Kampala old taxi has been good place to board taxis for both long routes and has many short routes available here. Itโ€™s now less congested compared to previous before it was rebuilt. itโ€™s now easier to find taxi due to some direction post pin on areas with those routes although the areas didn't changed from old ones. It's fully these dayz

Kampala old taxi park is located in kampala city opposite Mega standard Supermarket. Itโ€™s now less congested compared to previous before renovation.. itโ€™s now easier to find taxi due to some direction post though most of times it requires one to request taxi conductors for some perfect directions just in order to board easily

The Old Taxi Park is a one-stop centre in Kampala where one finds a matatu that takes them to different locations. Ever since it was rebuilt and re-designed, the park is less congested and is easily navigable. It was easy to find my ride and loved the experience ๐Ÿค—.

The busiest taxi park in Uganda, located in the heart of Kampala City. Want to go any where. You can find taxis going to over 100 locations in Uganda whether long or short routes/ town services. Easy to access once you are within the city of Kampala. If you can't find a taxi heading to your desired destination, you can find it in its variant, the new taxi park that is a few meters away. The only problem with these park is over congestion and are ever over crowded that gives a chance for pick pocketers to operate in disguise of travellers. Need to take great care while moving around.

This place is the oldest Taxi park in Uganda.it is where people board taxis to their respective destinations. It can be really crowded and noisy most times. It can be confusing to especially new people because of the beehive of activities here. I have to admit that this place can be overcrowded especially during evening hours between 5pm- 9pm. This is mostly because this is the time most people leave their work places. If you don't want to be in this mess, it I always better to come here at around 9pm which again can be risky!!! It is just a great place to be once in a while. There are also many billboards all round this place .

A bit organized than ever before for the renovations that were undertaken. Earlier on the place was very disorganized with lots of crowd of people. No one could help, even the parking was poor and disorganized but currently it's a bit more organized. During rainy days the place became impassable with lots of muddy flowing water but currently everything enormously changed. Credit to those who took the efforts to plan for the new nature of the old taxi Park.

If u think of reaching out to any destination within Uganda to it's boarders, just reach this place but be careful of con men , actually my concern is dat u should get all the comfort if ur belongings are all in safe custody, but trust me Uganda is at ur finger tips once u access this place, am Welikhe Henry

Best place to get a connecting taxi to centres (towns) and stages that make up the Kampala metropolitan city. But be cautious mostly when carrying a laptop bag.

Board a taxi to travel your desired destination at one of Kampala's oldest taxi park. Travel within Kampala metropolitan area and out of the central region without a long queue.

The place has a lot of traffic and ones needs to be careful especially from phone grabbing and wallet snatching young men. Otherwise, there's is cheap food and better prices in the malls and plazas for items such as clothes and accessories.

Old taxi park is really a collection of taxis many of them Too much congestion in the place where you have to squeeze yourself to make through the place. There are also a many of hawkers moving around with drinks like water, sodas and other selling different items from biscuits, sweets and handkerchiefs. Various movements around the place vehicles in and out and its always busy from morning until midnight.

Recently redone by the city authority and is now neither muddy nor a congested mess. Theres orderliness in how the taxis are arranged and park and ingress and egress the park. Though it was crowded with cars, Many people are there to help by giving directions on where they can get to the vehicle/taxi that can get them to their destiny. Fixed prices for the fare of transport to go your next destiny,no bargain. Besides everything , the taxi park was calm , enjoying, lovely view of the city .

  • 4/5 Ntambi R. 1 year ago on Google
The taxi park is well organised and it was just recently renovated. The park has a good look compared to the former. There are taxis that go to most of the places in Uganda though there are no time schedules for these taxis. Once a taxi gets full, it sets off. There are also shops and a supermarket in the taxi park so you can always get some items within in the park.

  • 3/5 Angel F. 1 year ago on Google

The Taxi Park is now more organized after reconstruction. It is safer for pedestrians to walk in as they search for taxis to their destination. It's now much quicker for a filled up taxi to exit the park.

  • 4/5 NIWAMANYIRE VICTOR (. 11 months ago on Google
The old taxi park has greatly improved, better drainage and service delivery. There's in-park food vendors, money exchangers. The park is a little congested though. They're plans to remove taxis out of Kampala to it's out skirts and in the city, we shall remain with Bus stops, and cyclists. I think it's a better move to decongest the city and reduce traffic

  • 4/5 Chris R. 8 months ago on Google

It's a place where one can find commuter taxis that can take them to their different destinations within the Kampala suburbs. The transport costs are generally fair. It's a rather busy place and so caution must be taken to keep watch of thieves and pick pockets.

The revamped Kampala Old Taxi Park is a testament to improved organization, making it effortlessly navigable for commuters. Securing a taxi to any destination has become remarkably convenient, streamlining the travel experience. The commendable strides in organization, however, emphasize the pressing need to retire aged taxis. These antiquated vehicles not only prolong journey times but also pose a substantial risk of major road accidents due to their outdated mechanics. Fortunately, the park has seen a notable reduction in pickpockets and hawkers, contributing to a safer and more pleasant environment for travelers. The positive changes signal a step in the right direction, enhancing the overall efficiency and security of the Kampala Old Taxi Park. As the authorities continue to prioritize modernization efforts, addressing the aging taxi fleet remains crucial for sustained improvements in both safety and convenience.
