Too busy, too crowded but the roadside space non existent because taxis have taken it. Part of Shell fuel station is borrowed but the guards there keep chasing them away. Not favourable to board from. Only good thing transport fares are negotiable but the journey will be slow because they load passengers with a variety of drop off points(read destinations) along the way which means there will be frequent stops affecting your arrival time if you are in a big hurry. If not in a hurry, then this is budget travel but expect to be moved in another taxi. Some taxis may never arrive the intended destination on realizing halfway the journey that the taxi is halfway full and most passengers will not reach its final destination. On that note, another taxi operating in the same method will be stopped and an equitable arrangement will be reached between the staff of the taxis. Meanwhile the original transport fare agreed upon before boarding will not change. So choose if it is favourable to your budget needs or time.

I experienced a lot of jam and congestion from so many people. This place is so busy as it has several routes to residential areas and it's along the Kampala Jinja highway. One too, has to be cautious with your phone or bag because it may be snatched. Kireka is always busy all the time and cars move slowly. Make sure you pass this area before 7am or after 10pm in case you want to avoid the jam here. Hope this helps be blessed.

It is a very busy, narrow and so congested place. Needs to reduce speed when approaching to that place mainly during peak hours.

It is so crowded and busy You need to be so steady and alert while crossing the road as there is no pedestrian crossing point and motorists are super fast

It’s the new kireka taxi stage. It’s just right before Banda KFC/ shell gas station as you head to kireka.
