Always a favorite for dining and shopping! We love the cheeses, sandwiches and imported goods! The imported grocery items are amazing. There’s always a great selection of imported dairy, frozen foods ( including items like chicken nuggets, puff pastry, jumbo shrimp). I’m particularly fond of the deli meats and cheeses. I LOVE that you can sample the meats and cheeses! My favorites are old Amsterdam cheese, smoked Gouda and mini chorizo sausages. This past week, we pick up some recently cured/smoked spiced sausage. I have to say, THE BEST we’ve had in years! Well done!

OK so it's not the cheapest place to get your groceries but the quality is very high and if you want European style grocery foodstuff this is the place to come. Staff are friendly too. They have a chocolate selection which is wide ranging, great burgers and fresh juices. Also good fresh meat counter. If you have dogs ask for some of the bones.

You can access alot of imported cheeses and other food items. Check your greens and vegetables before you leave to avoid disappointment.

Expensive but high quality - great selection of Belgian beers (Chimay, Kwak, etc) and other imported food, mostly from Belgium. Nice ambiance and service, a small oasis along the madness of Ggaba Road.

Le Gourmet remains the top deli shop in Kampala and combined with La Patisserie is my choice shopping destination. Wide selection, excellent quality!

Amazing place the stuffs at very friendly but don’t trust some of the things in the freezer like fruits they seem not to change it just because they a fruits shouldn’t take long time to be changed I have bought strawberries two times from this place and they get spoilt the next day I tried to buy the freeze one I thought for them could last for like few days as they were already in freezer they lasted only two days and my freezer always on and also there salads I buy I like two or three to have some at least for two days next day they smell bad other wise it’s a nice place for shopping

I ordered hash brown and egg for breakfast, and this is what served. I don't see hash brown at all, instead of fried potatoes that mixed with ham, pepper in sweet sauce. It's a crowded morning for breakfast and service a bit slow. But the atmosphere is nice

This morning I really wanted something with cheese. I ordered a Croque Monsieur - which is traditionally an open sandwich with lots of cheese on the top, melted. What I was served was a cheese and ham sandwich on toasted bread. Not the same at all. Croque Monsieur is popular for the oily, gooey, melted cheese. This was really disappointing 😢 especially from Le Gourmet. I complained and staff were nice but didn't really understand my complaint. Please either do the recipe properly or remove it from the menu. #diaryofamuzungu #foodie

Great food and many options of groceries stuff to choose from.

I love the options for cold cuts and cheeses. Whenever we return to the KLA, a stop at Le Gourmet for the Deli is high on the list!

Everything was on point. Good service and perfect customer care. We were allowed to see how they made the juice we were served, this was super nice. Proper hygiene is observed, highly recommended especially for different types of meat and all fresh juices - prepared fresh in your presence even vegetable juice. I plan to go back for Orange slumber - it was nice

Good stuff. Vegetables, fruits, exported items from Europe. Good selection, not a one stop shop, but good enough. It's on the pricier side, probably the most expensive grocery store I've been to in Kampala so far, so I'm sure to only buy the things I know I can't get elsewhere.
