Walking on the banks of river Ganga, during early morning hours, sharing the walkway with joggers, runners, yogis, with a melange of sounds from morning prayers is a cherishable experience. Yes, there is pollution, heat, and at times cacophony of traffic sounds; I treated them like unground condiment in a delicious bengali dish-one wouldn't savour it, but it's part of the wholesome experience. Loved this place.

Really a beautiful place to have some peace of mind. And the best time to enjoy the luxury of the place is definitely the evening time. Some nearby street food sellers also gather around the time here selling Ice Cream, Papdi Chat etc. to the customers. So yes, do come here; bring your near and dear ones with you; and breathe in peace.

I have studied in Serampore college and have passed out in the year 2006. Still I visit the place . Such a nice place in the city beside the Ganges. Recently this has been installed here. It looks beautiful at night
