Reasonable price, Very clean, no bugs at all. Nice service, Room service was honesty. Water provides a bottle a day. To get extra, i need to request to the front. Pool is in the dining. No refrigerator. In the weekends, the bar makes noisy music in the evening

I recently had the pleasure at staying at this boutique hotel for two nights and I was really impressed. The customer service right from when you walk in is amazing - shout out to Derrick and Jimmy but all the staff are super helpful and very friendly. The location of the hotel is also amazing and its quiet. The food is also amazing including the cocktails. Thank you so much for making my stay special.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ONOMO Hotel Kampala during my trip to Uganda, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, I experienced impeccable service, modern amenities, and a delightful ambiance that truly made my stay unforgettable. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately struck by the sleek and stylish design of the lobby. The contemporary decor, combined with warm and welcoming staff, created an inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was swift and efficient, and the staff provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services. The room I stayed in was simply fantastic. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring Kampala. The room also featured a well-appointed bathroom, complete with luxurious toiletries and fluffy towels, adding an extra touch of indulgence to my stay. One of the highlights of my experience at ONOMO Hotel Kampala was the outstanding dining options available. The hotel's restaurant offered a diverse menu, catering to various culinary preferences. The breakfast buffet was a true delight, featuring a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes that catered to both local and international tastes. The attentive and friendly staff made dining a pleasure, always ready to provide recommendations and ensure a delightful experience. The hotel's location was another aspect that impressed me. Situated in the heart of Kampala, it provided easy access to the city's major attractions, shopping centers, and vibrant nightlife. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the airport made it extremely convenient for both leisure and business travelers. What truly sets ONOMO Hotel Kampala apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Throughout my stay, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their genuine warmth, professionalism, and willingness to assist with any request or inquiry made me feel valued as a guest. To sum it up, I highly recommend ONOMO Hotel Kampala to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Kampala. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers a superb experience. From the well-appointed rooms to the delectable dining options and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay was nothing short of excellent. I cannot wait to return and experience the hospitality of ONOMO Hotel Kampala once again.

Went for a birthday dinner but was not impressed by their customer service. They are too slow. Basically had to find our own seats then waited for the menu for a while. After getting the menu, we were just practically calling out any waiter/waitresses we could see to attend to us but they were just bypassing us. I can only imagine what it looks like on a weekend because we went on a Thursday and that's the service we received. For those interested in taking pictures, it's quite picturesque.

One of the most beautiful places you will find in Kampala. It is quiet and literally off the grid. The staff is nice, fast and professional. The food is great and has got an amazing view. I enjoyed my stay. And the pool is super clean and not so busy. The hotel is good for conferences and workshops.

A good place to have fun with a nice surrounding. The service isn’t bad at all as i thought from my friends who were here at fast as they told me. But at my surprise all food and drinks came in time. I really had good service offered to and my friend , we really had the best of it. All thanks go to Joshua who gave us an excellent service while at SABA restaurant. We hope to have more of his services when we come back. Next time

My stay at Onomo was okay. I was REALLY underwhelmed with the rooms. They were so tiny it felt like I was sleeping in a dorm room because everything was right in front of me. I also found the black colours in the corridors and the public bathroom at the reception too much. Since the lighting automatically comes on, the hallways are so dark and creepy! Same goes for the bathroom that took quite some time to come on. Otherwise the food from Saba at Onomo was delicious! This was probably my way of compensating for the underwhelming rooms. The breakfast was always spot on and fresh! Even the snacks in between the meetings were really good! It’s one of those spaces you’d enjoy hosting a meeting. The conference rooms have a view of the pool so it’s quite refreshing to be thinking outside the “formal space”

Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately struck by the sleek and stylish design of the lobby. The security system with the help of trained dogs was so fascinating at the gate . The contemporary decor, combined with warm and welcoming staff, created an inviting atmosphere.

The hotel is beautiful and so is the restaurant (saba restaurant). Kinda on the pricey side ( cheapest meal is 39,000). The service from the staff is very professional. The waiter was very helpful during the wine selection and patiently answered all our questions about the menu. Only down side I noticed is that the menu has limited meals but the restaurant does offer other meals off menu. It would be helpful if menu was updated with those meals too. It was a wonderful dinner with my girls.

