

This hotel is a favorite for many to hold functions and conferences. On this day of 22/10/2022 there were 3 wedding ceremonies in different halls. There was still room for another function if one needed- the swimming pool side. And they are on top of delicious mouth watering meals with deserts. But are strict with number of guests. Don't put surplus unless by special arrangements.

Thieves and criminals. DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL ROB YOU OF YOUR VALUABLES My girlfriend had her phone stolen at a work conference, by hotel staff. She set it down for 2 minutes during the event and a staff member snatched it. The manager refused to look at the cameras, deflected and delayed at all costs, and generally covered up for her corrupt and thieving staff. The whole staff in undoubtedly stealing constantly and covering up for each other! If you want to lose your valuables in addition to wasting your time and money on a terrible hotel, then stay here!

Hotel Africana was beautiful when I visited a few days ago. I was however intrigued by their tiny juice glasses. They are so small, you'd think you are drinking a dose of dome medicine whereby drinking more than thst could an overdose. People know how to be economical as they maximise on earnings.

Great place. The conference rooms are cool and the lounge is also adorable. I personally liked the lounge, the seats are well spaced and you can just sit by yourself and enjoy the peace. There is no noise. But the conference hall we used - mabirizi complex had a leaking roof. Water was really pouring in while we were in the meeting... I believe that should have been fixed by now.

Stayed a couple of nights. Good service and friendly staff. Know what you're paying for before arrival or you might be charged again for stuff included on your deal. I paid for 1 room for 2 but spent enough time explaining my wife was included in the deal and had paid to include breakfast. It took ages for them to admit yet it was right there in the system and on my email booking confirmation.

It's a best center for physical conference hosting ... I believe that for all the years I have engaged with the Africana Hotel. Good motorist parking. Welcoming security officers, to receptionists. But not sure about their internet security .. #IOTs , WiFi... I wouldn't recommend open WiFi in this error of cyber insecurities especially to this 5star hotel. Unless otherwise there are measures and guidelines about that.

African is a great place for conferences and seminars but not good for sleeping even if the rooms are great. There is usually a lot of noise in the night. So those seeking a quiet place will leave disappointed.

The hotel is located in a good area, good amenities (Gym, Sauna) and good food, however, I experienced the worst customer relations with the management. First, we were a team staying at the hotel. We booked for transport to be picked from the Airport and the hotel charged us per head and an exorbitant $45 per head instead of per trip. We raised an issue with the management and they completely failed to first meet us and find an amicable way to resolve this.

The place could have been better because it's ambiance is very good but the food was a bit disappointing 😕 😔... I ate Chicken Pollo pizza but the lack in of enough chicken toppings were overly compensated for by cheese and other vegetables. The salt was too much. The hotel's location is very ideal and i must say it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished with a blend of Modern and Traditonal african decor. The spa and pool area were quite relaxing and the service very exceptional . I really look forward to another stay on my next visit to Kampala.
