Today, I had an unexpectedly touching experience right outside Dr. Abdulla's outpatient department at Starcare. I witnessed a heartfelt moment where a lady was expressing her gratitude by touching Dr. Abdulla's feet, and he, in turn, was providing reassurance and comfort. Although I couldn't comprehend the details of their conversation, the visible tears from the other lady conveyed a profound emotional exchange. What struck me most was the exceptional compassion exhibited by the doctors at Starcare, particularly Dr. Abdulla. Witnessing such genuine care and assurance being extended to a patient reinforces my belief that Starcare houses some of the finest doctors in Calicut. I had a very bad experience at this hospital last month. when a relative of mine gave birth at the hospital.it was normal delivery.that time their caring and staff's behaviour was Lack of decency.i think they never likes a normal delivery because they having some packages and schemes.if you go a normal way they won't be treat you as well or politely.its all about buisness.finally they discharged us after 3 days of delivery and there was an infection on stitching they didn't informed us.they simply discharged.after that we found some other best doctor to take best treatments on it.

Very bad experience today. I had to wait almost 2.5 hours for just scanning. They have already a list and just 4 person before me. They are allowing other patience from out side. You have to provide better care for your patience. I don’t have any complaints about the treatment which they have grate doctors especially Dr. Sunil Rajendran.

Wonderful experience… Dr. Antony and Dr.Radhika was a wonderful surgeons, and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. The doctors are good Facilities and hospital management is very poor. Ant inside the cradle which provided for the baby. Very irresponsible behaviour from staff. Old furnitures, bad rooms. Yes, you will be cured. The number of medications and expenses will cure you in no time. But the service that you get for a standard room, which is literally, like a dog house, is less than poor. Nurse station doesn't have enough staffs. And the way everyone care is just above how you deal with a stranger. There is not even enough seats to sit outside the room. This is just in humane and carelessness from the higher authorities at the worst level. The building itself is just a make up male barbie to attract money!

Today we had a very bad experience from Star care hospital. In the morning when I called them for a scanning appointment they didn’t give me a proper answer so I went directly to the hospital and took a slot (w1). According to the instructions of reception staff I reached again at 3.30pm But they made us to wait till 6 pm . It was horrible for us to wait with full bladder for too long. They could have tell me an exact timing. The behaviour of reception staff was really disturbing. They’re misleading and confusing patients who pay more than the hospital deserve.

Staffs are not trained well. We are paying them and they show their arrogant attitude towards us, as if they don't us to come back again. No proper system of consultation. Whoever comes first they will go last , its their policy. Time is important for everyone its not only for you guys . Management please work on this otherwise your goodwill will be washed out by your esteemed employees.Teach them the word meaning of hospitality and how to do that.

Very poor administration. Out of 4 elevator, one never works and one stops working at 6pm. Then irrespective of emergency patient or bystander you need to wait for your turn. You might also face delay with the loading unloading of goods or even cafeteria food Great state of the art doctors available but needs top notch administration too. Even few nurses are very new to profession

My wife anjusha k k admitted here for delivary under dr radhika manoj. one of my friend dimesh recommended to me regarding star care. his wife delivary done here at star care. so we consulted to radhika madam at opd. opd consulation done quickly. no rush was there and also no delay. madam explaned everything detailed. review done on 30th and mam advised admnsn.i had choosen suit room. it is spacious neat and tidy. admn procedure dt hv any delay. nursing staff service is so good. staffs are experienced. mu wife faced different experirnce in labour room. every staff was so co operative and well experinced in taking delivary. they made so comfortable. radhika mam came directly and given review and health status of wife and child. new born care had done nicely. we have a wonderful experince and it was cost effective compared to other hsptls. Cake xutting ceremony was wonderful and unexpected. Really good management.

Real bad experience in the emergency room today with my 4 year old . The doctor was nice and understanding but the nurses were totally in another level. If you’re not confident in withdrawing blood from a child please don’t do it and inflict pain and trauma to a child. My child was emotionally anxious , which after repeated information the nurses didn’t bother to take in account and got offended when I told them to stop traumatizing him and check properly before you prick. They felt blaming a sick 4 year old was the best option to tackle the inefficiency of their abilities . Fortunately the duty doctors were considerate and provided alternative methods so as to avoid any other such painful measure . I do recollect the doctor mentioned that it doesn’t look difficult to draw the blood from the child. If so why did they keep digging into his vein so many times that he was in agony . Management should put in efforts to ensure all the staffs especially the nurses have a level of compassion towards patients. Really heartbreaking

I am a consultant in a private hospital, Cochin. My wife was admitted for a caesarian section, which is our second baby. We had received a amazing care from our beloved Dr. Jalaja. Her timely interventions and decision helped to avoid the complications of the baby. Mother and baby was fine from the very next day. Really thankful for the care and affection from the Doctor and nursing team. But as foot note, I removed one star out of the five was imbalance between the amount charged for Standard premium room offered to us and the amount they are charging. Black taped electrical plugs, heavily rusted baby cradle, lack of a bed for bystander, malfunctioning patient couch, wall with old drawings, untidy rooms and all just compromised the peacefullness of the stay. Moreover we got a feeling that, we paid unnecessarily increased amount for that designated SMAALL room. Otherwise, overall it was a good experience. I hope, the management will take it positively and support your efficient doctors with pleasant rooms so that they can attract more patients.