Nice environment. Neat and the use of technology in door access and even rest room lighting ensures minimal contact that limits infectious disease spread Service is great. However the menu isn't extensive. It's quite limited to a few but delicious dishes

Just after Nakasero hospital, this hotel stands tall in black and white design, beautiful to the eye. Has a unique layout where the lobby, lounge, bar, coffee area and Saba7 restaurant all come together and stretches up to the pool area As a coffee lover I was thrilled to find WILD COFFEE taking the bigger potion of the bar The lounge is beautiful too With a section where local artist can showcase their work. The menu has a variety of items and the prices surprisingly are so affordable compared to other places of the same standards

Attended a corporate function today at the hotel. Really enjoyed the excellent food, cocktail bar and professional, friendly service. Our invitation-only event was outside next to the swimming pool. This hotel has a serious wow factor. Beautiful, creative interiors, international levels of customer service throughout. Good security included bag scans, temperature check, hand sanitisation and more. I couldn't find fault in anything that I experienced.

It's a beautiful hotel, security check also on point, lovely scenery but the worst customer care. One needs a reservation before going there to eat. We had gone to book the place for an event but I waited for over 15 minutes before getting any one to help. We stood up to walk away and no one cared to find out if we were attended to. No photographs are allowed too. 😒😒😒

The food took so long 😩, it got to us very cold and the medium rear t bone steak was so awful. The salt shaker had rice like a cheap village restaurant. The waiter was smelling of sweat.. and to make it worse.. we literally had to call the hotel to get service every time... I honestly can never go back there because I could see the white guests getting all the attention oba because they were from a big corporate company.. or because they are white. I understood why the hotel is empty, the basics have been thrown out the window.. and some creepy hotel guest was in his window watching us like a TV show. If you read this, please trust me.. don't waste your hard earned money.

Breakfast by far one of the best I have had in the country and the Pork Ribs on the menu are to die for, 10/10 for me. I would recommend anyone to go there. will surely try the Ox-tail pasta 😋😋 next time I visit. Chef Derrick is doing good over there, big ups👍🏽

“The Saturday buffet Meals will knock your socks off” I spent a Saturday afternoon with a friend at Saba and everything was beyond my expectations. Everything is so fresh, the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and camera worthy. Best dessert section I have ever had. The food is scrumptious, generous portions and at great prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended this place.

What a great hotel Onomo is!😍 It was recommended to me by a friend and trust me, we didn't regret any single minute spent at the restaurant specifically. Last Sunday after church, we decided to come and have some lunch we were recommended pork ribs, and it's surely something one can never go wrong with, among other items we had. Talk about service, wow, we were served by a waitress called Monica, her smiles, speed of service and communication skills with the guests made us even enjoy our meals more, our food came on time plus the cocktails were great. All in all we were grateful for the service at Onomo hotel aka SABA restaurant, we shall definitely recommend the hotel and surely come back again. Kudos 👏

This hotel is a very weird mix. Granted it is on a fairly elevated and tight lot but the design could have been optimised to work better. Access into and exit out of it is very precarious. Not to mention the fact that a dog had to get into our car in the name of security check. Not good at all. Security said "you can complain and still come back". The lobby starts out as an exciting space but one quickly catches on to its over done nature - reed baskets, artificial and natural plants, lots of lights in different shapes, sizes and colour. It is cluttered. What ambience does this create? I do not know. It is just weird. 3 years on, and it is clear maintenance is not up to par. Furniture was obviously dusty (and yes I know I am in Kampala but there are precedents elsewhere in the city that provide clear space) Ah well! There were a few points that are a saving grace: Christine our server was nice 👌🏾. Although they run out of a number of items while we were there (including room temperature water) The food was great 👍 Portions were good too.

Great place to stay in Kampala! The suite was very spacious and was very clean. The only downside would be the restaurant. The food is quite good, however they are not consistent with the way they make the dishes and the service is quite slow. We also noted that after weekends, they usually don’t have a lot of stuff to make the dishes in the menu and you have to settle for what is left or they can make.

Good not great but a really credible option for central Kampala. Rooms are a little smaller than I would usually opt for. And if you can't do a gym properly then don't do it all. But the location is fantastic and the food pretty good

The food was great but it took so long to come and the portions aren't enough in comparison to the prices. The waiters and waitresses are really friendly and professional but it is very difficult to access one thus making the service below average. Besides this the ambiance is amazing..its amazing scenery but they ought to do better with their overall service provision.

