Cafe Buna situated in the heart of urban center and close to the main city center. It is the favorite hangout place for continental food lovers. As you step your foot into the restaurant, you are welcomed by the magnificent urban setting, a beautiful combination of alluring wall pics and an immense luxury of modernity. Every table gives you a clear view of the chef working in the kitchen. Those, with no prior reservation, are welcomed to wait in the lounge with comfortable armchairs. The lounge is wonderfully decorated as displayed on the walls. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by the main course, specially designed for youngsters and adults. All the cuisines were fresh and refreshing. The chefs gave a home-made feeling using the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also offers various types of drinks, they serve one of the best wines in the town. The drinks are pricey but surely worth trying. In contrast, the service was not of very high quality. You can only see dead expressions on the waiters’ face. But the owner is full of warmth and thoughtful of his guests. He is always around ready to hear all types of experiences from you and the rest of the guests. Because of the brilliant atmosphere and delicious food service, neglecting the dead expression of waiters.

Excellent coffee, I wish I didn't have to deal with the road though while I sit in the courtyard. Maybe more plants and music would improve the ambience?

Excellent cafe. Mainly cafe food which is breakfasts salads sandwiches (Brood bread- the best sourdough) smoothies and excellent coffee (I drink it black and it has no acidic aftertaste). They also made it exactly how i asked as long-espressos/long-blacks are not in their menu. Only reason I give it a four star is the road noise but that is common in most cafes here and the locals don't even notice :) I will return as often as I can :) oh and it's only 5mins drive from Makindye.

Well I went to this cafe two days ago and expected some good food. However,was really disappointed for the was not the best. The beef sauce had too much salt that I couldn't finish my meal paid their 5k,plus the meat was so hard ....I don't recommend this to anyone who really needs something to eat at KIU
