A supermarket offering a good varieties of household items in Kampala e.g. plastic containers, disposables, cutleries, cleaning materials, small kitchen appliances, Asian/Indian cooking ingredients/spices, some fresh vegetables & fruits. Price is more reasonable than most places. Payment by credit card is accepted.

This market has a little bit of everything at a very reasonable price, a bit lower than other shops around. It is a bit intimidating when you are walking up to approach the market... because there are many people inquiring you of their services such as taxi rides, beggers, fruit sellers and so forth. However, if you can overcome that, you will find a great selection of foods, household items, personal care and much more at a good price.

Wide assortment of products at a reasonable price. The supermarket is a bit congested right from the entrance, where there are many people seated who can make you feel unsafe because you can't identify them easily. Otherwise, the supermarket has an excellent supply of goods, including toys for children, simple electronics and cooking items and ingredients. They have a good stock of body care items like lotions.

I visited in March 2021, and that one time was enough for me. The cashiers didn't wear masks. The shop was crowded: what social distancing are we talking about? Plus, not only the alleyways are already narrow, but in that shop there are watchers: they sit in the alleyways, making it hard to pass by. They are just add to the crowding and make it hard to fetch things from shelves. Upon exit the security guard asks to present the receipt. Why, how does it help, I wonder? I had already packed my shopping: I had to unzip my rucksack and find the receipt for him. This check in unnecessary and just creates an atmoshpere of mistrust. The motto of this shop is "Service with a personal touch". Yet, the cashier didn't even say "hello" or "thank you". Sorry, but this motto is utter nonsense. Clearly, after this experience I have never gone there again.

Millenium is a one stop store for almost everything except clothes but beside millenium there are so many stores selling clothes. One can find everything i.e. vegetable, fruits, bakery items, dairy products, most of Indian packets (gopal, maggie, chings etc), bath products, stationary, toys etc etc.

One of the largest and cleanest stores I've seen, visited and shopped in Kampala. You'll appreciate their variety of goods. After being in Kampala for a couple of months ... you'll appreciate their store !!! Its check out is slow and tedious with double checking of receipts & shopping after you've paid. One gets to feeling that they're actually checking integrity of their employees not that of shoppers. Bear with them .....

This is a fully stocked household supermarket, only limited by space, so you might not be fully satisfied with your shopping but hey, whatever you need MUST be next door

It's a very good place to buy variety of products and the prices are also cheap as compared to Carrefour, Capital Shoppers, Jazz Supermarket. The shelves staff is very efficient and help you find your required products in a second. The cash counter is also good. However, the no return and no refund policy should be reviewed and it should be dealt by the Manager on case to case basis. The parking space is low and then the parking staff always demand something from you. Once, I came out from the parking on the acacia mall road when the parking staff came running from side towards me saying, 'stop, stop.' I stopped and gave him some money though I disliked that attitude and was willing to advise him, " Never to run after a car." Please give free parking to your customers like other main supermarkets do! Also, instruct the parking staff, if a client is willing to give some money on his own free will, that's ok but, if he doesn't have change or anything then they should not bother him. Rest, everything is good.

There's a place where you can buy a huge veriety of indian products from candies to shampoo. Many kinds of sauces, oils, spices, bread, etc. Sometimes if could be problems with parking but you can use Carrefour parking instead. Lots of caned food, especially beans.

Millennium supermarket has been around for more than 10 years at Acacia and its speaks for itself. Any Indian spices or most international product you might miss in some stores in Kampala, you can get it here. The store accepts or cards for your payments too. Also, be sure to check out their collection of incenses and ask for things which are on promotion (especially on foods).

To Millenium store manager: please remove these plug adapters from your store! To customers: DO NOT BUY THIS! This happened after using it the 1st time. Otherwise, Millenium is a nice, mid-range grocery store.

Not particularly big and usually crowded. It has narrow corridors which make it difficult to walk around especially with a trolley. The good thing is that they have a section to buy data and network time with a very competent and very helpful lady.