Onomo service was top notch the waiters really pay attention to what customers need and deliver what each may like. It was pretty easy to locate there was no need of even using google maps like we always do for other places. The environment was pretty calm too plus the every one was acting professional and this made it such an easy and comfortable experience.

Onomo Hotel has a cozy environment that attracts people to spend time there. The few hours we spent there were worthwhile and the customer service is very good. A lad called Nicholas waited on us and his interactions and engagements with us made us feel at home and enjoy our food.

Nice boutique hotel. The rooms are a work of art. Things are a bit different, the can and the shower are separate, which is well.. different. The restaurant, buffet and the open space are cool.. Everything is cool, even the takeaway coffee cups are cool. I need to thank Gloria at the reception for the fastest and most informative check in I've had recently.

ONOMO Hotel Kampala stands as a premier choice in Uganda's capital, boasting a prime location that offers easy access to key attractions and business centers. From the moment guests step through its doors, they are greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service from attentive staff. The hotel's tastefully decorated rooms provide both comfort and functionality, equipped with modern amenities and a commitment to cleanliness. Dining options are a highlight, with delectable cuisine served at the on-site restaurant and refreshing beverages available at the bar. Overall, ONOMO Hotel Kampala provides a memorable experience for both business and leisure travelers alike, combining convenience, comfort, and sophistication in the heart of the city.

I had a wonderful time at Onomo Hotel, thanks to my friend Lucky who recommended it to me. The hotel is cozy and perfect for a romantic date, with a beautiful view of the city and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially liked the breakfast buffet, which had a variety of dishes to choose from. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. I highly recommend Onomo Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. It was a memorable experience and I would go back again.

This is one of the best Hotels have been to over the last few years. The African look is incredibly blended with natural plants that fed me with fresh air. The dishes are the real definition of African.

Got transferred here from Latitude because it was full. The experience was much worse: the corridors were gloomy, long, and soulless, the rooms felt like something from a military camp. Worst transfer ever. The restaurant and public places seem great though!

Rooms were nice and clean. Due to events it was noisy though. The restaurant was a bad experience. We waited very long every time we ate there, they brought the wrong sides, forgot about extras, billed additional food and the taste of the burger made made us sick. Spa treatment was perfect!

Good experience with the service, furniture and interior deco is nice. However, the parking lable should be change and have it as "Parking" in large font size and not "Indoor car park". As it is, it tricks to think that there is an alternative parking only for one to drive up to the exit.

Getting into hotel compound was like checking into a fortress. Parking exists underground however Getting in and out rather tight so not ideal. Met up with club mates outside next to plunge pool. I thought idea of outside facility ok but was rather busy and hectic. Inside decoration interesting. Place worth visiting.

Simple rooms with a nice elegant touch. Good breakfast selection. New kid on the block. Tight security plus still have strict covid measures in May 2022 (good thing but a tad but annoying, wont judge). Would recommend.

Nice ambiance. Menu is ok though I think slightly limited in variety and not big on local cuisine. The staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about their services. The security check at the entrance is so elaborate I'm sure not even a virus can sneak past it😄 Definitely worth a visit, especially in the mornings (if you don't like crowded spaces) and evenings (if you love buzzing but not wild places).

The hotel is nice, the breakfast is the best part of the restaurant. If you go to the restaurant at any time the service is slow, even if you’re the only one there. There food is not worth it there are better restaurants near you. The staff are very nice.

  • 4/5 Sam G. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are very well equipped and quiet. Good WiFi. Super nice breakfast (buffet). I had read comments mentioning that food ordered could be coming slowly at dinner, so I asked waitress/waiters what could be ready "more or less quickly", they gave good advice. Hopefully a room service will be fully developed soon since the dinner room can be noisy ( music) or a bit crowded some evenings, but the food is really good. I will be happy to go back to Onomo again.

I went for lunch, and it seems the staff were busy somewhere else. I constantly had to wave consistently to get attention. I ordered food, and it took almost an hour before I received it. Bees were circulating around the drinks despite calling their attention, and they assured us to work on it. Nothing was done except replacing the drink that a bee fell inside.
