The Surgery Uganda is my go to place for different vaccination services. When I first visited it for a Yellow Fever Vaccination, I was treated professionally. Time management, patient care and safety were all well addressed. No wonder their Vaccination Card is most trusted by the different embassies in Uganda. Since then, I have referred very many of my friends traveling out of Uganda who lacked Yellow Fever Vaccination Card to visit the Surgery. They have each been been served professionally.

Incredibly slow services. 2-3 hour waiting period for basic test that takes seconds to administer and minutes to get results. Lack of social distance. Head doctor does not wear a mask. Attitude of staff is lack luster at best neglectful on average. Would not recommend it unless you have no other option. Also expensive.

Third time in a row : I come early, wait over an hour and I have to leave, without having seen a doctor. Staff tells me doctors are busy but I am the ONLY patient in the clinic. Learnt my lesson this time.

Good and fast service, but considering what the fees are, it is just not understandable how washrooms are permanently left without soap or possibilities to dry hands. When asking staff, they just don't care. That's quite unprofessional.

They have some of the best service in Kampala that I have known plus a great children’s treatment. They don’t give kids drugs unnecessarily compared to others. Thanks surgery, my children are healthy and so is the whole family

One of the worst hospital I have ever seen in my entire life, the service is worse than the government hospital. Receptionists have no clue first she said there is only DR. Stockley then after waiting for 1hr 30mins with an unbearable pain and fever she asks me do you want to see another doc, what does it mean, why did she lie in the first place then. Anyway I would give dumbest star for this hospital. If you are serious about your life think seriously before visiting SURGERY

What would we do without The Surgery? A trusted place to go when you feel like Uganda's bugs have got the better of you. There's even an Endiro in the waiting area for a nice cup of coffee, if you are feeling up to it. As with any clinic, there are doctors that people prefer to see, or rate higher, but the standard is high here. Prepare to give various samples, it almost doesn't matter what's wrong with you, some bodily fluids will probably be required. Dr Stockly has a unique bedside manner - ask for him to experience the charm!

I ordered an important blood test and I was willing to wait two weeks for the results. After two weeks I called for my results. They replied “sorry, we didn’t send the blood”. When asked why they didn’t contact the patient they said “sorry”. I here this happens a lot. People need a place where people actually care. Especially when they pay top money.

Good for non-critical services such as lab tests. Try to go during off-peak hours. I visited on a weekday evening and was served quite quickly. Reception area is pleasant and they accept card payments readily. I can't say much for doctor availability though - that seems to be a critical issue in a lot of the other reviews.

I request people not to follow if they see foreigners in a hospital, most of them are kicked out from their hometown.. I was once a patient in this useless place, both gasterologist and MD (so called) were just like aliens to me or vice versa, didn't know what they were treating me for, MD ended up showing me pictures on his system that I have some specific worms... I had to fly back to muindi land just to know I have had liver fatigue...
