The place is in a quiet upscale neighborhood of Kololo. It's not crowded generally quiet, with the din of people having their own chatter. The menu is mainly vegetarian. Prices are above the average on the market. For example beers are at 8000/- unlike the ordinary price of 3000/-. So one should come in with loaded wallet. It's good to come with the children too.

Had amazing vegetarian brunch at this place. For vegetarian food, their prices are very fair. Was very pleased and look forward to going back.

One of my favorite places in Kampala. The best fix for healthy and organic food you can find! Think California (LA vibes). They have a beautiful terrace area for seating and the menu items are all good. I always get the avo toast with a juice and coffee when I’m here

I've now been to green bean 3 times. Great food and friendly service and a lovely diverse veg menu, however wait times are extremely slow. If you go just go with someone you're happy to spend alot of time with or with lots of work to do. Wait time was 50 mins first time, an hour the second time, and 45 mins the third. Lovely idea and I'm very enthusiastic about supporting veg restaurants in kla. I would recommend going, but not when you're in a rush!

Massive disappointment! I don't understand the high reviews of this place... Unless the quality has dropped drastically! The staff were very grumpy and didn't seem to want to be there! The food was even worse... Ordered a vanilla shake that tasted more like plain milk passed through a blender to fluff it up and the chickpeas in the greek wrap were undercooked! Seating was also uncomfortable! The set up was nice but that was about it!

I love Green Bean Cafe! They have a fantastic range of food - the beetroot burger is to die for, the banana pancakes are awesome and their salads taste great. They also have a food delivery service, which makes eating healthily very simple. I can't recommend it enough!

Green Bean Cafe has really fresh, healthy and delicious food. The cafe has a light and airy terrace to sit and work from, and surprisingly good Wi-Fi! Being new to Kampala, I’ve found many friendly faces at the cafe who have helped me settle in. The meal delivery service was particularly useful when I was moving between Airbnbs… and the cafe owner even helped me find a place to live! What great service indeed.

Green Bean Cafe is a much needed Vegan/Vegetarian cafe run by a nutrition expert in Kampala. Delicious meals, awesome smoothies and salads and the best coffee too. Definitely recommend it.

I'm working my way through the whole yummy menu! the buddah bowls have so many different colours and nutrients in them. The owner also gave me brilliant nutrition advice and recipes for a vegetarian who does strength training. Can't recommend enough to anyone wanting yummy healthy meals and treats

I really love that the food always feel like someone really cared when they prepared it. I feel like it’s unique and I enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and the combinations. It’s a gem of a place. I love the breakfast selections and I loooooove the pesto eggplant sandwich! I’m enjoying the weekly breakfast deliveries to my office. I don’t have to worry anymore in the morning about what to eat and when. It just arrives, it’s healthy and a great start to my day.
