My husband & I was having brunch in this restaurant. We were there quite early. So not many people in the restaurant. Their interior surrounding was not the top- notch fabulous. But the curry chicken bun/bread that has been famous for decades still has the same quality. The lady that served us were very friendly and the way she served out the curry chicken bun/ bread, cut the bread opened was super professional. Overall, was quite an amazing meal experience. Thanks to their great, friendly, helpful service. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here just for the curry chicken bun. Small siz e is enough for 6 adults if you wanna add on other dishes. The food is average and price is quite affordable. They are selling chinese pastry outside which looks good but I never try on that, should have bought back. No crowd at 3pm. Plenty of parking nearby.

Roti ayam is normal, however the curry mutton bun and salted chicken is good.

Nice place for a quick meal around mid Perak area. Tg Tualang area specializes in fresh water prawns. Food is tasty, service is fast and friendly and price is definitely the winner.

Very very deliciousssss a must try experience. Very friendly staff the price for chicken curry bread Rm37 if lamb curry bread is Rm72.There is no any delivery to our house due to high demand. But take away and dine in is always available as usual but better hurry up before its sold out hehe. Its indeed a very great experience

Bought two curry chicken bun for takeaway and ate them on the same day. Certainly doesn’t live up to its expectation as the shop’s signature dish at Kampar. Curry doesn’t have any distinctive curry flavor and bun is not fragrant at all (maybe due to poor quality ingredients? ). Not worth the trip. I have ate better curry chicken buns in KL

One of Kampar’s most famous food is CURRY CHICKEN BUN. I thought it was a bakery, but I didn’t expect it to be a restaurant😂. I just ordered a curry chicken bun and didn't order other dishes, which was a bit embarrassing😅. However, it was really delicious and the staff helped us open it. The size was very big, suitable for 4 people eat. It's just that the environment can't escape flies, which is very annoying.

I stopped by this place after noticing many people doing the same. I bought a few types of pie, and they tasted really nice. Did not buy their signature koti ayam because the portion is too big. At least now I know a hot spot to hang out when I bring my family around.

The place opens throughout the day. Bread with curry chicken was not as expected. Curry was not delicious and more powdery type. Besides it was rather blend and not fragrant. The beer ribs had strong bicarbonate smell and the fried beansprouts was fried from a non clean wok as we could see bits of black dots.

Very delicious Curry Chicken Bread. Not so friendly service. They didn't bother to recommend any specialties or options. I would like to try the lamb curry bread the next time. Price is a little on the high side. Very clean restaurant and service is very fast.

Had lunch there. Nice food. Bought the so call "small size" curry chicken bread but it's actually considered big. There's 2 flavour of the chicken bread , curry chicken and herbal chicken. But the customer service not that good. The cashier should be more friendly. Tip : After you eat there, you'll have to ask for the bill. The cashier outside is for paying snacks or take away chicken bread.

Take out their curry chicken bun. This shop is very historical and usually visited by tour back in old days. The bread bun chicken comes with different fillings, you can pick either curry or herbal variant. Price is a little expensive for the product but considering it's a signature dish in Kampar, it's a must try if you do have chance to visit.

The fish is very nice

The signature dish is the curry chicken loaf. The curry is embedded in a loaf of bread. A small loaf could feed 4 persons. The bread is soft was the perfect complement for the curry.

Big portion and we both liked their fluffy bread，especially dip into the curry. We，2 persons ordered a small bread chicken，finished on full stomach without having other dishes.

Great combination with curry and bun, but the city favour is a bit strong. If I mixed with the others curry, it tastes perfectly. Their chicken portion is slightly less but the potato is the best.

Taste is bad, bought on 4pm and have it on 8pm. It taste not fresh, and abit sour. The potato is hard.

Bought a small size curry chicken bun (half chicken) to try. The portion is big enough for 4 adult to consume. About RM40 There are other flavour example the curry lamb as well. Taste good.

One of few reknown chinese restaurant (old style) in Kampar. Specialty is curry chicken bun! Tong po pork tasty also.

Only have the curry chicken in the bun photo as that is their signature and famous dish. The taste is still the same as how it was 10 years ago and this shop remains the tourist spot. Advisable to eat in the shop as it does taste better when it just came out from the oven. Suitable for family as they have all most of the usual Chinese dishes.

The price of rice and tea per pax was same as KL (around RM1.90-2 per pax). But for the food portion was okay.

Famous for its curry chicken bun. The bread is fluffy and soft, but the skin is a bit overbaked. Curry chicken with potato is delicious. Curry mutton bun is a bit salty. Herbal chicken bun is so so. Overall still think the curry chicken bun is the better one. If you happen to come to Kampar, it's worth to try. Otherwise, just buy curry from your favourite shop and eat with any bread 😆

The chicken curry bun is good especially the potatoes but too much corn flour to thicken it gives it the texture of gravy and not curry. Not spicy. If you're in Kampar, drop by for the pastries also.

Completed one of Kampar food icon with famous curry chicken bun (roti kari ayam). Basically, it is baked bread with curry chicken cooked inside. Sheet of tracing paper is used to "hold" the chicken in curry gravy, not to spill. When the bread is cut opened, the top & crusty parts "break off" nicely. After the server cuts opens the top the piece of tracing paper, you can either dish out a portion of the curry chicken into a bowl to dip you piece of bread init. The other option is to just "dip" the piece of breaf , straight" into the bread. This restaurant also serve other Chinese cuisine apart from buns , dim sum, pau , salted chicken , snow fungus , etc. Overall, taste of the roti ayam is good like dip in dip chicken with tender bread. One bun portion is for 4 pax (RM 36) Cleans and neat ambience with strict SOP. Friendly and accomodative staff.

I bought curry chicken bread today and was super disappointed with it. The curry chicken bread was burnt. The burnt smell was terrible and I couldn’t eat all the three curry chicken bread i bought. I drove one hour just to buy it and enjoyy my second day deepavali with it and was super sad with this experience. Hope you don’t disappoint people like this. People come all over the world and vring back for our loved ones and damn disappointed once saw a burnt curry bread!
