This is the market where I get almost all my home supplies. From fresh fruits and vegetables to electronics and clothes. This is the largest local market in Uganda and I love it for its variety. Would highly recommend a visit. I am a tour guide and I’d be glad to show anyone around this market. The chaos with in it makes it harder to navigate but when you get the hang of it, you enjoy it.

Massive Market in Kampala" Located close to the Nakivubo Stadium and at the center of the business district of Kampala, St. Balikuddembe Market features hundreds of vendors selling commodities, ranging from food items, clothes, shoes, bed sheets, vegetables, electronics, textiles and bags. Few of the vendors also offer tailoring, transport and repair services. The market also has multiple restaurants serving local delicacies for those looking to replenish their energy after a long shopping spree. Everyday nearly 300,000 customers visit the market, with the number even more on weekends, making it one of the busiest markets on the planet.

It's no longer the one we used to love the most, they've taken almost half of it, and they've built a mall next to OWINO MARKET, this Mall is well known as HAM BUILDING. so nowadays u can't find used clothes and shoes from abroad around this market like how we used to get them all from there. So I dislike this market.

This market is unique in its own way, ie the set up. It has a lot of cheap fresh fruits, greens and food. However they display foods and veggies down on soils which is contrary with the public Health Act.

Also known as owino market. Just be wary of phone snatchers and pick pocketers since it's a crowdy place. But it's very okay and nice. You get good things and good prices too

Our crowded market historically named "Owino" after a Luo vender, who was the first to vend his merchandise there, and later joined by many to make it East Africa's largest food and flee market.

A.k.a OWINO market for all your second hand clothes, if you're looking for first class and you're an ordinary shopper not a business person, you won't find any. I suggest you go to the arcades near by. But if you know what you're looking for e.g workout fits(those nice and long lasting ones) food stuff, well second hand anything, Lumba... be ware of commotion and hold your bag steadily

Owino market is usually overcrowded especially in the mornings and evenings. It's even gets worse when it rains. There is quite a number of products ranging from shoes, clothing, beddings, fruits, vegetables, fresh & dry foods, spices. This place needs someone who is familiar with the where to access each product otherwise you might end up getting lost in the market.
