Don’t
be
fooled
by
the
good
ambience
of
this
hospital.
I’ve
lived
in
Kampala
for
35
years
and
this
is
the
most
“reckless”
hospital
I’ve
ever
visited.
Use
them
with
caution.
I
say
this
because
I
had
an
MRI
done
with
them
in
March
2021
and
was
given
the
all
clear.
The
machine
was
new
and
looked
good
but
the
people
who
carry
out
the
scans
and
interpret
the
results
are
below
standard.
The
MRI
scan
lasted
20mins
and
the
results
came
through
a
few
days
later
and
I
was
given
an
“all
clear”.
2
weeks
later,
I
flew
to
London
and
decided
to
do
an
MRI
there
to
get
a
second
opinion
(as
I
continued
to
suffer
the
symptoms).
The
MRI
scan
in
London
lasted
1
hour
(much
more
thorough).
The
results
came
back
and
they
found
large
nodule
1.6cm
x
3.6cm
in
my
body
and
I
had
to
be
operated
on
quickly
to
avoid
further
life
threatening
complications.
After
my
results
in
the
UK,
I
informed
Ruby
of
their
negligence
and
they
gave
me
silly
excuses
and
I
never
got
a
refund.
Another
incident
with
them:
My
4
year
old
son
was
very
sick
at
their
hospital
and
the
nurse
was
about
to
administer
another
child’s
medicine
to
him.
They
didn’t
even
ask
his
name.
It’s
only
when
I
asked
what
the
medicine
was,
they
realised
they
were
giving
him
the
wrong
medication.
When
it
came
to
giving
him
the
IV,
the
nurse
(who
had
a
very
bad
attitude)
poked
and
prodded
him
about
10
times
and
failed
to
get
his
vein
(the
vein
was
very
visible
on
his
pale
skin).
This
whole
process
lasted
about
2
hours.
He
was
severely
dehydrated
at
this
point
and
crying
from
all
the
times
they
were
poking
at
his
arm.
I
then
gave
up
in
frustration
and
left
the
hospital
and
took
him
to
The
Surgery
(where
I’ve
always
gone).
The
nurse
at
The
Surgery
(empathetic)
found
his
vein
immediately
(first
attempt)
and
gave
him
fluids
straight
away.
The
Doctor
at
The
Surgery
also
said
there
was
no
need
to
give
my
son
antibiotics
(as
was
prescribed
at
Ruby).
They
told
me
he
would
recover
without
antibiotics,
so
they
just
gave
saline
in
his
drip
to
rehydrate
him
and
some
paracetamol
to
keep
his
fevers
down.
I
complained
to
the
Management
and
I
still
haven’t
received
my
refund
for
the
2
incidences.
Lastly,
my
father
had
an
MRI
scan
done
on
his
knee
at
Ruby
and
was
told
“everything
is
normal”
in
his
report.
He
went
to
London
for
a
second
opinion
as
his
symptoms
in
his
knee
continued
to
worsen.
The
MRI
scan
in
London
showed
up
all
the
issues
and
he
has
since
had
his
knee
replacement
surgery
(which
was
required).
Kampala’s
worst
hospital.
