We got chance to have dinner there. It is stunning place specially the view from lake side.. amazing!!! What a natural beauty Uganda has♥️♥️. Sitting arrangement was pretty trendy. It was crowded. Food was bit expensive and had gotten small portions as compare to the charges. But no doubt delicious 😋 . Half of the food was Indian. Boating and Lake view was only for those who stay in thier resorts not for us😪😪. Over all neat,clean and clam place to have some good time there.

For a resort experience, the crowds and congestion at this hotel won't even matter. From horseback riding and boat rides to a mirage of multicultural dress code, you will surely be mesmerised. The foods are descent with diverse menu items and all-you-can-drink beers getting your groove on. It is a place to visit and spend a night if you only have a weekend around Kampala. Very classy, definitely high-end, and with a considerably higher price tag.

I love Speke resort, I’ve only stayed a few times, but often go for food and use the gym and swim. 40k ugx is well worth it if your spending the full day there. Rooms a beautiful, with clean clear air coming in from the lake, it’s a nice little get away from the city. Only down side to this hotel is the food it’s not 5 star and overpriced. Everything else is top notch, amazing pictures especially on a beautiful sunny day.

This is another top-tier resort in Uganda. I actually believe this one might be just a bit better than the other but the food the location the service just everything is very well done. If you have a chance, take the opportunity to walk along the Lake Victoria, and just bask in its beauty. One of the biggest lakes in the world, and in Africa. They take very good care of this hotel. Anything I needed they brought to me quickly and I felt very safe here.

Nestled by Lake Victoria, the refreshing air and lush tropical surroundings set the perfect backdrop. The well-manicured green grass adds to the charm. The culinary delights, featuring a blend of international and local cuisines, were a treat for the taste buds. The swimming pool surpassed all expectations, and it's undoubtedly the best spot for kids to play. Highly recommended for international visitors, weekend family getaways, and memorable events like weddings and parties. An exceptional destination both indoors and outdoors.

Great location by the lake, very tropical, nice and green with lush flowers and plants all around. Good food at the restaurant or room service, including many local options. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Pretty large property, with lots of space to host events, many lawns etc. Room was large, comfortable and had good temperature control, plus mosquito netting over the bed.

One of the best place for your leisure time, to enjoy with family, friends. Also, nice for business meetings. Many activities are there to do like swimming, horse riding, boating, fishing, playground and many more. Good place to do parties, wedding etc.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and scenic. Lovely view of the lake. Very slow service from waiters, you're lucky if the waiter comes back to you when you place an order - this really needs to be improved. Service at reception has a 15 min waiting time. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity - it's choppy and there are too many dead zones. Go to relax not work otherwise you'll be frustrated with the slow pace

Take me out on a dinner date, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort! The average Ugandan’s heart will skip a beat on hearing that. Relax, the meals are sumptuous, the service pampering, and of course what you want to know very pocket friendly. If you really want to make a date statement that will last awhile, you should never hesitate to respond to that request in the affirmative. 😉 Caution: Just don’t trust the call in reservation service, it might disappoint you too.

Was hosted for the India day celebrations. Large venue with a huge capacity. Lovely view of the lake. Service is good.

Comfortable with natural environment. Good services are provided. It's a good place for conferences with many conference rooms.. Quite place good for refreshments.

The Viking bar is just that a bar. Not a bar and grill or resto pub as it should be. Great place for a drink, horrible place for a bite to eat. The owners should consider adding burgers and pizzas to the menu to offer something more substantial. It could be a great place for locals to gather and eat, not just hotel guests looking to binge drink.

The pool guy on the childrens pool is very money hungry. On 8/26/23 he wanted to get more money from us for each child even after we paid at the entrance for swimming. It was a turn off . Even toward the end of the day , he wouldn't leave us alone until i gave him a dollar for doing nothing for us. Total turn off of this high end place . Service would be a 4.8 but the pool guy makes it a 3 .

It's a nice place with flash air from lake Victoria. Beautiful gardens, nice gym and swimming pool. The security is also good and food is so delicious!

I usually love the pool here, but there is currently a huge construction project right next to the pool, overlooking the pool area. The baby pool was very dirty. I recommend skipping until the construction is finished.

I am giving 3 star for services because of the way we were treated on arrival to the hotel. The attendant had our information and rooms were already allocated to us, but for reasons known to him he asked us to fill forms and just behaved like he didn't have our information at all, not until the person who did the booking for us was called because the attendant was wasting our time, and this was around 3am.

