Very rarely do we find restaurants improving on their food quality over the years. So imagine our delight to find Yee Loy doing just that! The restaurant is fully air-conditioned now although diners may also opt to sit outside. Service is friendly and fast. Menu is extensive. We had butter prawns (RM50 for about 10 medium sized ones), sweet and sour fillet Haruan fish (RM30), 4 beans vegetable and vege soup. All were good. Prices seemed on the high side. But we'll return to try other dishes.

Recommended by a new friend. Good eats and good pricing. Good custom from locals adds to an excellent experience of visiting a small town restaurant with old Chinese recipes not available in KL.

A family run non air conditioning Chinese restaurant relocated from Klang. Good + friendly service. Food is just ordinary. Price is high by Kampar standard.

The foods is nice and delicious, however, it would be better if put the menu of the restaurant in the page of Facebook as it is easier and convenience for the customers to make an order through phone. Hope shop owner can consider for it, thank you very much. :D

I was at kampar trying to find some of my favorite food during childhood days. Unfortunately my favorite food store was closed so we ended in this restaurant. It is located at the new town of Kampar . I wouldn’t have came here if not recommended by a friend. This is just a typical small town restaurant with the typical Chinese restaurants decor with red table cloth. The menu is pretty extensive serving mainly Cantonese food. We ordered Kam Hiang lala, a steamed fish/sotong, tofu soup, Thai style Paku veggies, deep fried chicken wings with fermented beancurd and Pork ribs served with water melon balls. I liked the lala very much, the lala were quite big and very tasty. The tofu soup was another pleasant surprise with the tofu finely sliced and mixed into the flavor some broth. The Thai paku veggies was a bit sweet but acceptable. The fried chicken wings flesh were juicy and fried to perfection. The ribs were served with water melon, a twist to the flavor. But it was kind of lost to other dishes. The steam fish and steam sotong were good too. We enjoyed the meal thoroughly and will be back for more. It is also a reasonably price restaurant.

Had a big family lunch here (20+ pax) Food : Food taste is average, dishes are a bit rough. Price : Price is RM 315 for 10 pax with about 7 dishes. A bit costly by Kampar standards. Environment : Place is very hot and can be a bit tight. Not that suitable for family gatherings as can be crowded and uncomfortable. Not very clean. Service : Only upside is the service was quite fast and the waiter was relatively friendly.
