My wife said claypot chicken rice is a famous dish in this parts. So based on the encouraging reviews, we made a trip here. But the meal turned out somewhat underwhelming. The rice was a bit soggy, and it didn't have the fragrance that I was expecting from claypot rice. Chicken was not particularly tasty as well. We added curry lala and bean sprouts to our meal. The bean sprouts was ok. But the curry lala didn't stand out in any way. There were lots of flies buzzing around so the dining environment wasn't conducive. And the staff were not in a friendly mood either. I'd classify this as a once-is-enough in a lifetime experience.

A rather low profile chinese restaurant specializes in claypot. Everything imaginable in claypot, from chicken rice to noodle as well as side dishes such as vegetables, can be cooked claypot style. Both indoor and outdoor tables are available. Car park is available in this area.

This time i tasted it is better than last time, overall steady performance, but the pork slightly salty else perfect. 5stars for my meal + big plate taugeh + drink RM12.5, its a steal la.. Not so comfy la hot and stuff, one of the experience here la kampung ma, this would cost near 30 in KL le..

Delicious food, great prices, and very, very welcoming staff! They serve me so attentively and assured me constantly that they will tend to me, even when I am just having 1 portion meal for myself. Superb!

The claypot nam yu pork rice is 100% top choice to order. Best to order the drunken chicken mee sua and claypot brinjal with spicy sauce. Very the sedap. Try to arrive early before 7pm to get a spot for dinner. No regrets. 100% satisfaction.

Pretty good claypot chicken rice and at a reasonable price as well. They also serve other wide variety of dishes such as 麻波豆腐 and they also taste pretty good. Usually fully packed due to the good food.

This place was recommended by my friend from Ipoh and I decided to give it a try on my way up to Penang. The Claypot Chicken is cooked on order so expect about 20 minute waiting time. The chicken was well marinated and flavourful. You can add Chinese sausage (larp cheong) and salted fish to enhance the flavour. Dumpling soup and blanched Ipoh taugeh were decent but the latter was not the fat juicy Ipoh variety. Overall it was a good meal for a late afternoon.

Went for lunch this shop as we were new to the place and don't know where to eat. They have a huge selection of claypot dishes . We ordered 1 chicken claypot , 1 brinjal claypot and 1 tauhu to be shared among 4 of us. I'm not a claypot rice enthusiastic so don't really know how to evaluate this dish. However, the dishes tasted good and we finished all the dished .

Due to heavy traffic jam redirected to this area and research for the clay pot chicken rice ! this please show up in the afternoon still open yay ! What a wonderful small place but for very nice food this is the place u can see more photos

Classic claypot chicken rice with Chinese sausage (lap cheong) and salted fish is nice. The large size can serve 3-4 persons with other side dishes. The Mapo Taufu is just nice for me, recommended for those don’t prefer the strong taste of pepper.

Not as good as Kampar ClayPot rice in Damansara Jaya

Went here on Sunday for dinner, quite full house but can get table still. The food come out fast and everything was delicious. We ordered Claypot chicken rice, mapo tofu and some other dishes. But the claypot rice and mapo tofu is the highlight of the meal. They cooked the rice nicely and the flavors also not too overwhelming it just nice. And we spend rm47 for 4 dishes and 2 drink. Very very good deal for a very good dinner. Will come again next time when we visit Kampar.

Found this restaurant from other's review. Decided to give it a try today. Plenty of parkings behind the premise (you'll need to enter it via the alley beside Family Mart). However, parking at the storefront is also available. The restaurant provide both outdoor and indoor sitting places. I chose the indoor as afraid of raining in the midst of eating. The staffs welcomed me warmly and introduced their signature dishes. The one that i pick is Drunken Chicken (黄酒鸡米线), not really their signature but I just felt like want to eat that ahha. Delicious AF, don't only eat the meat and noodle, but take a sip of the soup (more sips = better) because the essence are there. For drink, I chose their herbal tea, nothing special about this. Total of MYR 12.70, super affordable with the quality of foods and services provided. Wishing all the best for their business and will definitely revisits to try out their other menus. :))

This is a must visit place to eat! The food was amazing, it was so good we went back twice and took take aways too! The owner was friendly and helpful and the shop is clean. We can all the way from London for this tasty food. Thank you Ken we will be back!