The Worst Hospital in the State of Kerala. I had a very bad experience yesterday. Such a Bad Behavior from Top to Security. If anyone going for any Surgery or any other kind of treatment should check the cost of treatment before admitting to this STAR CARE Hospital. Just for removing a Stone from Bladder, they give us the Bill for an amount of Rs. 1,78000/= ( Rs. One Lakh Seventy Eight Thousand). We had a very big arguments from morning 2pm till 10.30 Night. Atlast they settled the bill for Rs. One Lakh and we paid. Very Rude Behavior from the Security to the Top. Kindly think twice before going for any Surgery there.

Everything else is fine at hospital except for the scanning department. The process seems to be very much lagged out . With this sort of infrastructure and facilities I personally feel an additional arrangement must also be made available for scanning and radiology facilities in order ensure hassle free service for all customers

Pleasent atmosphere, comparitively good parking area, well organised pharmacy. Fully air conditioned waiting lounge next to very hygienic and well maintained canteen. Also MINI ATM facility available at ground floor.

Great services by Dr. Nishi and the entire team. I have been given all the care and cautious treatment from start to finish and I'm very grateful for the same. Even after the official sittings, I received check up calls. The services provided like delivery of the hearing aid was too quick which is a life saver. All my gratitude to one of the amazing audiologists and the team for handling their patients with utmost care and hospitality.❤

We were here for my wife's delivery and I Really like to give 5 star but but some of the things the management should focus too is cleanliness of bathroom and maintainance of the Rooms. Deep cleaning required for Room bathrooms it's looks dirty and the cleaning staff is not really bothered to clean the toilets. The Pros of hospital is they have an amazing Nurses/Doctors took great care of my wife and child. Well mannered/ behaved Nurses and Doctors. Really like to specially mention Dr. Radhika Manoj for here simple and down to earth behaviour and took a great care. Thank you Doctor Finally the hidden charges in the bill which the hospital billing team/ staff charged without taking the concern of the patient is the Cradle bed charges(300 Rs per day) which either of the hospital staff educated us. After talking to the staff in the billing they were not really keen to address it well.

Had an amazing birthing experience from starcare under Dr.Radhika Manoj. Doctor is so kind and understanding and patiently explains our every concern, even with her tight schedule. Their ldr labour suite was so soothing for me as i could have the support of my husband throughout labour. Nurses, staffs, everyone was so supportive and kind and made my delivery memorable. Their delivery package is very good and we dont have to worry about anything, everything is well taken care of until discharge.

Very happy and satisfied with the treatment here at Starcare Hospital. Doctor Aju, ENT was our doctor and his way of dealing with patients under his care was quite remarkable. Special mention must be made on the conduct of all the staff here which is really first class.

Three year before It was a one of the best option for maternity cases @ Calicut and we got a better care from them ,but currently their entire services is bad, some key areas of their poor services are 1: Patient vs nurses ratio is very less even in the labor room few nurses are attending multiple cases at a time.however the available nurses are doing their best. 2: Substandard canteen service and food. 3:Maintenance of room interior, furniture , toilet fittings poor 4: There is no any key person like floor manager or manager on duty to resolve patient needs and we need to disturb the busy nurses for each and every cases.

Cons: No hot water in toilets in room. We need to inform house keeping for receiving hot water and that too in one bucket or so which is very unprofessional from a hospital trying to keep good standards. The quality of rooms has degraded but the charges remain high for the rooms. The nursing and other staff's services apart from doctors need to be improved. We had good experience from doctors to be honest. Pros: Centralised AC and Infrastructure other than rooms are good. Insurance dept. process was smooth for me. Its not busy as some other hospitals in the city. So we have a peaceful atmosphere in the hospital. Pharmacy is well organised. In 2018, when we used the same hospital facility it was better than now.

We came for my sister's delivery. Received very good treatment. My sister's first delivery was here. Dr. Shamni was under treatment. I had a good impression of the hospital and its doctors, nurses and other staff. God's decision He gave us some trouble this time. Very bad customer management. Irresponsible staffs including receptionists. I was billing for a lab test and they billed the wrong test. Instead of HCV they wrote it as HIV. They don't know doctors scribes. Waste of time. The operations managing staffs there are acting like we are there for begging. Teach them to behave and handle customers.

Best hospital in Calicut. Friendly atmosphere and attitude of the staffs are overwhelming. Successfully completed surgery for my mother, and she praised each ones attitude towards her. Dctr Sreejith from orthopaedic surgery gave her confidence to face surgery. One day I was busy at my office so my mother and sister went there for consultation with my toddler. My wife had a challenging experience in the scanning section, waiting for over 4 hours without access to the restroom. The staff didn't provide tokens or estimate the waiting time for the scan. However, the doctor's section was excellent.

