I booked a night at Kampala Backpackers. The 4-bed mixed dormitory was cozy. They are equipped with a mosquito net. The bathroom is good, warm water is avaiable. They have a lot of quite places to work with laptops. Wi-Fi is ok. I payed in cash at check out in local currency.

Perfect hideaway

Hidden in plain sight, this place takes you back in time!! The tranquility, the birds singing the day way, the spacious gardens and the smiles constantly plastered upon the faces of the staff would surely melt the strongest hearts... It's ideal for a group excursion. Don't say I didn't tip you folks!!

This is a good hideout in the centre of the city

The place is just next to the road with a very big sign post which makes is easily visible...its a very quiet place with a warm reception. It has both a hostel and a camping site. They are planning on constructing a climbing wall and a 65m high zip line. The serve a variety of wood fried Pizza. Breakfast is also served here.

I feel like home here! Peaceful place, very nice staff and everything so clean. My favorite place in Mengo!

The general area is ok, except that it had no activity, the few people there seemed like usuals. Sat for about 45 mins without service till I left. You'd have to do to the counter yourself if you needed anything or place an order.
