👍 So much fun walking around the rocky borders of the island, enjoying the beautiful ocean views and seeing poeple having fun in the water and on passing boats. Enjoyable mini-hike up the hill and through the jungle paths 🍃 I heard it's a good place to snorkel as well 🐠 People often mention beach, island, beautiful,

To get a legit view... we should climb up to the top of the hill for like 10 minutes... it was tiring but if you are seeking for an exotic adventure this is the right place.... On the other hand, hill is very steep to climb which is not a good place to go with kids

Very disappointed island! To get there is easy and you can cross the beach by foot! It is amazing but once you get there, you’ll see an island full of garbage everywhere! More respect to the environment please!

Beautiful Place to visit. Always beautiful Island. But beach seller and boat workers should have more interested to keep cleanliness. And should not much disloyalty to beach visitors. Some of the beach workers are cheating to visitors for their business.

Ngwesaung (Burmese: ငွေဆောင် [ŋwè zàʊɴ]) is a beach resort located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. The beach is 5 hours drive, with no traffic, away from the principal city of Yangon, and an airport is in the works. Buses leave at 6am & 9:30pm from in front of the Yangon Central Railway Station. Opened in March 2000,[1] Ngwe Saung is newer than nearby and more popular Chaungtha Beach, and is designed to attract people with larger holiday budgets. An unspoilt 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) stretch of silvery sand and modern amenities have made Ngwesaung a popular destination for less budget conscious tourists from Lower Myanmar. Still Ngwesaung has much to develop. Its choices for nightlife activities remain paltry, even by local standards. Chaungtha and Ngapali beaches have greater choices of nighttime activities. At this point, a nearby elephant training camp is a main daytime attraction at Ngwesaung. The Calventuras Islands are a group of islets lying about 9 km to the west of Broken Point. Beautiful Beach, Gentle sea breeze, Tranquil environment, really joyful the N... Worth the bus journey Ngwe Saung is newer than nearby and more popular Chaung Tha beach. When the waves get big be careful if you have small children as the undertow... Plenty of restaurants in the town to satisfy everyone’s needs, fresh seafood...

Majestic, wonderful and absolutely romantic. The catch was that my children tagged along for the walk and I hardly had the chance to spend couple time with the wife. If I return again, I'm leaving my children aside and I'll sit by the shore of the island with my wife and we'll be looking at the sea and listening to the waves. But seriously, who am I kidding... I enjoyed the family time at the beach and the island. Cheers!

When that water is up should not go it's difficult to cross the sea. Recommend go only when the water is down (evening time). It's fun to take photos and play with rocks.

Total cesspit of trash on the beach. Absolutely disgusting. What a pity as the surrounding beach area looks lovely and so does the island.

Small island about 100 meters away from Ngwesaung beach. Can go by walking in some days. Or by boat, you can see round the whole island. On island , only sand and beautiful beach scenes to make photos present. However going round the island is very adventurous as tidal waves are very rough and tumble. But very exciting and challenging.

Love it!!! Very beautiful island within Ngwe Saung beach. But you notice the time of tide increase and decrease period. At the decrease of tide, you can walk through to the island. And then, I really recement to you go to the west of island that place is good to seeing sunset. Our group visited to Ngwe Saung beach this year 2023.