Worst experience with Dr Shanuja P Gastroenterologist. She insists to take appointment between 9 and 10a.m and herself reaches after 10a.m. She laughs at the patient with her assistant making fun of your disease. No diagnosis or medication is prescribed. Otherwise mostly I like all the other doctors and staff in starcare hospital, they are very friendly and respectful.

Starcare has great doctors and nurses and even attenders are very helpful, but the canteen is extremely below average. Unhygienic staff walking in and out of the kitchen. Expect a little more care and hygine in a hospital canteen. Other than that fully satisfied.

When our son was admitted, I felt he got the most effective treatment and care from Starcare Hospital. The doctor, nurses, pharmacists and all other staff were very supportive and caring during treatment. The room, and hospital premises are very clean at all time. Moreover the treatment cost was much less compared to other hospitals

Star care services was excellent when I visited for my wife first delivery in 2018 but this time it was totally upside down. She tested covid positive and suddenly they shifted us to a room like a trash and we have to meet a lot of people to fix these and later shifted to other room. As pandemic is going on and they don't have any idea to take care of such emergencies. And also they are giving wrong information about the booking for doctors. I really appreciate the doctors and their services. But I'm totally disappointed about some of the staff service.

I have 5 years experience with the hospital and with different departments. Very good service and care. Especially the lab service and staff. One suggestion is that the time gap for the payment of consulting fee for the follow up can be made up to 2 weeks instead of one.

Booked an appointment for 2:00 pm, reached hospital at 1:30 pm, and still waiting after two hours as doctor had gone for his lunch break (fairly so). Government hospitals have better turnaround with appointments :/

Very poor service . Reached ontime for scheduled COVID vaccination and could not get it. They just sell it on spot..you can not get any guarantee through you have made the booking . Do not trust and come for COVID vaccine .you will get to know that it's finished only after making payment and after waiting .

Overall good, experienced staffs in audiology dept, Dr Aju ravindran is a very good doctor...bit over priced for the procedures, but its ok for the facilities provided.... Need to improve..!!!! front office staff's behavior and need to expand it, need more cash counters...to reduce rush... The staffs are experienced and very attentive. The process is smooth and the service charges are affordable. That said, a complete opposite experience of expectations from a chain of hospitals established overseas. The emergency entrance is in the other side. The casuality is understaffed and very warm. Moving around from basement to other floors is confusing. Although, one dose not go there for casual experience. But, the management has got a lot in their plate to improve the patient and attendees experience in the hospital. Kindly, have masks sold In pharmacy as well.

My mother and I came here to take a ct ini the evening after 7. First of all in the reception desk a lady was there she was there for the sake of some one i think. As she said we went down stairs to the radiology department and not a single peraon was there in the radiology reception We had to knock the doors of the department and suprisingle no one knew of it inside Then we roamed around and found some ladies sitting inside a room When we said them no one was their attitude was like they are paying us for the scan or something We have also enquired them about the rate through whatsapp and they were arguing they informed us and the contrast was we didnt recieved any calls. No one was there to guide us Could have improved the staff behaviour and also better to keep some floor managers atleast

Radiology facilities are not good and blad. Normal USG price for most of the hospitals is 1000 and here it is 1600. What facility providing for extra 600. Far far better is MIMS for one thousand. Pls don't go to radiology dept. We paid 3200 for twin.

Worst hospital in calicut . NO Proper services and care .Delay for the consultation was 2.5 hours even after taking the appointments . Not a hospital atmosphere . Construction noise was very loud. Parking facility is poor . I should give less than 1 star rating for this hospital.

heath checkup service needs more improvements The provided support staff was good 👍 No privacy in ecg department as the friends of ecg staff keep coming while scanning Ecg staff call next patient before first patient dress up No space for dressing in ecg area Since no proper guidelines, we have to wait every section long time and time waste adding one more point that, most the the ceilings are dirty and need more cleanup of painting. i just observed while laying down for ECG and USG :(

No idea how this hospital is NABH accredited. Staff shortage is very evident in the whole. Inefficient nursing stations. Lack of nursing staffs. You will have to remind nurses for medications and other schedules. Many machines has complaints. Like, ECG. No infection control facility. Sick staff without mask even in the ICU. Patient lift with visitors. No enough parking facility. No explanations given when we raised the concerns. Experience from 9 days stay for wife’s delivery. Ps: This is the experience when we opted for premium category rooms and facilities. Can’t imagine how people opted for standard category would have experienced.

Excellent hospital. All service provided are very satisfactory. Calm and quiet atmosphere. All doctors and nurses are so good. Especially laboratory staffs are incredibly attentive, compassionate and efficient. Well impressed by the services.

Good service throughout but could increase the parking space and speed up the ultra sound scanning department. Scanning takes 3-4 hours of waiting for pregnant ladies. Would suggest to make scanning separate for pregnant ladies. Poor canteen
