Eliot will devise a schedule for you taking in all the places you wish to go and visits to interesting places on route. He is passionate about tourism seems to have friends wherever he goes and is very knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects if he doesn't know he will find out. On our last trip we were delayed arriving (our own fault) by several days and he rearranged our plans in such a way that we didn't feel we'd missed anything and was always at the end of a phone(WhatsApp) to help in any way. I would highly recommend Uganda as a great place to visit and Rambura safaris to show you the country 👍

Eliot is honestly the best tour guide in Uganda you could ask for. He took the time to pick us up and drop us off in Kigali for our personalized weeklong tour in western and south-western Uganda. He secured permits for us far in advance to ensure we wouldn’t miss out on any of the activities. We stayed in lots of different places that were all charming and interesting in their own way. Additionally, the itinerary was so varied – we did something different every day and we were able to see the diversity and beauty of the region we visited. Eliot and our driver, Andrew, were both not only professional, punctual, and reliable, but also easy-going and open-minded. We asked them all possible questions that came to mind and had lots of interesting discussions. Eliot is an excellent storyteller and is incredibly knowledgeable, which greatly enriched the entire trip and our understanding of the cultural context and Uganda’s history. We would highly recommend him to anybody looking to go on a tour in Uganda.

It’s been nearly three weeks since we finished our tour with Eliot and I am still not tired of sharing with friends how great our trip was! We came to know of Eliot at Rambura Safaris through a family friend and he came highly recommended, high expectations that Eliot exceeded! Prior to getting in contact with Eliot we had set out what we wanted to do, but we hit a stumbling block when trying to organise gorilla permits, enter Eliot. Eliot helped to close out the planning stage of our trip very quickly after first getting in contact with him. He communicated with us at every turn and we were put at ease knowing we had a great trip that was ready for us to just turn up to (after we survived the chaos of Manchester Airport!). Eliot offered great insights to our surrounding as we travelled along. He took his role as guide seriously and would always go ahead to ensure that we were checked into an activity/hotel. This attentiveness made the trip so relaxing for us as we could just switch off on our travels. Eliot is also a popular guy, and we benefited from that as we were upgraded at one hotel just because we were travelling with Eliot! We had the privilege of witnessing hippos, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, chimpanzees and gorillas on our safari with a guide who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our trip. I say all this to say, I would recommend the services of Rambura Safari.

We had a wonderful time in Uganda thanks to Elliott at Rambura Safaris. He planned and organised everything for us and made us get up early on occasion so that we didn't miss anything 😉😀😶‍🌫️. He didn't complain about our singing in the back seat during the journey 👍 The places we stayed were lovely, sadly we did not always have time to explore/ enjoy but that was our problem not Elliott's planning. I would recommend that you take the time and enjoy all Uganda has to offer in respect to plants , crafts , fruit, village life/culture, scenery,wild life ..... The Ugandan people are very friendly and helpful but a guide like Elliott will help with communication that will enhance your experience 👍🙂

Extreme Service beyond self

We had a great experience from pick up to drop off! We had a comfortable ride to Lake Mburo from our resort. We were able to see all the animals. Elliott was very prompt, thorough, and friendly. He treated us as his family. He was very knowledgeable of the parks and the animals we saw. We will definitely recommend him to everyone.

From the first contact with Eliot, to the goodbyes at the end of the safari, Rambura Safaris provided a terrific, professional service. We did a 3 night safari for 2 adults and 2 children to Murchison Falls in Uganda with the excellent & highly knowledgeable Nicholas as our driver and guide accompanied by Mark. Safari included a rhino sanctuary, game drive, boat trip and chimp trekking and visiting the stunning top of the falls. Our guides went above and beyond to ensure that we saw lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes and many more animals on our game drive. The accommodation was good, the safari van was comfortable and the overall cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

Rambura safaris is one of the best tour operators I have moved with in Uganda. The trip in question was the Kisoro trip which involved a road trip, boat cruise on Lake Mutanda and Mt Muhabura hike. We organized our trip with Elliot from Rambura Safaris. He was very responsive from the start whilst we were still enquiring about available packages and dates of travel. He provided us with a tailored package and a detailed itinerary of of activities we would do during our visit to Murchison Falls National Park. During our trip, he was very friendly and offered a personable experience that made us feel at home. He was reliable and did everything on time which ensured that all activities on the itinerary were actually enjoyed as promised. These included a visit to the Rhino sanctuary, a safari game drive, a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and and amazing hike to the top to the falls with a captivating view. My last experience with Rambura safaris was extremely magnificent. Our four day trip to hike mount muhabura left me yearning for more. I and my friends had an awesome travel through the kigezi hills, beautiful accommodations and nice meals. Our hike experience is the story to tell… thank you Rambura safaris. LALA
