The quality was good and the staff polite. We had a mosquito problem and they provide a mosquito net for us and our baby. The beach in front of the hotel was clean and nice and the swimming poll was also in good condition and good shape. Breakfast was good, particularly the egg station. The price in general is higher than other Indochina countries, and the hotel is really far from the village, unless you have your own car or can arrange transportation, it will not be convenient.

Room was ok. Room service could have been better. Pool water was not clean or maintained as expected. Foods were pretty decent. Location is a bit far from actual crowded beach front. Overall stay was pleasant.

Quiet and private place to relax since the location is a bit far from the crowded area. There are beach guards always monitoring for the visitor's safety.

A few minutes after we arrived at the resort, my wife, son, and I immediately ran to the beach, since we sorely missed the sand and waves (this included the excited jumping up-and-down at the shore, with matching hurrahs and yays). Sadly, my wife dropped her fone who-knows-where in the sand. So, we asked about for help from the resort lifeguards and security people. Everyone scoured the nearby shore, and some (including me) dove in the sea to look for the fone. Alas! After a few minutes of fruitless hopeless searching, we checked-in to our room lost and depressed at the start of our vacation (which was also a celebration for my son and his 3rd birthday). Inside our room, trying to regain ground, feeding my starving son his lunch, the front desk suddenly called, happily saying one of the lifeguards found our fone stuck in the sand! Wow! The lifeguards told us that just a few days before, some guests also lost their fones to the sea, so we were definitely lucky! Needless to say, after this unforgettable event, we had a blast, especially my son, since it was his first time bodyboarding with me (the resort offers surf and bodyboard rentals with lessons, unlike other resorts in the area, which was a plus! And Ngwe Saung has good waves!) Food is also delicious (especially their seafood grill), service is super-friendly and superb! And even if it was the start of the Water Festival here in Myanmar, and the place was packed with families, we did not feel crowded, and there was so much space! The resort also has the new and beautiful Surf Point Restaurant and Bar at the north end of the area that offers refreshing drinks and an amazing view of the famous Ngwe Saung sunset (that was a cool respite for my wife and I, and even a sand pit for the kids!) Thanks again to Ngwe Saung Yacht Club for the wonderful stay! Here’s to the next beach vacation plan in your resort!

Beautiful resort with excellent service on the beach. We stayed here for 3 nights and here is a breakdown of my experience. Booking: we contacted the hotel via their fb page. They were responsive, informative and very professional. We were able to book the hotel with ease. Checking in and out: The process was very efficient. We were in a buggy headed to our room within 15 mins of our arrival. Checking out process was equally efficient. The checking in and out counters were at separate ends of the lobby, l which further increases the efficiency (in my opinion). Rooms: The rooms were huge. We got a loft room and a deluxe garden view rooms. Both the rooms came with very soft beddings, soft pillows, fluffy towels and complete amneties. House keeping: They are very attentive. The rooms were magically clean, amneties replenished, and well organized everyday when we came back from bfast. Pool: large pool, very crowded throughout the day. There was ample supply of fresh new towels and many lounges to sun bathe on. Food and drinks: The breakfast buffet had a decent spread of western as well as local food. The coffee was good, bread was good, croissants could have been better, and ample supply of fresh fruits. There is a lot of cocktails, wines, and other drinks to select from the bar menu. Beach: The property is located on a private and clean part of the beach. They offer many different water sports including surf lessons, which gets filled pretty fast. The hotel also has another restaurant called surfpoint restaurant and bar, which is an excellent place to chill in the evening. You can either walk or take a buggy ride to the resataurant, which has the same menu as the main one, but has lot more entertainement. There is snooker table, fooseball, sandpit, etc. Definitely recommend this place. However, if you are looking ro be somewhere quiet, this may not be the one ( or maybe) since it ia popular with both the expats and the locals.

Hotel rating A (84/100) Rooms **** Service ***** Location***** Price ** Breakfast ***** It's one of the best hotel in Ngwe Saung Beach. It serves great breakfast and has got crystal infinite swimming pool. The yard is created with a great landscaping style. And the land mark light house is near the by resort.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, there's a beautiful garden/beach view. Reasonable price. Good cocktails, nice beach. Good hotel. Wifi is unstable. It's very quiet during week days which makes it perfect but can be very noisy when groups arrive on the weekend (corporate events).

The room is large, but twin bed rooms are not only 2 beds. It has 3 beds inside. It makes us feel uncomfortable.

We visited in end of July, means during Rainy season. Even though our trip and stay at resort was enjoyable.Sea view villa are excellent but bit expensive. Breakfast is combination of traditional food along with European and Chinese. Taste is quite nice. Garden is lovely and green. Car park is enough.

Very well managed and with great staff. Great service too with lots of safety standards in place. Only negative is location is bit far from the outside restaurants or shops and also can get noisy near swimming pool rooms. But the best place to just chill for a great holiday.

Their services are poor. We booked the villa room with one extra bed. I have requested one extra water cup as we have 3 adults and I have seen only 2 cups. They were very hesitant to provide me at first. Later I explained that I paid for the extra bed and booked for 3 adults. Only then, they provided me the extra cup. This was not the end here. As we checked out, they told me that they found the stain (bubble tea) in small towel (Charged me kyats 5,000 for chemical usage for laundry), 1 teaspoon (charged me kyats 6,000, later found it) and chocolate which we didn’t even consume (tried to charge me). We felt that it was daylight robbery right here with the standard & reputation of this hotel in Myanmar. We have been to so many hotels in Asia and never heard of those charges. If these were the hotel policies, we are willingly to pay for it in Myanmar market rate (definitely not with over charges)

Reasonable price. Very hygienic. However, the WiFi is limited to a certain number of users. It's very weird and awkward to find a window right above the restroom. Makes me worry that someone would be watching me showering from above.

A wonderful experience. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and always helping you to be at maximum comfort. The food of the restaurant is delicious and varied, both burmese and western style food can be chosen. The rooms are comfortable and neatly clean, probably all of them with sight of the ocean. The best thing is the pool, next to the beach. Many kilometers of clean soft sand, warm water, wide beach makes of the place a magic spot.

    1) Foods (breakfast) are not so good. Although they serve variety, tastes are very normal, some are overcooked. 2) Compare to price, room facilities are poor. Socket outlets are put at unusable places for kettle. Our room's main door lock is very difficult to be opened and there is a gap where can see into the room between door and door frame. Shower water pressure is very low and water heater is not working. 3) the good thing is that they can accept bank transfer payment.

The rooms were very clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet served was also very delicious. The view was beautiful. The massage was very relaxing just that the rooms were kinda pricey. Also the location was in the middle of nowhere and most locals didn't know about the hotel. I had to use google maps. Other than that everything else was perfect. I even went to the club which was my very first time.
