Good historical portrayal of foreign influences in Perak and Malaysia in general. It focuses on the events leading to the murder of the British Residence JWW Birch at Pasir Salak and subsequent events leading to the prosecution of the murderers. This historical complex was not crowded and worth a visit if you happen to be around the area. Lack of parking lots in the vicinity though.

A beautiful historical place. Hope the local government can take it seriously to preserve this local heritage. Such a waste if the state government doesn't run and manage this place appropriately.

Nice place to visit and learn basic history of 18th century Perak but the place lacks the X factor that could make it a unique and β€˜must see’ place. Driving to this place from the highway can be tiring.

I went there last week and it's officially close forever. Abandoned building. Sad to see this historical place went deserted like that.

Last time I came in 2010. Nothing has improved since then. The Rumah Kutai looks so bad now, and not well maintained. However, the gallery is still good. Entrance is Rm4 for adults, and RM2 for age seven and above.

Tremendous place and a MUST visit to this historical spot... a lot to learn from the exposition especially the KERIS MELAYU... and a tremendous educational explanation by the muzium officer (En.Fauzi... TQVM) that brings you back to the glorious era of Kesultanan Melaka (Malacca Sultanates) until the time British came/invade Tanah Melayu... n negeri Perak Darul Ridzwan is one of the concrete evidence left by them

PASIR SALK HISTORICAL COMPLEX, PERAK. Entrance Ticket: Adults: RM4.00 Children: RM2.00 In the complex it is not allowed to take pictures or record videos. Since I can't take pictures, I'll help photograph the exhibition in this complex only..😊😊 This historical complex has 2 exhibition parts. The upper part of the exhibition is completely diorama. Interestingly, we have never seen a museum that made a complete diorama concept in the exhibition space. So this is indeed something different. The lower part is an exhibition related to keris entirely. It is full of information about keris. All this time we only know keris, apparently this keris is complicated to make. The dagger itself consists of So, why go to Pasir Salak? Pasir Salak Complex is an area located by monuments, Terowong Sejarah Pasir Salak, Rumah Kutai, etc. It tells us historical stories about Perak, Pasir Salak specifically. It's free to visit this area, but RM4 per person is needed to enter Terowong Sejarah Pasir Salak. It's worth a visit since the details can be read and understood presented by very exciting diorama. Besides, there is also Keris Museum to be explored. Recommend! Nearby is viral eatery. You can search via Google Maps 'Nasi Lemak Kak Ah. " Having an enjoyable breakfast after visiting the complex is an unforgettable moment, for sure.

This is a remarkable place. Well maintained. The staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The Galeri Keris is simply outstanding! Thank you Che Fauzi for showing me around and sharing amazing history about various keris. I hope there will be Tiktok videos about each keris. The mosque next door, part of the complex is also well maintained. Highly recommended!

Komplex Sejarah Pasir Salak has a number of display in numbered sequence on the history of Malaya. Also in the museum compound, there are interesting sites and relics. The galery Keris is my favourite. The museum officer who is very helpful, explained to us the history of the keris, how it is made, used, maintained and stored. View the Perak River which flows through Pasir Salak, Teluk Intan town and finally to the sea at Bagan Datok's river mouth.

I want to get here through a small road. This time, there happened to be a bit of renovation in the complex so I couldn't get in but had time to survey the area around the complex. For a vacation with family, you can spend 15 minutes here to capture moments as memories. Parking near the outside of the complex.

Been here when i was a schooler it was great and its so good to learn the history from its place rather than just read in the books. Its sadden me that the place is poor maintain when I came lately. The public toilet isnt well kept so much abandoned vintage house that can be fix somehow. I wish I can see some improvement when I come back again someday.

It's a shame the management doesn't take good care of it, it's full of dust, many are broken, the toilet facilities are dirty, full of dust and lizard droppings.
