It was an great experience in the camp , The food and accommodation are simply awesome. washrooms are well maintained, clean & hygienic and 24/7 water is available (both hot & cold water). The blend of nature and outdoor activities makes this place awesome experience. The tents are well maintained and stay experience was fantastic . There are many activities to enjoy like trekking, archery, campfire, Bird view point, small waterfall , a small army obstacles training setup, etc. I loved the trekking experience and hospitality .

We spend 3 days at Captain's camp and we enjoyed every moment of it. It is surrounded by diverse luscious trees. The food they served was authentic and healthy. We got to learn about flora and fauna in the western ghats. There are water bodies, a fort, and a few temples that added to the fun. The wood furniture here was beautiful. We also had fun while learning rifle shooting and archery.

Very nice place to spend time with friends and family. The best part of the trip is the plantation tour by captain. If you are nature lover you definitely going to fall in love with this place and you can buy fresh herbs and honey from captain's farm. Very educational trip if you are interested in nature.

One of the best nature’s camp I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The location was absolutely perfect. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Luckily we met sujay hegde owner of captain camp, retired soldier 💪 He briefed us about each and every trees he planted in the camp. The experience was out standing. You people most visit this place 👌

Exceptional hospitality and facilities. It’s a must visit place in Sirsi. The property is surrounded by natural streams and water fall. Safe for kids to play in the natural pool as well. Further to this the property has number of adventurous activities that is guided by the captain (a retd. Indian army personnel), Unadulterated Natural spices that are grown and processed here are available at a very cheaper price as compared with market ones. Thank you captain and teams for our amazing stay.

I recently had the most incredible experience at Captain's Camp, a hidden gem nestled in the Western Ghats in Sirsi. This resort hotel is a haven for nature lovers and avid travelers seeking a unique escape. The setting itself is a masterpiece—the resort is seamlessly integrated into the lush greenery of the Western Ghats, offering breathtaking views and a serene ambiance. The staff's warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable. The range of activities provided here is unparalleled. From invigorating trekking trails to a fascinating plantation tour, and the thrill of air rifle firing and archery, Captain's Camp has something for every adventurer. The obstacle course, dirt biking, and ATV rides added an adrenaline rush to my stay. One of the highlights was the mesmerizing bird watching experience—I was captivated by the diversity of avian life in the region. For nature lovers and travelers seeking a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility, I wholeheartedly recommend Captain's Camp. It's a destination that effortlessly combines luxury with a deep connection to the natural beauty of the Western Ghats. Don't miss out on this hidden paradise!

Amazing place nestled within a plantation. The cottages were very well designed and up to date. The hosts were amazing. The food was good and local! It’s a perfect place to get away from the regular urban atmosphere. From the main road till the property is about a kilometre of off road but it is easy and the track is well Maintained.

This beautiful place is adjacent to sirsi town, at a short distance from the main road. As this serene heaven is situated amidst the clamping nature. You can isolate yourself from the hustle bustle of the city life. Hire a room or a tent house and wake up to a different noise, that of the birds, bonus is the evening breeze, added with the warmth of the fire camp. In between these morning and evening, you will engage yourself in the nature walk, various sports organized by the event holders. Very thankful to the owner and employees who helped us conduct a neat, beautiful birthday party in such a nice place. Good place for photo shoot also. Clean, friendly, calm malanad place. One must visit at least once!

Amazing experience with Captain's camp and it was long due for me to make a trip to Sirsi and stay at Captain's camp. Very friendly, family felt like it's our own property. So much comfort and support. We thoroughly enjoyed with Kids, elders and Captain suggested very nice nearby activities and temples. So lovely to spend time at Captain's camp and it was mind blowing. To be honest, it's not like big / famous resort. But the feel and experience with Captain's camp with family priceless. All the best team and looking forward to meet again. Thanks!!!

Tents have a cool quotient, rooms were very good. Authentic havyaka home made meals, most importantly awesome hosts and a tour of 100+acre land with spice gardens topped off with a visit to a sunset point, our visit was delightful.

Extremely helpful and pleasant folks who genuinely love the world around them. The food was delightful, we had the best Mangalore buns, haven't found anything since that compares (trust me, we tried)! We had the executive cottage, it was clean and equipped with all the necessities, a welcome sight after our travel. Jaya gave us authentic kokum on request and was so attentive, she came through with umbrellas in the rain and autos for travel when we needed to go out. Captain received us early in the morning to accomodate our travel times. His love for nature shines through as he offers to take is around the property and also to explore waterfalls, the Gaya caves and more. What was supposed to be a quick pitstop was actually a super peaceful start to our holiday. The camp looked lovely in the rain and was super calming. We wish we could have stayed longer but will certainly be back for more. Highly recommend to women specially, it's a safe, clean, welcoming space with great folks :)

Nestled in the heart of the hills, Captain's camp offers a picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the natural beauty that surrounded me. The location in the middle of a forest and the fresh air were a welcome respite from the concrete jungle. The accommodations at the resort were top-notch. My tent was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and I slept soundly each night even though it was a tent. One of the highlights of my stay at the Captain's Camp were the stunning views. Every morning, I woke up to the breathtaking sight of the hills stretching out before me. I spent many hours just sitting in the restaurant, sipping coffee & kokum juice and taking in the serene beauty of my surroundings. The resort also offered a range of activities to keep guests entertained. I particularly enjoyed hiking in the hills for the sunset and exploring the nearby trails. The resort also had a spice plantation and organic spices can be purchased from the reception area. The staff at the resort were friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. The food at the resort was also excellent, with a variety of local delicacies dishes on offer. Overall, I would highly recommend the Captain's Camp Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway among the hills. The combination of natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service makes this resort a truly memorable experience.

