Sushi
Mentai
had
always
been
one
of
my
usual
sushi
place.
The
experience
in
most
of
the
branches
had
always
been
pretty
standard.
However,
Kampar's
Sushi
Mentai
experience
was
definitely
below
what
I
expected.
Firstly,
when
we
entered,
thr
was
no
greeting,
just
a
brusque
'how
many
ppl?'
in
Cantonese.
The
ambience
was
pretty
standard
but
the
smell
of
the
place
was
actually
pretty
strong,
considering
we
were
the
first
few
customers.
Food:
Few
example..
Chicken
teppanyaki,
they
don't
taste
like
how
we
usually
hv
them
in
Selangor.
Erm,
I'm
not
sure
how
to
describe
but
they
were
not
tasty.
Salmon
wrap,
the
rolls
were
stuck
together.
Shiro
ramen
looks
poorly
presented
as
well.
I
thought
I
ordered
wrongly
for
a
minute.
Presentation
matters.
Tempura
moriawase,
they
were
soggy
and
the
oil
smells.
This
was
horrible
for
me.
Even
the
kids
rejected
these.
Salmon
teriyaki
Don,
salmon
was
rather
dry
and
tasteless.
The
soup
was
good
though.
Chawan
mushi,
it
was
unappetising,
n
the
smell
was
rather
strong
as
well.
This
was
my
fave
n
I
was
really
disappointed.
The
utensils
ie
baskets,
may
need
replacing.
They
were
clean
but
the
basket
for
the
tempura
was
broken.
Why
serve
on
a
broken
basket?
Plus
side,
sushi
on
conveyor
belt
was
aplenty,
service
was
fast.