Munyonyo is a 5 star hotel with nice scenery,beach experience of boat ride,picnics horse riding and spaces for professional conferences and meetings with a well furnished rooms for accommodation and a standard restaurant with all cuisine .

It's a fancy place for the area, with a lot of space to have fun and activities to do. The park is nice and the view of the lake is pretty. It's better not to swim, but it's not their fault it's because of the pollution. There are different restaurants, fancy or easy going. Both serve good meals. Sometimes there is even entertainment in the garden

Directly situated at an angle where you see the upscale locals commuting about their duties as well as seeing the dares-alaam bound ships docking at potbel. I can't forget to mention the cool breeze that greets you all day through... So amazing.

This resort is the best in the town. They follow Covid19 measures. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. The room was clean and the service is excellent ! We enjoyed relaxing in this resort after a long trip in Uganda safaris. Also, it has many facilities, sauna, gym and two swimming pools.

I was sick prior to going to the hotel and as soon as I needed the staff were there to assist me as much as they could. The chef prepared me a dish according to my standards due to my sickness (it was scrumptious by the way) and the staff notified a doctor who arrived in my room with all the necessary equipment in less than half an hour. The breakfast has a nice variety of choices and the environment is beautiful and relaxing. This hotel has really high standards and is definitely one of the best I've been so far.

Sunday is band day💃 very amazing. I just found it weird that they collect entrance fee of 5000 on the weekends. Id been there a couple of times before and there was no entrance fee. Food taste is average nothing special or woow. The main restaurant has prices exclusive of VAT and service charge. But it has beautiful scenery of-course.

Awesome staff. As with other Ugandan resorts I've visited I found the Ugandan people to be the politest and most sincere in the world. When you have people of this caliber what could possibly go wrong? Fantastic experience!

What a gem on a the shores of Lake Victoria. Uganda 🇺🇬 has a lot of exotic places at a very reasonable price. Please market these places to South African. I will do my part. Came here for my birthday (31 July....) and everything is just wow, from the countless facilities, friendliness, respect, humility, dedication, hardwork and an excellent service (all great attributes of Ugan people) and excellent team at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort. I love this country.

Food was delicious with variety..it was a wedding style buffet and it didn't disappoint right up to dessert and barbeque. Rooms were serene, cozy and location very quiet and calming.

It's very beautiful and has many activities available for both children and adults ie swimming, boat rides, bouncing castles etc. The food tastes absolutely heavenly. I had a chance to go to the spa with my mom and sister for pedicures and manicures and staff was very professional. The only bad experience I had was that for the first time in Uganda I experienced xenophobia; the wait stuff ignored us when we went for dinner, the waitress offered seating space to the white couple that entered after us and we sat for an hour without being attended to. During the weekend one needs to pay at the entrance before he/she is allowed entry.

The food was fresh and tasty. After eating i took a 30mins walk around the resort and noticed that despite the years its been in existence its still as good as new. Clean and clean. I loved the pool eb the gym. Everything is on point

It's such an amazing place ofcourse having a great lake view and the rooms are wonderful. It is abit pricy for some of us but you can truly say you get what you paid for. Great security and service from those attending to you.

The place is very well maintained. There was a recent renovation that has given the place a new breathe of fresh air. The views and ambience are a great place for winding down and resuscitation.

Everything about this place is 5 ✴. The security checks are thorough. MoH guidelines for Covid are enforced correctly. The setting is 1st class. The staff are attentive and reactive to your needs and the food was really good. The accommodation is amongst the best on the continent. Well done to all concerned.

People at the reception is so un professional especially the indian guys in management. I came early in the morning and they counted it as whole night and they told we told when you came I told them i came from a long trip I was so tired I maynot have heard you so try to be nice they told if you any bad review we will show all the papers you have signed. So bad attitude as if I am a stealer.

I don't know where to start...yall don't treat blacks nice....we came at 5 reserved a table and came back one hour later and there is a white lady seated taking tea and apparently she can't be moved...we had to be given an option to sit in the shisha area with our kids🥲 honestly till we demanded for out table back...honestly who does that..... We then order food...we sat only to find out that our orders didn't even reach the chef😭😭😭😭😭😭 i had to go look for the manager and complain....we can't be treated like this yet we are residents that paid 10m for this...we were treated like we paid nothing....yall should stop being racist.....we love you but it's a nah......
