Ok ok... the overall is well below average if the score include the environment. (we sit behind the restaurant as shown above). There was a bad smell coming from the sewage (I think they directly drain the waste water to the river system and since their is no strict regulation yet). The food and service was ok (we went there after around 2pm at a Holiday too, so we can understand the staff and chef was exhausted). But i simply cannot accept the environment of the restaurant itself. They should be better them that (you can clearly see their staffs' clothes hanging and sleeping 'beds' directly from dinning area. Which is only acceptable like 10 years ago, I am a Cambodia though.)

Fried crab was greasy and the portion was small for US20. The Tom Yam chicken soup we ordered was not Tom Yam and we paid US10 for it. None of the staff spoke a word of English, not that it matters, but one would expect it in a tourist section of the town. On a positive note, the view over the river and new bridge were nice.

We visited here for lunch in Vietnam traditional Tet holiday. There were six or seven dishes. The taste is very OK. The table service is OK, too. It is next to a river so that it is very windy and cool. A lot of international tourists came here for meals. However, the restroom is not so clean. Especially, ladies had to queue in women’s restroom.

Food is excellent - we ordered tum yum prawn soup, fried squid with fresh peppercorn, grilled beef and fried broccoli with garlic sauce. Need to order with specific instruction on the food size or they will just go with the large portion. There's only three of us so you can imagine how much we ate... 😅 Our table was facing the river, very serene in my opinion...

The food is very nice and the service is also good. But please be careful when paying the bill as some of item cost more than what stated in the menu. Understand why people recommend me not to go.

We came to eat here at lunch and dinner because the foods were great. Our kids are usually very picky with foods, but here they really loved it that we had to come back again. The restaurant is along the river, giving you beautiful and peaceful dining environment. Worth a try!!!

Visited this restaurant for lunch and here are some pros and cons: Pros: Atmosphere is good with fresh air. Soup and fried rice tastes good. Cons: Too pricey for locals. E.x. One chicken dish = 38$ Seafood not fresh Service is slow A little too noisy cause close to the main road + bridge

👍👍 Epic Arts and always has been an institution in Kampot. Lots of choices for either breakfast or lunch, desserts and pastries equally as delicious. My go to here are the deep fried spicy Moroccan eggplant rolls with cashew fruit couscous and Tzatziki sauce. It’s truly a culinary wonder, as are their...

👍 An old house with tin roof re-designed as a creative coffee shop. No A/C but it is not too hot with the big fans. At the entrance we could see the roasting machine and nice coffee aroma. We ordered avocado smash, burritos with pulled pork, americano, and latte. The price is very good in general with...

👍👍 I love this restaurant, from the comfortable settings inside to the wonderful, fresh selections on the menu. The falafel plate with the addition of an extra lavash bread is about $6.50, and plenty for a light lunch or dinner for two. Owner as friendly as ever, as was the case years ago when he start...

👍👍 A MUST when in Kampot - great hand pulled noodles and perfect dumplings (tried pork, shrimp and vegan), as well as soups and Pecking duck. The fresh coconuts are always sweet. They have a nice terrace overlookig the river. Staff is smiling and helpful.
