The rice not soft enough

I ordered a fried karaage chicken and it was served cold, I was wondering how did they serve it in less than 10 minutes, then I realized they never fried it and served something that was maybe cancelled by other customers, luckily I didn't get a food poisoning. The salmon sushi with rice roll is okay, but the salmon pieces are too small and not even enough for a grown adult to be filled up. Sushi selection is very limited with mostly cheap ingredients being used and put on the rotating belt, you can rarely find salmon sushi even if you sit there all day long. The fried shrimp has a weird rancid taste, must be from using recycled oil to fry it. I ordered a plate of grilled salmon and they were so small, you guys need to increase the portion size tbh.

Nice and cool environment. Foods are reasonable priced. Good place to dine in.

Good food at good price. Love the salt grilled salmon head. Worth the price. Overall all the sushi/dishes here is nice and cheap like other outlets

第一次在金寶mentai用餐，食物端出來嚇了一跳，很小份! The chicken chop is only served with half？？？如果和吉隆坡、馬六甲還有其他我吃過的mentai餐館，這家是最離譜的小份！咖哩炸雞排飯的炸雞排是平時的一半而已，飯又少！整個餐來到很小份！！為什麼和其他mentai餐館的food quality差那麼遠？？看了留言, 原來不只是我一個人遇到相同的問題，真是太過份！太離譜了！！！！

0 star!!!!!! NO SERVICE ATTITUDE AND VERY VERY VERY VERY ARROGANT. The food over here was very oily... and not delicious at all.. We ordered green tea but end up its NOT on our table, reminded them but also ignored us 0 STAR ALL THE WAY!!!! the way they serve people were rude

Waited an hour for the teridon and when we ask the waitress, she said the kitchen havent even started yet but we see other people who arrived after us get their food first. Then, we also ordered green tea and after 25 mins we ask the waitress where was our green tea, she said dont have, only have chinese tea, so we agreed on chinese tea but it never arrived also. The waitress that serve me and my bf was very rude, she makes a face when we asked about the teridon and the green tea. Thank god there was another waitress who helped us and helped cancel everything that never arrived. Overall, this is the worst dining experience ive ever experienced. Will not be coming back.

Sushi Mentai had always been one of my usual sushi place. The experience in most of the branches had always been pretty standard. However, Kampar's Sushi Mentai experience was definitely below what I expected. Firstly, when we entered, thr was no greeting, just a brusque 'how many ppl?' in Cantonese. The ambience was pretty standard but the smell of the place was actually pretty strong, considering we were the first few customers. Food: Few example.. Chicken teppanyaki, they don't taste like how we usually hv them in Selangor. Erm, I'm not sure how to describe but they were not tasty. Salmon wrap, the rolls were stuck together. Shiro ramen looks poorly presented as well. I thought I ordered wrongly for a minute. Presentation matters. Tempura moriawase, they were soggy and the oil smells. This was horrible for me. Even the kids rejected these. Salmon teriyaki Don, salmon was rather dry and tasteless. The soup was good though. Chawan mushi, it was unappetising, n the smell was rather strong as well. This was my fave n I was really disappointed. The utensils ie baskets, may need replacing. They were clean but the basket for the tempura was broken. Why serve on a broken basket? Plus side, sushi on conveyor belt was aplenty, service was fast.

The food is not fresh. The tempura looks bad. The salmon was not fresh.

Clean and comfortable environment. Fresh and reasonably priced food. Worth a try.

Have dinner here for 2 hours, one hour wait for food, after half an hour I ask the waiter, I can feel she forget to enter the order, no apologies or what, more half an hour I ask another waiter, also not answer. So terrible, The sushi display up there can also put without cover. Be prepared to getting starving before come here

While prices are more reasonable than other Japanese outlets, food quality is mostly average. But the garlic fried rice at 3.90 per bowl is commendable. However, something needs to be done with the flies in the restaurant - it's really off putting.

Honestly, with the price tag they offer you should have know what kind of sushi you’re getting into. Definitely not the best, but also not the worst. The rice they use is rather wonky, and unappetising. Pro: affordable Cons: waitress is rather unprofessional, sushi rice is bad, repetitive sushi in the conveyer belt.