I had the most incredible time at Captain's Camp! The campsite was nestled in nature's embrace, surrounded by picturesque landscapes. The hosts were very friendly and always ready to assist. It was the experience of a lifetime and I enjoyed the activities to the fullest. The activities offered a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, thrilling treks, and serene nature walks. During the walk the explanations about the places/nature/ trees made me get closer to nature even more. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy sanctuary amidst the wilderness. At last, the experience I had in the camp made me forget about food, and it was good too.

I have grown up as an adventure junkie and have completed various treks in and out of Karnataka, but one thing has always haunted me: I want my family to experience the same. Finally, the time had arrived. I am very happy to have come across Captain's Camp, a place amidst pristine nature with short and long trek trails. well-maintained washrooms with hygienic water, small streams, delicious food, and all that is required to take a family through an amazing experience. The host deserves special mention for not only coming up with such a brilliant idea to make a place where he can host all age groups of people amidst nature cut off from the rest of the world but also showing keen interest in maintaining it, staying close to us to take us through his plantation tour, which itself is a beautiful walk deep inside the greenery, and making sure we have an amazing experience there. The way you've made it, it's not only adventurous but also an inspiration for nature lovers like us. Thank you so much, Captain.

Owner Mr. Sujay himself was with us most of the time during our stay and personally took interest in making our stay memorable. Manager and curator Jayalaxmi took good care and ensured we had a comfortable stay. This is the best camping experience that we ever had. Very much pristine place. Amazing ambience, great food, clean and neat toilets. We liked it to the core. Thank you very much for all the adventure and for bringing us close to nature. We want to come back again and again. I strongly recommend this place. See you soon.

Set amidst an arecanut plantation, this beautiful camping/nature resort is a breath of fresh air from the city. Literally! This is camping with a difference. Maybe call it even as luxury camping. The camp site offers various activates like archery, an obstacle course, rappelling, etc., to keep oneself occupied for the duration of the say. You can even go on a trek through the wilderness, with eight trekking trails varying in difficulty and even ones suitable for the reluctant trekker. The property has a fresh water stream running through it and also has a waterfall where you can take a dip in. You can even take the plantation tour where the host, the Captain himself will keep you engaged with his abundant knowledge on the flora and fauna of the farm. And going back to that luxury camping bit, Captain's Camp also has a restaurant, clean and well-kept restrooms and bathing facilities, the tents are spacious, set on an elevated platform with rain covers, pillows, mattress and blankets are provided and overlooks the garden and the greenery. All in all, it was a pleasant and a rewarding stay amidst the nature at Captain's Camp.

It was an amazing experience in the jungle in search for some little adventure during our weekend trip. The viewpoint was awesome to experience beautiful sunset. The food and accommodation are simply awesome. Home-style food, friendly staffs satisfy all. The kitchen and dining area are well-maintained and very clean. Sleeping in the tents in close to the nature can take someone’s experience into next level. One can enjoy modern amenities like clean bathroom, 24/7 running water, hot & cold water in bathrooms. The place is suitable for both family and friends and for all seasons, however, the most enjoyable time is post monsoon.

The host and the manager both are amazing and welcoming. We visited the resort on our office trip and had a lot of fun. The captain had planned a tour of spices plantation and it was really informative. Later we tried ourselves on the army hurdle and did a trek to the sunset point. We ended our day with a bonfire. The overall experience was really good

I recently visited this place with a group of friends and it was an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes tour of how the place was built, which was truly awe-inspiring. The attention to detail is evident in every corner and it's clear that Sujay and Jaya are truly passionate about ensuring each guest has a great experience. Not only were the adults in our group impressed, but the kids had a blast too! There were plenty of activities for them to enjoy, including trampolines and other fun games. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great time with friends or family.

I stayed in the camp over a weekend with my wife & son & the overall experience was very pleasant and refreshing. It's a nice & cozy place most suited for the adventure minded & nature oriented people. It's easily accessible from the town center. The people over there are very nice & pleasant - Captain Sujay Hegde (Owner), Jaya (Estate Manager) & the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed their company discussing many things from Botany to politics & elections! 😀 I will visit this camp again, hopefully as soon as the monsoon season ends. I strongly recommend this camp for people who want to visit & stay in Sirsi.

If you want to spend some quality time with nature in the famous western ghat of India, even for trekking then this is the place - **Captain's Camp**. We had a fantastic time and one of the experiences to have. Hospitality was top notch and the trekking experience is what we all loved the most. About our Host and Dost - He is incredibly amazing and knowledgeable about the place to explain in detail added more value to visiting this place. There are many activities to do like archery, rifle shooting, campfire, trekking, a small army obstacles training setup, etc. We loved the trekking experience to see 7 hills located in western ghat and if it is not cloudy then the sunset experience is worth watching. Overall, I loved the place!!
