The resort is too awesome... The view was too good and the facilities provided are worthy... Swimming pool is also good but closed at 5.30 and after that allowed for only person who are there in room... It's little bit on slope but Ambience and facilities are good....

Nice food is offered...not to mention the customer care!! Besides there is that nice view you're are looking for😏😏...Did I mention the clean toilets bro!!! Go check 'em Yeah truly there prices are friendly!! Man no one should really miss out on this cool place

The place has a good view and some good food, that's it. Not very clean, extremely boring - absolutely nothing to do there except eat and swim at the pool. However, the pool and restaurant are open for everyone, so it's packed almost all the time with people outside the hotel. Food could take an hour to get because of all of the people from outside. It does not feel like you are in a hotel. Also, the place is like a construction site - people working everywhere, even at the pool. And do expect big parties or ceremonies right outside your hotel room. The price is extreme for what you get. Stay clear.

Had the best experience. Best new place around town. Best and quick services. Polite customer service and the cleanest. I will make sure to go there again and again. Perfect hangout with friends and family.

Cassia Lodge is a place to be, with a clear view of lake Victoria, service is super,cool place away for the noises, the staff are very hospitable, smart professional the restaurant and bar is mmmmhhh so beautiful plus the view added on the menu this is I will come Back always.

Cassia lodge has a great view ,the food was amazing and the staff was very welcoming.I think it is a little expensive for a night but still a pleasant place to stay.

I had a very good feeling about this place until i went for dinner 3 days ago we sat they took our orders after 30 minutes they came and told us that they had closed , so this place doesnt take food orders after 10pm and if they do at any time you should be willing to wait for 20 minutes its a turn off for me and my friends besides the good location your services are really lacking

Serene environment, Swimming pool,great food,great service delivery. Located in buziga,this place can be good for out door activities like small parties,meetings, birthdays, dinner,lunch,list is endless. The rooms are excellent and well serviced.They do have a magnificent view that will have your eyeballs pop out of their sockets.It is a must see view.Accomodation is the high side.Given the location,facility and services availed,pricing is worth it.

On 9 January 2024, I paid a visit to Cassia Lodge. I wanted to have one more real enjoyment moment because I will be leaving Kampala in a few days. I wanted to order cappuccino and lunch with apple pie for dessert. However, things turned out differently. I sat upstairs on the terrace in the corner with the nice view but unfortunately 2 women came and sat close to me there, talking too loud for me. So I decided to move downstairs to sit in the garden. I sat there for less than 5 minutes when those 2 women also happened to sit there. I returned back to the terrace on the 1st floor and told the guy who was behind the entry system near the coffee machine that I wanted to sit in a quiet place where I would not be disturbed by loud conversations of other customers. Unfortunately, he then tried to force me to sit in a place where I did not want to sit and where I could not enjoy the view. I eventually walked away and decided to take a seat on the other corner of the terrace then because it was somehow quiet there. In the meantime, I had ordered for cappuccino and spaghetti bolognese. They served me the cappuccino. Soon after, they suddenly served me the spaghetti bolognese as well. When I started eating the spaghetti bolognese, I tasted that the spaghetti had not been cooked long enough. It was cooked 'al dente' but I would like it 'well cooked'. After all, I don't like al dente. When the waiter asked me how the spaghetti was, I told him the spaghetti was al dente and that I did not like it and could not enjoy my lunch. The waiter did not take my dish away. After eating my lunch, I decided to leave because this was just really not a nice time at Cassia Lodge. I still talked to the manager or supervisor but he refused to give me a discount and just kept saying 'I'm sorry, next time it will be better'. I told him that I was leaving Kampala in a few days and that I came just this time to have a good time. But he kept repeating 'I'm sorry, next time it will be better'. Those words were of no use to me. I asked if there was another manager but they said there was none. So I decided to go to the reception. I asked if the owner Johan van Hecke was there, but he wasn't, they said. At the reception I told them about what I just wrote above. They said 'we'll fix it for you'. I waited at reception for a while. Then the boy at reception came to me and said he had talked to the staff upstairs. I thought 'what good is that if this is the last time I can come here?' Even the boy at the reception kept saying 'next time it will be better' several times. No one listened to me when I said I was leaving Kampala in a few days and could not come to Cassia Lodge. In the end, I just had to pay full price and did not get a discount on the spaghetti which I did not like.THIS WAS REALLY NOT NICE!!!

Cassia is located on top of a hill and has the most amazing view of munyonyo you'll ever see. The food is delicious and the portions are huge which I think is just a Ugandan thing.

Over looking lake Victoria atop Buziga hill, Cassia lodge has a view to die for. This is easily one of the best views overlooking the biggest fresh water lake in Africa. Situated in a quiet upscale neighborhood the hotel offers a serine gateway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kampala.

The views of the surroundings including the lake is breath taking. It has an African touch at the same time. Very gd swimming pool too. The environment is quite n serene. The prices are affordable.

Food was nice nice 😊 but my cassia club sandwich came late. The pool 🏊‍♂️ looked clean 🧼 and staff where friendly the view from the restaurant bar is awesome 😎

The low down is the poor WiFi service in our room, we had to go outside at the bar to get good connectivity. The TV is useless because it's controlled and there is no DSTV for soccer channels.

Basic western fair but with an amazing view of the lake. If you haven’t seen the city and shores of Lake Victoria from up high this is the spot to go for a meal and a drink. The view is better than the food, but that could just be due to the pandemic and lockdown. I’d love to try the spot again when things are back to normal.

It was great venue for my birthday lunch. We sat in the gardens and enjoyed all that space to us. Not far from the swimming pool. I ate a plateful and more. And the scenic view of Lake Victoria and Kampala, makes it a special place...

We were there for drinking coffee however we came back empty hands. (the coffee machine was broken) but, the place has a very nice view.

No place beats Cassia Lodge when it comes to views of Kampala suburbs and lake Victoria, it's a million$$ view I have been here for weddings and photo shoots several times since 2014 and the consistency in service delivery is what makes me come back. There is a good space for outdoor events for about 150-200 people, a swimming pool, accommodation and meals

Cassia is the best lodge out off Kampala so far. It has the best view of Kampala city and it's neighborhood. And has very beautiful rooms and environment. Has a swimming pool and seems to be attracting a lot of people because of its location and good hospitality.

Worst experience for Valentines day dinner. We arrived at 7pm. We waited until 10pm for food to be served. Service was not what we expected it was so dissapointing. But its a great place with a good view.

I definitely wouldn't describe it as an artificial place ,it is sooo calm and relaxing most especially if you need a quiet place to work or study. I had taken a while eating from there but I noticed more flavor in the food than in the past. You can a clear view of the lake and the breeze is so refreshing as one who loves the outdoors it's so stunning.

It's excellent for an afternoon late lunch, dinner. My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch and drinks! Excellent view, and also to top it up, there were monkeys in the area! overall, great view!!

Hands down the biggest selling point of Cassia Lodge is the breathtaking view of the Lake Nalubaale (Victoria) from the Upper Terrace. Service at the restaurant is good; food is average. I'd go here for an evening meetup drinks & light snacks with a view of the lake; not a full meal

The parking lot is quite small for a huge function but they have a very beautiful view of Kampala from their restaurant's balcony.

Splendid view of the lake and bunga hill, very good customer . Place is clean with a vintage touch in the lobby, with leather covered chairs. There's even a leather chest.. I love it

Friendly owner Cassia lodge needs to improve 1. Too distant in their professionalism: be a tad bit more friendly without compromising on the professionalism. 2. The price tag is high: either lower the price or add value somehow. 3. Provide better priced shuttle services particularly for foreign guests.
