I love it when the people are friendly. Bad environment and no matter how nice the food can be will "taste horrible". The uncle that took our orders was pleasant, friendly. He was also patient. The other staff were also friendly. Food wise, sad that we could not try the curry chicken bun as it was sold out. I liked all the dishes. The tofu was nicely fried, just a little crisp on the outside but still retaining the softness and smoothness of the tofu inside. The Asam Fish slices was not bad too. Not overly overpowering which is good. I liked the sweet n sour pork, it has the right amount of "bounciness". The egg tarts n char siew pau were so so for me but i came when they were nearly sold out so perhaps not as fresh as it should be. Overall a pleasant dinner.

One of the good Chinese restaurant at Kampar. Foods are all delicious. It is air-conditioned, spacious, two storeys and it can hold dinner function here. Service is also very attentive. Reasonable price too! Overall, it is very comfortable to dine here. If you happened to pass by Kampar, consider to stop by here for good foods.

Had din sum lunch here. The place was crowded and short of man power. Ordering a bit messy cause you need to go outside tell the worker what ya want. Jump queue may happens for late comers. Food is so so only. The dim sum were a bit hard. Taste is consider ok. Price is market rates. Parking can find within 100 meters.

A Chinese restaurant. Fried noodles are good. Fair prices. Clean place. Good for family or groups. Outside the restaurant, you can find them selling oversize curry chicken pau and nice traditional pastries. Parking may be a problem sometimes during wedding dinners.

Gong Hey Fatt Choy.. booked a RM798 Chinese New Year Set Meal for 10 pax. The Yu Seng (a traditional dish where people toss the ingredients high to symbolise a roaring good year and prosperous year), every ingredient has its own meaning. The shark fin is nice too even thou I'm not entirely supportive of consumption. Had a few more dishes in the menu, lotus rice, pig Trotter, white cabbage, dessert etc... take a few pics but not all of the dishes.

If you ask a Hidden Gem TimSum ? This is on top of my list specially the red rice CCF. Steam, Fried texture with fresh prawns in one roll amazingly done 👍🏽. 5stars it is. Charges are reasonable. This is not my first time here of course. Worth it.

Pastries were sold out by noon. Left the few pieces of fried sesame balls which were too thick and very little fillings. We didn't try the curry bun as we saw the curry (from the next table) was diluted. Restaurant was almost full house. Interior was nothing fancy. Some tables attracted flies. I don't like a restaurant without a menu. The waitress who came to take orders assumed we were regulars. Not helpful in introducing their dishes. Overall food was delicious. Stir fried pork served with fresh cucumber slices was tender and nice. Claypot prawns with vermicelli was tasty. Steam fish with preserved radish was fresh. Soupy spinach with century egg and salted egg was flavourful. Service was okay.

Just drop by to Kampar to sample their chicken curry bun which was freshly baked. It was delicious and comes in one size. The bun is extremely soft and curry chicken not so spicy. It fried mee tasted good too.

We came here by chance. First time having this dish - curry bread. Although the curry sauce was watery, the curry taste was good in combination with bread.

It's a pretty decent dimsum restaurant. They have chicken curry wrap bread which is actually quite tasty and rare to find at any dimsum restaurant. We ordered too much dimsum though and had to tapau back 🤗

Was here for a business trip, brought to here by Kampar locals. Decent food quality and taste, definitely up par or even better than many more restaurant in Klang Valley. Recommended for sure if you are travelling here in Kampar and looking for a good chinese restaurant ;) Have the chance to try their curry chicken bun which is deemed to be Kampar specialty, tried the curry gravy and it is thick and very flavorful! Perfectly paired with the buns at the outer layer. Feel free to give it a try xD

Wonderful Cantonese restaurant in town with good ambience & quality Dim Sum . Dinning utensils , tissue papers & toothpicks are labeled with her restaurant's name. Large and fresh prawns are used in the dumplings+ Siew Mai. Scallop cheong -fun ( Hong Kong style rice noodles) is highly recommended. Food is delicious. Many unique dishes available. Good value for money.

Review of Aug 2023 visit (Dinner) According to my Google maps history, I have been here every single time I visit kampar. Not surprising as the food is absolutely amazing. Perfect traditional and classic dishes are the true rendition of what it is meant to be. Food is impeccable and simply put it, perfect. Every dish was fined tuned to bring out the best flavours which complement each other. It's honest food that is not trying to be fancy. This well established establishment in Kampar has a rich history of creating good food.

The bread with curry chicken was delicious, with a flavorful and satisfying taste. However, the portion size was too large for two people to finish. It would be helpful if the owner could inform customers about the generous serving size beforehand.

Had ordered sweet and sour pork and pickled radish fried tofu, both are tasty. Yes it is slightly expensive, within Kampar area but the quality is extraordinary

One of our favourite restaurants to host visiting friends and families. Great selection of tasty high-quality Chinese food. Ambience has that old-fashioned restaurant charm. Service is fast and efficient. Curry chicken bread is arguably the best in Kampar.

Location: very easy to locate right in the heart of Kampar old town. Parking: Easy to park in the evening on a weekday. But was told it is hard to find a parking during weekend and long holidays. Ambience: Good, clean and comfortable dining restaurant where we really enjoy the old Cantonese style interior set up. Variety: A lot of choice to go for ranging from their famous salted yellow chicken, asam fish to loh hon zai and many more. Taste: Above average and very home cooking style so no after meal thirstiness. Price: very reasonable and portion are big! Service: very good service provided by their workers whom are mainly local retired aunties and a few foreign/orang asli helpers. Overall: Very good for family /group dining. P/s they do sell the famous Kampar Curry Chicken bread and traditional biscuits and pao from morning till noon. Also do call to make reservation during weekend/holidays to avoid disappointment.

Decorations nice. But Need to chace flies away at times. Dim sum quality ~ below expectations, especially har kau. Shrimps close to stale. (Not really this restaurant's fault, it is the dim sum industries throughout fault. Buying not fresh, frozen shrimps from supplier. Chef also Never check.) Only the fried lor pak ko is quite good.

Food is really good, some dishes are pretty spicy, just take note, but nice. Curry chicken breast has limited stock, so do pre order 1 day in advance. Ordered 250RM per table platter, 7 people.

Parking available nearby, and location can be easily found. Booking required for curry chicken bread (咖喱面包鸡) and egg tarts as they sold out very quickly. Freshly made egg tarts are available at 9am and 11am if you forgot to make a booking. Dine in is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well, and their food are delicious as usual. Worth trying their crabmeat noodles (桂花面) and paku vegetables (cooked with salted egg or sambal are the best).
