My partner and I went on a 7 days tour in Uganda, and to say we loved the experience is an understatement. Nicholas majestically supported us in preparing for the trip. He was very efficient and supportive - the best communication flow which reassured us ahead of the travel. While in Uganda, Richard, our guide, was so attentive, reliable, high spirited and knowledgeable about his country and wildlife, which made this travel one of our best experiences. Richard was on top of all the logistics, we just relaxed and enjoyed the experience. We were so excited to see the gorillas, the main reason for arranging this trip, but we were surprised by all of Uganda. The places we visited - meticulously tailored by Nicholas and Richard - were stunning, the local culture, wide life, food, all of it very worthy. I recommend Africa Tours Adventure, and you will have a fantastic time with them.

Africa Tours Adventure makes what is excellent in delivering services to people. it was i and my two friends on a trip to Uganda. Am grateful to Nicholas for the moments we had with him on a 4 day wildlife and gorilla safari to Uganda. i realized its not about the places (Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth NP) we visited in Uganda that made us happy and feel valuable but rather it was the people (Nicholas and his team of guides) we had by our side. All our requests were attended to from the start to the end. Nicholas and his team were informed about the wildlife and went an extra mile by rendering more and better services that we felt it was above what we had paid for. We did a 6 days safari at Queen Elisabeth park, including the gorilla trekking. The communication with the company was very good. The suggested accommodation were really nice and generally everything was very well organized. I want to specially mention our driver Levan. He was simply excellent!

We took a 12 day tour with Africa Tours Adventure across Uganda. The initial communication was very smooth and Nicholas was able to accommodate all my wishes into our customized itinerary. He also supported us with our visa. Our guide Levan was very knowledge, reliable, a very safe driver. He made the tour a huge success. The accommodation provided exceeded my expectations in terms of quality of the food and rooms. I just spent 14 days with a very professional and knowledgeable driver: Elias. The company provided us with a working RAV4. It was clean and Elias kept it clean during the trip. His off road skills saved us on many occasions. He knows the traffic rules in Rwanda and Uganda. Sit with the driver on the first day and plan the itinerary. He'll let you know if your plans make sense and then will get you there. We hit all points on the list. I had a great trip!

Our experience with Africa Tours Adventure was wonderful. Nicholas was extremely helpful in planning our itinerary, and was quick to respond to my many questions throughout the planning process! We had two vehicles for our group of 11, and our guides/drivers, Harrison and Patrick, were the BEST, hands down. They took care of every detail during the trip, confirming tours, meals, lodge accommodations, and made sure that we were all taken care of. On top of that they're experts in everything, and gave us great information during drives on the countryside, the people, animals, etc. And were both warm, friendly, and personable--great to spend the week with both of them! Our lodges were excellent - all different and unique, in beautiful settings. I couldn't pick a favorite, they were all beautiful in different ways. Primate Lodge by Kibale Park (the cottages--dreamy!) and great food, right by the chimpanzee trek in Kibale. Mweya Lodge in Queen Elizabeth Park --- wow views--just stunning! And old world elegance, lovely. Bakinga Lodge in Bwindi National Park-- it takes awhile to get there, it's on top of the mountain -- but when you arrive you just exhale and take in the gorgeous views! Rustic setting, small, and even the shower comes with a view! The stars at night are brilliant. And this place is 5 min from gorilla trekking, so that's nice. This was a dream trip, and I highly recommend Africa Tours Adventure! They were all just great, thank you!

Great 9 day trip in Uganda focusing on primates. The company was responsive, the itinerary was well designed, and the guide was great.

Thank you so much to Africa Tours Adventure for exceeding our expectations of Uganda. From the organisation, to the end of the trip - we could not fault a thing. We were lucky enough to be assigned the most amazing Tour Guide; Patrick; and he made our trip just that extra bit more memorable. Such a gentleman and so knowleagle. My sister and I asked about 100 questions a day and because of him, we left "the Pearl of Africa" knowing and having learnt so much. All the Lodges we stayed in were as mind-blowing as the last; Bakiga, Embogo and Enganzi. Just WOW to all of them. Each with their special selling point and unique locations and views. Food and service was great throughout and we loved the car too (as we spent a lot of time in the car), it was clean and comfy and when the roof opened up, we were on cloud 9 for the Safari drives! Not to forget the main reason we went to Uganda; the Gorillas! We were priviledged enough to spend 1hour with the Mukiza Family (18 members) and again, this whole trek and experience was phenomenal. Highly recommend Uganda to everyone - it is safe and beautiful and the people are so welcoming. And no better way to explore this Country than with Africa Tours Adventure. Thank you!

