Busy supermarket along down town of Kampala city.its a complex supermarket and holds a place in one of the biggest shopping center in the country. The place is well stocked with variety of items from food stuffs to clothing and home appliances. The place is managed by a number of staffs working in the supermarket and it has got a number of cameras around the place which implies that the security of the place is well managed.

Extremely great shopping area. Most of the commodities are pocket friendly. Had a chance to sample food at the opposite food court that is located within the shopping area and was literally blown away. The food quality and quantity was great. Extremely delicious. Mega supermarket is the best place in town to do shopping on your way from work to home cause it’s next to one of Kampala’s old taxi park. It’s easy walk-in do all your shopping then head to the taxi park where your destined home taxi’s are parked. Very organized and well stocked.

Absolutely massive supermarket with pretty much any product you could want. It has a particularly fantastic grocery section with very reasonably priced food and beverages, from Ugandan staples to international/Western specialties.

So today I walk into the supermarket I have chocolate in my purse and of course there are people checking at the entrance and I ask her “and this” and she’s like no it’s okay. After paying for my groceries, the guy on the machine that checks bags is like give me that chocolate it’s not yours And they bring in the security long story short they wasted a lot of my time. Mega Given that u have many cameras and many machines, make them work u should be able to tell what is yours and not yours and also tell your staff to be clear and precise. Let them communicate if they can’t write the notices so that we read for ourselves this this and this instead of humiliating customers and taking their time. I bring the money I expect to get the services. A change will be appreciated.

Large supermarket with millions of items to pick from in the different categories. Skin care products, dog care products, a bakery, foods, the list is endless. The supermarket is located in the centre of town just next to the old taxi park and also next to clock tower. Very good shopping spot.

Very rude female cashiers. The men that keep your luggage when you enter are nice [thus the extra star]. Capital shoppers is cheaper and has mobile money pay.

Mega Supermarket is a great one stop shopping mall Almost all the basic stuff you can think about with ranging prices

If you are a frustrated foreigner in this country, then this place is your last hope. All commodities you need are very cheap and if you lack where to take rest while waiting for someone, it is a very safe place to wait in. The class of people that be seated near you are quit pleasing to make yourself feel at home. To say more, the forex exchange offices are also there if you need to exchange your money to non fake Ugandan currency too.

It was a best experience for coz I visited the bakery and I brought the rock ban Cooky's and the fired chicken and speaking of which they have got the best chicken so far compared to those supermarkets have visted

Too many street venders around the main mall and it makes one feel insecure. The whole building main shade is filled with venders of gotv and others so it looks fake

Sell a wide variety of goods have different floors for different things appliances, food stuff, homecare, clothes, luggage and so much more if you don't find exactly what you are lookinh for atleast you can find a substitute.

Well the prices are affordable, they have good security. I would prefer to go to Mega and shop for some stuff at times that going in the big local Kikuubo market.

I went there looking for art supplies. Though they don't have everything since its not an art store but it had almost all. P.s for calligraphers there are no flexible brush pens

Under some sort of renovation works which has caused some sort of confusion 😕 around the area and here has the worst pickpockets/thugs ever who prey on women broad day light. They claim to know you and then after claiming you robbed them in the process start taking out your stuff from the bag.

I bought the most expensive flask in mega standard metallic one, I got disappointed ☹️ not even a week the flask can’t keep hot tea for 1 hour . Am expecting the highest quality at mega and at the same time since I paid for the most expensive one. All the staff in that section told me it’s the best ever and I had to pay for it. Could you please refund or replace with the better one . Let me know when I should come ,with receipt for replacement.

Has a variety of products. Strategically located. The brown bread there, is really good. Not the best during rush hour and back to school season because the lines are usually long. But this is just seasonal.during such times be patient. Some of the ladies working at the counters are really rude and I know the super market can do more staff trainings on customer care.

Well situated between the downtown and uptown shoppers. Good access to the public taxis and taxi motorcycles (boda bodas). But there is much congestion that posses a risk of thieves (bags and phones snatchers).
