The Justo Sierra monument is a statue that preserves and commemorates part of the history of Yucatán. Furthermore, the architecture of the buildings on this avenue represent its emblematic history. I really like Paseo Montejo because of how beautiful and well-kept it is, they keep it clean and very well arranged, in addition the buildings of different architectures complement a beautiful visit through this passage, it is possible to enjoy it more when there is a little rain, it gives it a amazing view.

A monument to Dr. Justo Sierra, a shame that they find most of the country's monuments being painted in demonstrations that have gotten out of control. OUR MONUMENTS ARE NOT TO BLAME OF ANYTHING.

Dr. Justo Sierra O'Reilly was a defender of the socioeconomic class to which the authors and managers of the Paseo de Montejo belonged, so this sculpture is a sign of gratitude for his political position. It is worth mentioning that of all the monuments, this was the first to be placed on Paseo de Montejo and is located at the northern end of the avenue. The material it is made of is bronze and it was made by the Catalan sculptor Hondenden.

It will always be beautiful. Although I understand the protests, rulers and authorities should take action on the matter to prevent this from happening. The solution is one of substance, not form.

It is a good monument, the only problem is that it is difficult to access it due to traffic, although with some patience it is possible.

Beautiful area, but be aware of autos if you are a pedestrian. Cars do not pay attention to pedestrians and there are often incidents in this area.

It is very nice and well maintained, although the movement is somewhat confusing for motorists, it is just a matter of paying attention to the signs.

Enjoy the Paseo de Montejo which is well worth a visit, but forget this statue. It has been horribly damaged by graffiti and is surrounded by a large wooden barrier.
