The services were excellent and professional. The staff and the place are clean friendly and homily. This is one of the best eye hospitals in Kampala with a great customer service from the stuff. They even contact you to make appointments which is not with most of other eye hospitals. At first I contacted their doctor from India but he directed me to the branch.

I really liked the way workers respect the patients and how they are organized from the girl at the door to the doctor hussein who is very humble and kind heart person I really liked the environment.

Last Thursday I was diagnosed retinal detachment, an urgent medical condition that requires immediate intervention. Unfortunately the specialist just left for his holidays. Of course, that can happen. When I said I would see where else the surgery could be done. They literally begged me NOT to do so and wait till he is back by the end of the month!!! Incredible!!! Apparently, their concern is with their pocket rather then the potential blindness of their patient. In some countries this practice is a crime, advising against immediate necessary treatment.

I took there my mum for an eye check up. We experienced the best customer care and their services were excellent.

Has all the required eye testing and treatment machinery and the coolest frames ever. 4 stars because some of the staff are sluggish and would rather first gossip with their colleagues than serve the customer. Key word is “some”. The doctor and the optician stood out for me. Will definitely make this a home for my eyes!!

Cleanliness of the facility is amazing. The staff are very helpful and courteous to patients. The service is great. If only the waiting time could be reduced, probably, by increasing the number of doctors to attend to the big number of waiting patients, that would be good.

I'm Ashraf (17) and I have been having eye issues (myopia) for 8 years and I'm grateful I came across Agarwal's. I have heard two C3R procedures because I have been suffering from Keratoconus something the other eye hospitals I have been to didn't avail to me. I am now recovering and encourage anyone reading this to visit them. Equipment, customer care and service is good. Once in a while there are delays but I will still give them five stars because this impediment is to almost all institutions. With there work ethic I'm sure they'll diminish these hindrances. It was my first time visiting this hospital , I had heard alot about them especially their level of professionalism and how they give back to the community. Indeed I feel much better after visiting this hospital, they have all the latest technology and the top-notch doctors I would say. The doctors and the staff are friendly and very professional I was really confident I would get the best treatment and I did. My favorite was the Doctor in room 12(Dr.Syed if I remember correctly). The only challenge I got was moving to the various rooms for the check ups but the system was suprisingly swift and I loved the various opinions I got from the different doctors. Kudos!

Had a patient who had cataract and glaucoma surgery. The procedure went well, the service and care was excellent. I recommend anyone with eye problems to have them sorted from here.

I was happy with the services. The providers I met were gentle and engaging and caring. The ONLY things I feel were left out are Blood Pressure, body temperature, and weight measurements! These are important vitals for any patient. Thank God for you all. Stay safe.

I went to Agarwal's Eye Hospital today for a review following prescription and administration of eye drops for almost two months. Good evening Thanks for this feedback forum! I have 2 remarks to make; 1. Honestly, I was so impressed by the efficiency of service delivery met, as being my first time at your hospital, so far it’s very good and I highly appreciate. 2. My other issue however is in regards to high charges for carrying out certain tests, I was able to receive a few simple tests and they recommended two more tests which were kind of too expensive for me to afford instantly amounting to a tune of 400,000 ug shillings, so I had to pause them in order to go and find ways of raising the sum. I’m wondering if a reduction can be possible Thanks

I had left eye surgery on Tuesday,Right eye surgery on Thursday and today Friday 1st Dec 23. I feel recovering and will be back to normal duties soon. My vision is back to normal.

U have turned into a business hospital. I regret the many patients I recommended here. Which hospital charges consultation fee after a month of surgery. Three surgeries on one eye not getting better but they still charging consultation fees. And no one to help.

After a suffering of 6 months and trying out the most famous eye clinics around town I was never helped with the medicine I was given. Then through NICA I got to know about Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital – Uganda and for some time I was hearing about the CSR activities they were conducting. I had a thought to make a visit and it was the right decision ever. I came in for an eye appointment and I had a great time. Everyone makes you so comfortable and someone always kept asking if they can help. Well-equipped with the latest machinery and experienced doctors, I was examined and given medicine, today is the 3rd day and I feel better. I highly recommend Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital for all your eye issues.

I had the worssst experience with this hospital today! Went with a flu and i mentioned it to them because i wanted to be sure they are aware incase they had measures in place for people with colds.i was flat out told i cant be treated until i treated the flu! I asked to see a supervisor who was an indian male who told me the same thing that i wont be treated. I understand that they don’t want to take a risk but then you should be able to have a phone consult with the Dr and he can see you from a distance (or even behind glass) to diagnose and prescribe meds 🤷🏼‍♀️ they should have options.Anyway i never received any treatment and walked away🤷🏽‍♀️!

Generally the services here are really good, the customer care is top notch too. However some few blemishes like delay at the reception like today they’ve really delayed to work on me. Also some other time I came for a referral and they still delayed to work on me which is really frustrating. But besides that everything else is good. Thank you

General patient management from triage to your intended destination within the facility is great and organised. I was a referral but was handled well. Yes, quite pricy for the procedure I had to undergo but it was worthwhile. Still under recovery let us see how it goes.

Hi, I visited Dr. Agarwal eye hospital several times. Machines for eye checks are great, system of attending to patience is good, the only problem I see is the cost of services given is too much. Poor patients can't afford. Another problem is delay in some offices like costing for services, rooms 18 and 19 delay alot. Otherwise general, this is the place to go.

I have done two operations in this hospital and i saw a big change on my eyes i was not able to see far objects even to read books but now i am able to see and read. They provide fast and secure service they are also social.

You services at least is one of the best services l got in uganda, being a nurse and with the rotio of patient/ nurse or even doctor l was challenge d with especially turn around time at my work place.though patient were appreciating my work they even appreciated more after visiting you people. Had a surgery of the Cornea. The before and after treatment was always superb. Also a LASIK procedure that have significantly improved my sight. The downside is on the quality of the spectacles they offer. They're so bad. And may come of as very expensive.

Oh, I had a wonderful experience at the hospital. Everyone seemed so nice and caring right from the reception to the doctors no doubt. However, I suggest you get a phone for your reception and delegate someone to fully follow up on verification of the insurance cards since most of your clients seem to be using insurance cards. I had to wait for hours before the verification was made all because apparently there was no landline or company phone to follow up, was stressful. But all in all, your doctor's are by far the best and so are some of the staff

Generally good experience however for the Dr in Refraction room 2 (couldn't get the name) man needs to add people skills to the books he read. He was downright rude even my child complained of his customer care.

Bad experience. The gentleman in room 33 refused to refund my money even when I didn’t do the test. Until I escalated it to the GM. Waited for two hours for my glasses to be fitted with the lense even when they told me it would take 30mins.

My experience with the Argawal is mixed. I have received quality treatments on my eyes. My cataract and Macular have gone. My left eye is now seeing better than before. My right eye is yet to properly heal. All in all the service is good.

I went there cuz I went to the branch in Rwanda Kigali and it was good my experience in this one was good up till I met the Eyewear specialist Idk what you call him, I meant the guy that made my eyeglasses... that guy hates being asked questions I asked him giving his job about somethings regarding Eyewear like what's blue light etc and he said to me in a mocking way "you been wearing eyeglass for years and you don't know that" he shamed and made me feel judged which was distasteful... later calls me to pick my eyeglass I pick it right, and come and ask is it ready, he says I think I called, I asked him like now now he asks me to sit.. very arrogant, doesn't like to be asked which an integral part of being a health provider which entail awareness to your patients... he is in it for the money 💵... anyways I hope the management look into this and change their standards of behavior