The staff is not attentive,andthe table is not clean

The outlet has always been popular each time I pass by. There was still long queue outside the outlet when we left about 2pm. The food price is one of the attractions. Food wise, there are plenty varieties. For RM1 genmaicha, you'd get a full jar. Garlic fried rice is RM3.80 a bowl. I ordered seafood fried rice which costs RM4.80. Not bad though. The only comment I have is a need to improve the air conditioning in the mid row.

food was okay only compared to other branches I had in KL, food were all covered on the conveyor belt which was food as I saw a couple flies going around. (don't think you can do much about the flies lol.) I ordered plated sushi through the menu and the sushi chef made the sushi fresh upon order which was nice, but if it's available on the conveyor belt then they'll prolly take it from there lah haha. price wise is alright 1.80/2.80 per plate, so if you want some quick jap food can just drop by here and have a quick bite since there's not much jap food in kampar. edit: since last time I've been here, food quality and cleanliness has improved significantly, this branch can consider on par with good branches in other cities already :)

This might be the worst branch of Sushi Mentai. Rude workers and low quality food. The food took 20years to serve when it's not even full house or peak hour. When we were asking for our food, the worker just acknowledged it and went away, without any response. And when we asked the second time, they say our cawanmushi still need to wait for 5 more minutes while we already waited for almost 30minutes for just ONE CUP OF STEAM EGG. And one of the sushi has tofu skin that tastes weirdly sour. We told the worker about this, he took it away and after a while he returned with the same plate of sushi saying it's normal to have sour taste in sushi rice. I told him it's the tofu skin that has the sour taste and he went away and came back again saying we don't have to pay for this sushi. Btw, not even a single apology:) Hopefully sushi mentai can have workers with better attitude instead of the terrible ones.

等一杯绿茶，等了36分钟，结果问了服务员，原来是忘记了，还是第一次等了这样久。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Food rating tor Soba and Ramen in Kampar branch andl 4 star for the server from orang asli but not for kitchen and frontdesk cashier I can said this is the worst I tasted. Tasteless and cold soup plus sticky and undercooked noodle. I hope you really review our feedback and do some action to make it better . Email sent

因为想吃拉面来的 没想到这次的拉面特别咸 我印象中鸡肉和紫菜是两个的 鸡蛋是温泉蛋 但这次居然是全熟蛋 鸡肉紫菜剩一个 有点失望😞

The sushi is cheap and delicious. Their set meal also delicious. I recommend the korokke because it was the famous snack in Japan and very famous for student in Japan

Had lunch at this place on a weekend. Food - Came early at 12 pm. Food was fresh and the sushi on the conveyor belt had a lot of variety. Loved the fried salmon skin especially. Pricing - Prices are very reasonable with either RM 1.80 or RM 2.80 per plate. Other items are affordable as well. Environment - Place is spacious and clean. Currently, they have social distancing which limits the number of people there. Service - Staff there are efficient and friendly. Any orders also come quite quickly.

Very very bad service, ordered online at 1700pm and pickup at 1740pm, but they forgot to add one of my order🤦‍♂️ Until 1810pm can only get the items, funniest thing was the item was already prepared and packed on the table at 1800pm something but no one see it!! When i was waiting outside their shop, the waiters keep passing by, and no one served me, what!??? Think twice before you make online order, and also dine in. Google should give 0 star rating here...

The staff ask me to wait 2 hours because full house dy. Come on, hire more staff if short handed, place order via WhatsApp also never reply. During billing also never say thank you, I say thank you but get no response. Young staff nowadays need to go back to kindergarten to learn manners.

Delicious and the portion was ample. The garlic rice smell very good. Soft crab a bit salty but edible. Takoyaki and california maki were tasty.

Food is soso and inconsistent standard, taste different every visit and there was once the food was served cold. ESPECIALL THE SERVICE IS SLOW. Was told that sushi orders need to wait for AT LEAST 30mins only upon ordering instead of entering the shop. Moreover, we waited for 1hour and curious why another table's sushi already served. So we asked and they just told us our sushi order are now making. JUST STARTED MAKING when we asked after 1 hour. Starving, and wasting our time.

one of the best restaurants(and the only sushi restaurant for miles) in kampar. good quality and service, only thing that needs improvement is the limited customer seats due to the reason stated above and less than desirable state of the toilet also due to the reason above.

Very bad service staff. Waited for half hour after order. Enquire about our order but was told they forgot to pass our order to the kitchen. Staff dif not even apologise for their mistake. Local kopitiam service is better and much cheaper too.

I came around 8pm and there wasn't much variety of sushi to choose from where I could see the same sushi going around and around, I guess it's because they don't have enough cooks or what. Also I ordered 2 of foods, the taste was average. The sanitation there was not good. Btw, the pencil for ordering food should be renew

The menu is smelly. Ordered salmon teriyaki don for 14.80 but u can see the portion is soooo small, the salmon is soooo dry and the fish skin is bitter. The chicken teriyaki don i cant even taste where is the sauce. Totally waste of my money 😭😭😭 tried many times here, only can eat sushi, but not the rice set and soba noodle