Visiting Africa has always been a big question mark for me. We heard about this vegan tour that was being organized and decided to be part of this group of 18 travelers. From the moment we arrived at the airport, to the moment we left, I felt safe, comfortable, and looked after by our guide Bernard. We had 3 cars with 6 people in each car. The three guides (also Patrick & Chris) worked together and stayed together to provide an exciting and memorable experience. The itinerary was excellent, and we stayed in some very lovely lodgings, starting from our arrival in Kigali, Rwanda. The company arranged all of our food options making it super easy, stress-free travel. Rooms and bedding were comfortable and all staff on various parts of the tours were eager to look after us. I was pleased to see that a number of women were working as porters, trekking guides, and rangers. They all did a great job and were very passionate about preserving the wildlife! Bring lots of small bills so it is easy to give tips!!

From gorilla and chimp trekking in Uganda, to boat cruises and game drives, to urban experiences in Kigali, Rwands, Africa Tours Adventure made our trip a top notch experience. Our driver guides, Patrick, Chris & Bernard, were warm, funny, personable and extremely knowledgeable about the people, culture and wildlife we experienced. We came as a group of 18 vegans and the company made sure that our dietary needs were met at every stop. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a safe but adventurous trip to these beautiful countries

We just returned from a 13-day trip in Uganda with Africa Tours Adventure. They are an exceptional company to work with. Nicholas, who tailored our trip based on our preferences and budget, put together a fabulous experience visiting Uganda  - from Ziwa to Murchison National Park, Kibale, Bwindi, Lake Bunyoni and Lake Mburo. The diversity of the activities ranging from game drives, boat rides, nature walks, chimps and gorillas trekking contributed to making this trip such a memorable one experience. The lodges (luxury) were excellent, with a special mention to Turaco Treetops in Kibale. The success of this trip was largely due to our guide, Levan. Levan is not only an excellent and safe driver, but he has also had an eye for spotting animals and is very knowledgeable about them. So, if you’re planning to visit Uganda, I highly recommend Africa Tours Adventure with Levan on your side!

I booked a 5-day safari to SW Uganda (Bwindi for gorillas & Queen Elizabeth NP for safari/chimps) with Africa Tours Adventure that took place in mid-December 2023. It can be a little overwhelming to decide on a tour operator when you're halfway around the world, but after reading many reviews and looking very closely at the different safari quotes I received, I decided that Africa Tours Adventure was the most organized, best reviewed, and fairly-priced option available. I'm happy to say that I was not wrong! I had an EXCELLENT experience from start to finish, with clear and direct communication from Nicholas helping me select the best itinerary and hotel options. He was always responsive and quick to reply, and although it did initially seem risky to send a sizable monetary deposit to a strange company in a foreign land, I never doubted Nicholas, and based on his good communication, I always felt assured that I was in good hands. In every way, this is a trustworthy and dependable operation. I was also a female traveling alone so I was somewhat concerned about safety and security, but my guide Barnabas was there every step of the way, providing peace of mind. I wasn't sure how it would be traveling alone with a guide for five days, but Barnabas made it easy with his animated conversation and good attitude... I dare say we became friends over the course of our days traveling together. I could not recommend Barnabas more highly as an absolute professional and top-notch guide. He has years of experience, a teaching degree, and all the certifications for Ugandan tourism and wildlife education. This man knows his Ugandan wildlife! In particular, Barnabas is a world-class birder and knows almost every one of Uganda's 600+ bird species. I learned more about African birds than I ever thought possible, and his passion carries through his work at every location. He also hooked me up with the best Kazinga Channel boat guide (also a pro birder), who is.a former park ranger and wildlife expert. Barnabas deeply respects nature, and this shows. I will also say that Barnabas was always three steps ahead of me in everything we did... he was making advance arrangements, thinking through questions/issues ahead of time, and never left anything to chance. He's also a great driver on very wild & bumpy/twisty roads, and I never once felt uncomfortable or out of control with his driving style. In sum, I felt absolutely well taken care of on this trip, and I am very grateful to both Barnabas and Nicholas and the Africa Tours Adventure operation for being flexible when needed, responsive and professional, and for being knowledgable & personable in every service provided.
